a) It might be that this particular submittal/app is flagged, but, a rejected app by itself doesn't necessarilty mean an account is flagged, unless, the rejection also perhaps said 'account is under investigation', in which case you may be prohibited from submitting additional apps, in which case there wouldn't be any 'future reviews' to be shadowed, so... Your question seems to conflate apps w/accounts, and, you didn't share the rejections/appeals, so, not clear.b) If I can be blunt - A 4.3, IMHO, is a polite way of saying 'sorry, you don't have an app'. You can't adjust something that isn't there.c) Subjective? Seems like a trick question.BTW, we haven't used iTC for quite some time. ASC now, App Store Connect.

My app was rejected for reasons: During our review, we found that this app was designed for a specific business or organization, including its partners, clients or employees, and not for general distribution on the App Store. Business apps available on the App Store are meant for use by a wide variety of external customers around the world. As this app is not intended for general distribution, it cannot be made available on the App Store. We encourage you to review the other ways to distribute your business app and choose one that better meets your business needs. If you revise your app concept and features to provide substantial value to a wide variety of external customers around the world, we recommend that you also review our App Store Review Guidelines, including, among others, guidelines 2.5.4 - Background Location, 3.2.2 - Unacceptable Business Models, 4.0 - Design, 4.2 - Minimum Functionality, and 4.3 - Spam, prior to resubmitting the app for general distribution on the App Store. I recently updated my application with embedded Watch app. Some users reported that the application does not install on their watch. Mine was ok. I had to completely remove iPhone application to reinstall it and reproduce the problem. iPhone is on 11.3 Watch on 4.3. One user report the problem while his iPhone is not yet upgraded to 11.3.My application have accented character in its name but it has been there for years. The tricky point is that the error message on the console gives no indication at all :11:45:55.331887 +0200 appconduitd 0x16bdcb000 -[ACXServerInstallOperation receivedDictionaryOrData:]: 591: Got error 17 in install done from remote side (MI error (null) ; Extended 0x0 ; Desc (null)) 11:45:55.332599 +0200 appconduitd 0x16bdcb000 -[ACXServerInstallOperation receivedDictionaryOrData:]: com.iphigenie.3.10: Got install done 11:45:55.333436 +0200 appconduitd 0x16bdcb000 -[ACXServerInstallOperation _onQueue_callCompletion:]: Resetting socket because of error Error Domain=ACXErrorDomain Code
I have the exact same message from Apple and my developer account is just 4 days' old.My first app was approved a day before. The second app has the exact same design but present a totally different information as i want users to have a similar experience using all my App. Anyway, I think this may have violated the following.4.3 SpamDon’t create multiple Bundle IDs of the same app. If your app has different versions for specific locations, sports teams, universities, etc., consider submitting a single app and provide the variations using in-app purchase. Also avoid piling on to a category that is already saturated; the App Store has enough ****, burp, flashlight, and Kama Sutra apps, etc. already. Spamming the store may lead to your removal from the Developer Program.Anyway, I'll wait for Apple to respond.
HiI'm a new developer and I would like to submit two apps. Both apps does de same, the only difference is the design of the client and database . I try to submit the apps but always regect the apps with 4.3 Design spam.I see in the App store guide lines I need to use the In app purchase, I found the option in the App store connect but I don't know the type of purchase I need to create (Consumable, Non-Consumable, or Non-Renewing Subscriptions).Althought I would like to know how this affect to the code.

I have a 6 million downloaded basketball game, I made a soccer game based on it by 1.5 years. Apple rejected the soccer game and told me that they will terminate my account after 14 days, I feel inexplicable, I have never sell this game, I transferred the basketball game to a new account because I don't want to lose it after 14 days.I submited the soccer game again for review by another new account. But it has been rejected by 4.3 spam, ridiculously he said that I dumplicated my own game, because I used to submitted the game by the terminated account. And the new account under investigation.I have not update the basketball game for 6 months,I don't want lost the basketball game if I update it.

What if a game is published by 2 different publisher(different company, different developer account), each will publish the game in a certain region. For example , company A publish English version of the game in USA and Europe, company B publish Japanese version of the game in Japan, and maybe later some company C publish Korean version in Korea. Is this break the 4.3 guideline? Is there any solution?p.s. Apps in different regions have partially different assets ( images/texts/language related contents ) and connect different game servers.
>Wanted to check if there's really a issue - with different bundle idAs that example is specifically called out in 4.3 Spam,my opinion is yes, issue. An while we're on the subject, you are also at risk of violating 4.2.2Minimum Functionality
Because 4.3 is as you note about spam*, not branding per se, first things first**...Did you appeal? If so, what did you say?How many times? How many rejections? What did each rejection say? Were you told to make changes to meta data and not re-submit another build? Were you told to resubmit? And, since this might be about you/your account, and not simply this app, this time. How many apps of this general type have you put in the store so far that are yours for your product? How many apps of this general type have you put in the store so far that are for clients w/their own accounts and their own products?** Note these are simply questions to learn more details about what’s transpired to this point, not suggestions on what you should do next.* • 4.3 Spam Don’t create multiple Bundle IDs of the same app. If your app has different versions for specific locations, sports teams, universities, etc., consider submitting a single app and provide the variations using in-app purchase. Let me try to understand what you are writing. Your app and device is on the market (#1 above) . Now you are trying to get approval for an additional app that interfaces with a similar device marketed by a different company (#2 above where with our own should be with their own). And the additional app has now been rejected under the guideline 4.3. Is that correct? You have two avenues forward -1) create a separate developer account under your clients name and submit the additional app under that account. Be sure that the additional app is really different from the user's perspective.2) (better IMHO) update your current app so that it is a generic app that can be used by either your device or your client's device (or future clients). Under that generic app create two branded options that the user selects. Advertise your device (and have your client advertise their device) as using the well-known generic controller for photo frames.
We have all noticed the big changes Apple has brought with the implementation of the 4.2.6 and 4.3 rules of ASRGs While I believe there is still a lot of stuff to be discussed, I would like to start a discussion regaarding the Enrolling process to Apple's Programs, the complexity of it and the problems it brings to non-technical, small businesses.Apple has decided more or less that it would benefit from having most apps from small businesses to have their own Developer Account and be enrolled to it's Apple programs. This is ok, it's a business decision, they believe that the cost for quality apps and reviews is too high and they found this way to overcome the issue. The real problem though, in my opinion is the difficulty of enrolling to their developer programs, the time it needs to, and the maintainance thereafter. Like many other businesses, we run a software house which built an advanced online ordering system for restaurants. We spent about 4 years in developing our platform and we strongly belie
Well it finally happened to me. I have been waiting for it. I got for rejected for spam, on a new Sudoku App. I have a Calcudoku App. A Nurikabe App. A Kakurasu App. All with the exact same interface. And I uploaded a Sudoku App, and got tagged for similar design Spam. There is ZERO way to combine the apps, unless I want to spend a few years.I can understand how the reviewer rejected it.But the 'spam design' is actually a GOOD thing. Having a similar design for completely different puzzle games add a familarity to the user. SO he / she only has to learn a new game and not a new interface.Obviously these reviewers are not programmers, and they just follow a checklist. Ironically, this is one of my best coded apps. I computer generated Sudoku Puzzles, not an easy thing to do. (They have TED talks on it)There is nothing I can do but appeal. There is no way to fix this. It is really quite depressing. I hope some of these these App reviewers are programmers, and my appeal is accepted.
