WWDC 22 - why when I enrol do I get charged again Developer fees?
I reinstalled the Developer app again in readiness for WWDC22. I have two AppleIDs, one is via my employer and that is already a member of an Apple Developer Team. When I log in with this company AppleID to the Developer iOS app, and then I click the Enroll Now link, I get a message saying the subscription is 98,99€ per year. If I click Continue will I be charged this amount? As I'm already in a developer team I thought this cost was already paid. Can someone confirm the correct behaviour here?

Reply to Scrolling with Apple Pencil does not work in 9.3.
From an Accessibility standpoint, being able to scroll with the Pencil would be ideal for individuals who have limited function of both armss or who have only one arm. I even looked in Accessibility to see if there was an option to turn scrolling on, but nope. I SO hope they bring this capability back, at least as an option. I'm also finding out that within apps, one has to re-learn individual interfaces. In Procreate, for example, one has to now choose brushes with a finger instead of the Pencil. Very inconvienent and unintuitive.

Reply to Having issues authorizing payment for Apple Developer Program
I use this to correct the problem. I think that the problem is the direction of your account, it must be EXACTLY the same as your state account. So: 1, download your latest state account. 2, when you are going to pay in the Apple developers Program, clic edit your information. 3, for me it was in ALL CAPS 4, for me, don't use the department opcional 5, for me, I use the same email and cel that is registered with bank 6, pray for work Note: I use the same account to add funds in the Apple ID, the charge is made by APPLE.COM/BILL and it works with wrong billing information. but when you try to charge in the Apple Developer Program, is charged as APPLE ONLINE STORE, and it has to be the EXACT information as your bank statement. I hope it helps you. Im from Mexico, and excuse my English. Good Luck.

Users Report Getting Charged for Free App
I'm currently running an ad on facebook that uses their native link to the App Store listing for my app. I've had two people comment on the ad that they've been charged for the app. One person said:I downloaded and loaded pictures of all my horses and their info...set out on my daily rides and I will be dam! A message appears on screen to pay up a monthly fee to track my rides. If you stated it was free than make the freakin APP free. I don’t have time for this crap! I will ride without tracking my rides! And then last night someone else said:I was charged 13.90 when I downloaded it and it never stated there was a fee at all. Idk how to get my refund. I stopped the download process but I’m still being charged.I've been in touch with both people via facebook to try to figure out what's going on. My app is set to free, and it doesn't have any in-app purchases. My App Store Connect doesn't show any sales. I don't know what's going on, or what to tell these people. Has anyone else ever experience

Reply to Possiblilty of Wi-fi powering phone battery
Not only is it possible, it is fairly common place. Inductive Charging IS wireless charging.Apple uses it on the Apple Watch. Many phone makers use it as well. As do many manyother products, electric toothbrushes, electric razers, even some consumer goods likeportable radios now use it. The difference is, that for wireless and contact less chargingyou would need a transmitter and a receiver and many more components in both endsof the charging pair. Inductive charging works by essentially splitting the transformer betweenthe two devices and when in close proximity, the two are coupled magnetically. The samecan be done without physical contact but requires much higher voltages and currently muchbulkier materials to do it completely wireless/contactless.Manufacturers don't do contactless charging because the cost to do so is prohibitive. Andyou could not use an aluminum enclosure as Apple does and have it work reliably and safely.

Reply to Charging Issues after Sonoma Upgrade
I just bought a brand new MBP 14 M3 Pro and I have the same problem. Mine occurs when I try to charge via usb-c hub and put my MBP in clamshell. The first time it happened, my laptop was just 3 days old. I brought it to the service center and they couldn't find any reaosn for the error. All ports (usb-c and magsafe) refused to charge even with their cables and adapters. So, they replaced the unit. Now, three days form when I got the replacement, I tried to do the same thing again (charging via usb c hub + clamshell) and it stopped charging again! This is exhausting. Apple, please fix this!

Same behavior on both of my Macs (Air and Pro), they would indicate to be charging but then disconnect from charging in few seconds interval until the m1-Air just died and couldn't charge it anymore. M2 also stopped charging so I sent them both to the service center. Has your charging issue been resolved though?

developer account renewal was repeatedly charged twice and account has been disabled
Hello, my Apple developer account renewal was repeatedly charged twice, and I received successful renewal emails on both occasions, October 17th and December 2nd. The fees were also deducted from my credit card. I sent an email to apple support did not receive a response. Moreover, on December 10th, my developer account was suspended, and the email stated that the renewal failed. May I ask what is the reason for this? Can the account be restored, and can the overcharged fees be refunded? thank you

Reply to iPadOS 15.5 beta 3 incompatible Apple Pencil 2
I am still having the same issue in 15.6 beta. Some users are saying this has been fixed, but I am still unable to use the pencil. Not even when out of the keyboard.

Reply to iPad Air 2 recharge doesn’t work
Yep, same here. I took it into an Apple Repair shop and they are trying to figure it out. They did say they were charging it from an iMac and it was working.

It depends which ID you use. AFAIK, payment is for one Apple ID. If you enrolled for another ID, you will be charged.
