Delete an App ID

You can remove App IDs when you no longer need them. However, you cannot delete an explicit App ID for an app you uploaded to App Store Connect.

Required role: Account Holder or Admin.

  1. In Certificates, Identifiers & Profiles, click Identifiers in the sidebar.

  2. Select the App ID you want to delete.

  3. On the top right, click Remove.

  4. Read the dialog that appears, then click Remove.

Provisioning profiles that contain a deleted App ID become invalid. To repair an invalid provisioning profile, visit “Edit, download, or delete provisioning profiles.”

App IDs can’t be deleted if they are grouped with other apps for features like Sign in with Apple. You must ungroup related apps in your Sign in with Apple configuration in order to take further action.
