Swipe-to-Type Broken in iOS 26 Beta 1 & 2 Siri Typing Mode
I’ve been testing silent Siri engagement via typing on iOS 18 and also on iOS 26 beta 1 and beta 2. While normal typing works perfectly in type-to-Siri mode, I’ve noticed that swipe-to-type gestures don’t work within Siri’s input field. Interestingly, you still feel the usual haptic feedback associated with swipe typing, but no text appears in the Siri text box. Swipe-to-type continues to work flawlessly in other apps like Messages and Notes, so this seems to be an issue specific to Siri’s typing input handler in these betas. Hopefully, it will be fixed in the next release because swipe typing is essential to my silent Siri workflow.

Great battery life iOS 10 Beta 4
Are others experiencing fantastic battery life with the latest beta (4) of iOS 10? I think this is the best so far of any previous versions of iOS based on battery life. I'm really satisfied so far. Hopefully the experience will continue. I am using a 6S if that matters too.

Issue with Adding VPN Configuration on iOS 26 Beta
I am writing to report an issue encountered while testing the iOS 26 beta. It appears that adding VPN configurations is currently not possible in this version. Specifically, attempts to add a new VPN configuration through the Settings app or via programmatic configuration profiles are unresponsive. As VPN functionality is essential for a number of development and enterprise use cases, I would appreciate it if your team could confirm whether this is a known issue, or provide guidance on any changes to VPN configuration handling in iOS 26. Please let me know if additional diagnostic information or logs would be helpful. Thank you for your support and for providing access to the iOS 26 beta. Best regards, Majid

Reply to Keyboard freezing on comment section
Is this with iOS 26 beta? If so, it's a beta; there are going to be issues with third-party apps because they haven't been written to work with iOS 26 yet. It's up to the developers of the TikTok app to update it to work with iOS 26. However, even if they update it, they cannot release the update yet as the final version of iOS 26 has not been released yet. This is one of the things you have to put up with when testing beta software. You can either wait for iOS 26 to be released in a few months' time, or you can downgrade your iPhone to iOS 18.5 and use TikTok as normal.

After iPadOS 26 beta and iOS 26 beta, AVCaptureMetadataOutput no longer detects Face on some devices.
I'm creating an app that uses AVCaptureSession to pass camera input to AVCaptureMetadataOutput type set [metaout setMetadataObjectTypes:@[AVMetadataObjectTypeFace]] and scan Face. After updating to OS 26 Beta2 and iOS 26 Beta2, an issue has occurred where the delegate method of AVCaptureMetadataOutputObjectsDelegate is not called on some devices. The following devices are experiencing this issue. iPad (9th Gen) iPad air (4th Gen) iPhone 15 This issue has not occur on any other devices I have. I tried running the AVFoundation sample code on the Apple Developer site on the above device. The same problem still occurs. https://developer.apple.com/documentation/avfoundation/capture_setup/avcambarcode_detecting_barcodes_and_faces Are any additional settings required after OS 26 beta and iOS 26 beta? Or is there some problem on the OS side?

iOS 26 beta bricked iPhone 16 pro max
Hello, I downloaded the iOS 26 beta update on my iPhone 16 pro max and it bricked my device. After the download was installed the phone never turned on and when I tried to power it on, the charging battery logo came out but the battery was at 97% when the update was finish. I tried to soft reset the phone and several things go power on the device and nothing happened. finally, i took it to the Apple Store today in the morning and they will send out the phone for repairs Which mean they will probably change the entire phones software.

macOS 26 Tahoe beta 1 - Cannot login
A few days ago I installed beta 1 of macOS 26 Tahoe on a spare MacBook Pro 14-inch M4. Everything went well, and it looks okay (well, I don't like it at all, but hey-ho), and I shut it down. I started it up today, and it rejects my login password every time, then locks my account. When I click the link to Restart and show password reset options I'm asked for my Apple ID details, so I enter the correct email and password, then the MBP reboots and I'm back on the login screen with no indication that anything has changed. Guess I'm stuck now... FB18364657

Solutions for Better Battery Life on Beta 1 - Confirmed for Mult. Devices
Update: 6/21/2015 - 3:43 AM PST - Added third step that may resolve certain issues stemming from prior iOS backups restoring to iOS 9 Beta 1.OK we've done our 24 hours of testing and can very safely conclude that all battery life issues accross three different devices included in the test have been entirely resolved and now the devices are not heating up, charging normally, and retaining a normal rate of discharge on standby. In additio, battery use reports within Settings confirm that the Homescreen no longer is consuming a substantial (more than 20%) portion of the average use of total battery power. (devices are normalizing data still, however to ensure none of you suffer this any further here are the necessary changes)1. Completely disable iCloud Backups on each device running iOS 9 Beta 1 (Use iTunes to Backup and restore devices for now.)2. Disable iCloud drive (if you enabled it) on each device running Beta

iOS 26 Developer Beta Issues
Hi, I’ve recently installed the iOS 26 DB, and I’m experiencing heating issues on my iPhone. Is there a fix to this? Also, is it a bug or a feature, that I can’t remove certain sections in the Photos app rather than rearranging them. Pls lemme know. Thanks.

Reply to GKLocalPlayer.authenticateHandler not called on iOS 26 when Game Center auth overlay is shown
Hello, Thank you for your reply. Here are the details we observed: • iOS 18.6.2 (current release): authenticateHandler is invoked consistently — both when the Game Center sign-in UI appears and when the user taps Cancel. • iOS 26.0 beta 1 (first available build): Regression begins here. The Game Center sign-in UI is shown automatically, but pressing Cancel does not invoke authenticateHandler. The app receives no callback. • All subsequent iOS 26 betas (beta 2, beta 3, and the latest beta): Same behavior as beta 1. The issue has been reproducible across every iOS 26 beta so far. • Xcode versions used for testing: • Xcode 16.0 beta 1 with iOS 26.0 beta 1 • Xcode 16.0 beta 2 with iOS 26.0 beta 2 • Xcode 16.0 beta [latest] with iOS 26.0 beta [latest] So the regression is present from
