Regarding 4.1, I deleted the ranking and text of the title according to your instructions and submitted it. It turned into 4.3(a) spam. How should I deal with it? Why did it become 4.3? As per the Apple review guidelines 4.3, multiple bundle Ids of the same app can be rejected by apple. Can you please confirm if there is any way to appeal Apple to allow more than one app with only change in theme and enabling / disabling few features based on permissions?
I’m attempting to download this update. I’m using an iPhone X to the Series 3 watch and it’s been longer than 120 minutes since the download completed. It’s been sitting at “verifying” for the last 90 minutes and it seems to be stuck there. I’m running all Apple networking and it’s very quick. What‘s a “normal” download and install timeframe?Thank you for any and all help / suggestions
4.3 Spam allegation between early version FREE, Open Source API beta apps and latest version of the PAID app which has contractual PAID API incorporated along with In-App Purchase options. The Reviewers are not accounting for the difference between the free open source API and the paid licensed API. What to do to convince them?
Bear with me, this sounds like an FAQ but my specific situation is a little less frequent.I am working on an architecture in which I have the same front-end (entrypoint Storyboard, `AppDelegate`, top-level `ViewController`, Launch Storyboard, Info.plist, sound & image resources) for multiple apps. That is, I append the app-specific code to the common front-end.So the question is: how best to manage independent development of the front-end and the multiple back-ends. Including SCM. Some ideas:Libraries, static or dynamic - a non-starter because the common code-base includes Storyboards and assets.Completely separate projects, with the individualized apps including (by reference) the common code.Single project, separate targets.Separate sub-projects in a single Xcode Project.Separate projects inside a single Xcode Workspace. One criterion would be how well Xcode and Git[Hub] deal with the separation of code bases. I have had mixed results with Xcode getting out of sync with git. Advice welcome. I've been cut
I have stuck with 4.3 policy for around 1 month. I don't understand Apple reviewer kept hitting me with 4.2 policy without further explain the problem. I do refer to other app and copy some code from stack overflow, how do I know which part is causing the problem. My app provide better soothing sound quality and the UI is all different. Thanks, kindly advise .....
I have an Application in Flutter that receives data from an API on Laravel, and I tried to upload my Application to an App Store and Apple informed me that since I offer Login with Facebook and Google, I also need to offer Login with Apple. So, we tried to implement the login with Apple ID, but we couldn't because of the Laravel version. Our application needs the API on Laravel 5.8, PHP 7.1, Socialite 4.3+. And apple requires a newer version of Laravel and PHP, so we are unable to continue. Can someone help me how to proceed in this case?
Due to our app having different government clearances in each geographical region, we are required to have a different version in each region. While the apps are all fundamentally the same, is there any reason we can't have: OurApp US - available in US OurApp UK - available in UK only OurApp EU - available in EU only While I understand how to implement this, there is concern that the subsequent submissions might be flagged incorrectly by the 4.3 Spam rule. Users would never see more than one version of our app in their region's App Store. Does anyone have any knowledge or experience here? Is this kind of release strategy acceptable?

So I've got a lot of apps that have been consolidated into a container app. Like many of you, I got the 4.3 messages. After some grimacing, I can see the silver lining - for devs, for users, for Apple. But I really wish iTunes Connect would add a forwarding option in our Removed from Sale apps that redirects to the container app. I added a bug-report (feature request) for this already, but I'm hoping more devs ask for this. Reasoning...1. There's gotta be millions of dead app store links already floating around the internet. Why have those links go to this message This app is no longer available in your country's store, when it can just jump to a live app? We can update our own websites, but some blogger that wrote about an app 3 years ago, isn't going to update their links. 2. Its also a dead end for actual App Store users going through their old Purchases. Doesn't need to be. Let us recapture those users. 3. Consolidation was / will be a big ask for many of us. And like I said, I can see the benefi
I am building my 2nd React-Native app which is a very simple Notes app. The functionalities are to be able to add, edit & delete notes. And, on the home page where the user can change the orientation of the notes to be in 2 column like a grid or just a list. My app has been getting rejected for Minimal design guideline & I don't know what to do to make it more complex. My first iOS React-Native app was just a single-page Weather app, again that was pretty simple. So, my question is what do I do? OR is the trick that I just keep doing little changes and try to submit & see which one gets accepted??
Hi guys, The ultimate carnage 2 is the sequel to the ultimate carnage on the app store. Witch is my own games. The game is totally different, it adds many new game modes, graphics and performance improvements. So I don't understand why it was rejected under 4.3 Design spam guidelines. How can I get my game to be accepted ? Thank you!
The FxRemoteWindow API in Fxplug 4.3 does not provide window.frame.origin. How to set a window that can be positioned and sized higher than the motion?
Hi, We have an app live on the App Store since August 2020. We have made some 50+ updates on the app with minor & major changes throughout these 3+ years. A few months ago we submitted an update as usual with some minor changes and a new feature but got 'Design Spam, 4.3' rejection saying: We noticed your app shares a similar binary, metadata, and/or concept as apps submitted to the App Store by other developers, with only minor differences. 1st question, how does an app that has been doing the same things for 3+ years suddenly gets 'Design Spam' ???? Then we sent a message to App Review with some screenshots of our app's update history taken from App Store Connect console and a message stating the same question as above. We got a reply: Hello, Thank you for your reply. During our review, we found that this app duplicates the content and functionality and icon of other apps submitted to the App Store, which is considered a form of spam and is not appropriate for the App Store. Now they mentioned
