apple pencil battery life

it’s not just you I’m not having as big a problem but it sounds like alot of you are tho , although I did have that problem about a year ago but it seems since the betas most noticeably when installed beta 3 that’s when I noticed just random bugs I guess is the best way to put it in the pencil because I use the pencil for everything I love it ..... however recently it’s been acting up especially when I’ve been in Safari and things I guess the best way to put it is just are not clicking like they work I was in Pinterest today and I found myself having to use my finger because my pencil was not sensing screen so I I don’t know what’s going on but I use the pencil for everything as well you should be able to use the pencil for everything I don’t know why you can’t to pull up docs the dock and would you turn the top that’s ridiculous but that’s for another time ..I don’t understand why you can’t use Apple Pencil to bring up the dock or bring down your

I am seeing significant issues with battery life, but I guess it is BETA, so I am going to just have to live with that and hope it will improve. All we can do is be good testers and download our battery logs and send them to Apple for looking at.

I recently purchased my first Macbook Pro and I noticed that my battery life would go from 100% to 97-95% within 5 minutes of unplugging it from the power brick. It would take about another 5 minutes to go down another 5%. Today I talked to a technician at Apple and she looked at everything and ran a diagnostic and my battery looked sound. But I was still losing power faster than I thought I would. I ended up upgrading to Big Sur and now my battery life is doing great... actually retaining more percentage than it did when I purchased it! Does anyone know if battery life on a Macbook Pro can be remedied by a software upgrade? I am new to Mac so please educate me! Thank you!

Everyone should file their own bug report for battery life issues. You should never assume someone else's bug is the same root cause for your battery life issues. Thanks!

iOS 11.1 beta 5 had great battery life on my iPhone 7 plus. iOS 11.2 beta 1 has ok battery life so far on the same iPhone.
