Reply to How to revert back to watchOS 1 - SOLVED!
Historically speaking, its never been super easy to downgrade to an older version unless it's an OS...and even then just hope there wasn't a bios update involved.I think there is good and bad to being early adopters. For me I just have to be a little careful since I don't have a spare watch or iphones to work on. I think the update to Watch OS 2 was probably the guttest thing I've done.

Watch OS 2 Bricks Apple Watch
Hello Everyone,Like many others i installed Watch OS 2 on my Apple Watch a few days after WWDC. Since then the experience of using the Watch was a complete nightmare. I have had many problems including contacts not syncing via my iPhone, not receiving notifications, home screen freezing , the watch running warm against my skin, and worst of all poor battery life. My watch only seem to last 4 hours on a single charge ever since the beta was installed. Even though Apple has not documented a way to downgrade. I decided to try to figure out a solution on my own. I tried many things like downgrading my iPhone to iOS 8.3 to see if I could force a downgrade, nothing happened. I even tried resetting the watch back to factory settings and setting up as a new watch, still nothing happened. The Apple watch app even showed me an alert saying that my iOS was out of date to use the watch. As a final resort i reupgraded my iPhone to iOS 9 just to get the Watch paired up to use, until the next beta

Reply to Do we have to support 3.5 inch screens?
Okay. So in the past, it used to be possible to use a story board dedicated to iPads. Do you know if you can still do that? Right now, I've managed to get everything pretty much up and running on the iPhone, but I do eventually down the line want to make this a Universal application. Again, I want to be able to take full advantage of screen space and the iPhones limit that severely.

Reply to Device Reset Date?
I assume that would be the date on which you could delete test devices registered to that developer account. If you're at your 100-per-year limit, then that is your only chance to remove some old devices to make room for new ones you may need. Any devices you carry over to the next membership year will count against the limit for another whole year. (It seems they have raised it from 100 total to 100 of each type - iPhone, iPad, iPod - but it's still a finite hard limit.)

OS X is nice because its easy to setup and run and cheap! Never had any issues with it here. I'm still running 10.6.8 on my servers for everything and still running strong so far! I just worry about a drive or other hardware giving out at this point.Anything MS to me is a nightmare. They make things more difficult to setup than nessassary and the technet articles give a whole story and give examples how it should be setup but don't really tell you how to do it. Then half the time its wrong in my experiances. Our MS fanboi is trying to setup the latest version of System Center and is having fun with that and getting it to work and hasn't been too happy. I skimmed over the documentation and noticed it even supports OS X, but Munki can do most of what it can so I have no use for it. Along with with Endpoint Antivirus, but again its lacking in any management on the OS X side so dissappointed. With Netboot, Caching, basic file serving, and profile manager I still think OS X server is liable. If Apple would have kep

Test on iPhone 3GS with Xcode 6.
Hi,Is there a device/Xcode version compatibility list? I am trying to build and run an app on an iPhone 3GS to test compatibility with iOS 6 but Xcode 6 is not seeing the connected iPhone 3GS. Will I need to install Xcode 5 alongside the newer version to test on iPhone 3GS? Thank you. Also, I know that not many devices are running iOS 6 anymore so please do not say that I shouldn't support it; some users are still using that version more various reasons and iOS 6 is the earliest version supporting autolayout (which is the only requirement for my project).

Can't delete a iOS 9 iPhone 6 Plus backup on iCloud.
My main goal was to delete the one and only iPhone backup from iCloud. This is a backup created about 2 days ago. iPhone 6 Plus running iOS 9 (beta). Things that I've tried involve:iCloud on multiple devices - Cannot Delete Backup - This backup cannot be deleted at this time. iPhone 6 (8.1.2)iPad Air 2 (8.1.2)MacBook Air (10.11)MacBook Pro (10.10.4)Windows (8.1) <- Using iCloud Control PanelUsing WEB UI on iCloud.comI would sign in and get the ff. message iCloud has stopped responding - An error has prevented this application from working properly...I've talked to apple support and they pointed me to the Apple Developer Program assuming it has something to do with beta.Consistent on Mac OS X and Windows. Safari, Chrome, Firefox BrowsersI would like to know what the Developer Community thinks/knows about this issue I'm faced with. I could just let the backup sit there (its only 97mb) but its not supposed to be like this. Maybe (beta??). Thank you.

Reply to Need Help With WatchKit
On watchOS 2 and iOS 9, you can use the new WatchConnectivity framework to communicate between your iPhone and Apple Watch apps.

Reply to Can watchOS send a local notification?
Currently, you cannot post a local notification on watchOS. You will need to use the WatchConnectivity framework to wake your iPhone app. Then, the iPhone app can post the notification.

Live and learn. I will clearly heed the warning. I will not be able to afford trying beta versions of the OS in the future. I don't have unused duplicate set of devices laying around. I'm completely stuck either without a watch or without an iPhone for development. Very unfortunate.

Reply to How should #EXT-X-MEDIA-SEQUENCE be updated for Iframe Only playlist that use byte ranges?
The EXT-X-MEDIA-SEQUENCE should be 3.You count based on URL lines, not on unique URLs.(Per draft-pantos-http-live-streaming-16 section 4.3.2 Each Media Segment is specified by a series of Media Segment tags followed by a URI.)mediafilesegmenter does support the generation of I-frame playlists (see the --iframe-index-file option).

Open iTunes, highlight your phone, over on the right you'll see Restore button, option or shiftl-click it, and it should ask you for a filename to restore.Cheers!
