Escalation Request – Extended “Waiting for Review” Status
Hello, I would like to request an escalation regarding my app review status. My app (Apple ID: 6758756966) was submitted for review on February 24 and has been in “Waiting for Review” status for an extended period, with no progress so far. I have contacted Apple Developer Support multiple times (Case IDs: 102840237455, 102840079647, 102846664998, 102841727941) starting from March 9, but unfortunately, I have not received any response to any of these requests. I have also submitted three expedited review requests, but none of them have been acknowledged. Could you please: • confirm whether the submission is still active in the queue • check if there are any issues preventing it from moving forward • and assist in escalating the review if possible If any additional information is required from my side, I am ready to provide it immediately. Thank you very much for your time and support.

App stuck in “Waiting for Review” for 10+ days (Case ID: 102845134369)
App Review App Store Connect Hi everyone, My iOS app has been stuck in “Waiting for Review” for over 10 days, and I’m starting to worry there might be an issue with my submission or account. Here are the key timeline details (GMT+7): Feb 3, 2026 – Submitted app → entered Waiting for Review Feb 5, 2026 – App went In Review and was later Rejected by Apple Feb 5 – Mar 2, 2026 – I made fixes and resubmitted Then on Mar 2, 2026: Submitted again → Waiting for Review On Mar 8, 2026: I made several quick re-submissions (Developer Rejected → Ready for Review → Waiting for Review multiple times within minutes) Since then: Mar 8, 2026 → Today (Mar 18, 2026) Status has remained “Waiting for Review” with no progress I have already contacted Apple Developer Support: Case ID: 102845134369 However, I haven’t received any meaningful update yet. My concerns: My app was previously reviewed (reached In Review and got feedback), so it doesn’t seem like a completely new or blocked app. The app itself is relatively simple (no sensitive content, no unusual permissions). I did perform multiple rapid re-submissions on Mar 8 — I’m not sure if that might have affected the review queue. My questions: Could multiple rapid “Developer Rejected → Resubmitted” actions cause my app to be deprioritized or delayed in the review queue? Is it normal for an app to stay in “Waiting for Review” for 10+ days without any status change? Should I: Keep waiting, or Cancel and resubmit again, or Submit a new build version? Is there any way to verify if my app/account has been flagged or requires additional information that is not shown in App Store Connect? I understand that review times can vary, but this feels longer than usual, especially since there has been no transition to In Review. If anyone (or Apple staff) has experienced something similar or has advice on how to proceed, I would really appreciate your guidance. Thank you very much.

App stuck in review for over 6 weeks – no response from App Review
Hello, I’m posting here because I’m experiencing a very unusual issue with the App Store review process and haven’t been able to resolve it through normal support channels. Our app has been waiting in App Review for over 6 weeks, which is far beyond the normal review timeframe. During this period, I contacted Apple Developer Support multiple times and even submitted an expedited review request, but the situation has not progressed. Some of my inquiries have unfortunately received no response, and the app remains stuck in review without any explanation. This delay is now causing serious operational and financial impact for our small development business. We had updates and marketing plans scheduled around this release, but the prolonged review status is preventing us from moving forward. I fully understand that review times can vary, but a 6+ week delay without any status update or communication seems highly abnormal. If any Apple staff or experienced developers have encountered a similar situation, I would greatly appreciate any guidance on how to resolve this or escalate it properly. Thank you for any help or advice.

App stuck in “Waiting for Review” for weeks + no support response
Hello, I’m dealing with an update that has been stuck in “Waiting for Review” for weeks with no progress and no meaningful response from Apple. App details: App Name: Dólar Argentina Apple ID: 6758462259 Bundle ID: com.rgioia.dolarargentina Version: 1.3.0 (update) Timeline: First submission: February 19 → stuck in Waiting for Review I canceled and resubmitted: February 28 Since then → still stuck with zero movement This is almost a month with no review activity. What I already did: Requested expedited review → approved Contacted Apple Developer Support multiple times Followed up several times The only response I got was that the expedited review was accepted, but nothing happened after that. Impact: The app is already live, this is just an update I cannot release fixes or improvements Same version was approved on Google Play in ~20 minutes No rejection, no feedback, no communication At this point, this is not just a delay — it’s a complete lack of review and support. Questions: Is anyone else experiencing this? Is there any real way to escalate this? Could this be an issue with the review pipeline or my app/account? I understand delays can happen, but having zero feedback for weeks, even after an expedited request is approved, is not acceptable. Any help or visibility would be appreciated. — Ramiro

App Update Stuck in Review for 20+ Days
Hello, I am looking for some insight or advice regarding a persistent review delay for an app update. Our app is already live in the App Store, and this submission is a standard update. Timeline & Status: Submission Date: February 21, 2026 Current Status:"Waiting for Review" Total Time Elapsed: 20+ Days Previous Actions: * Submitted an Expedited Review request (No response). Sent two follow-up inquiries via the Contact Us form (No response). Details: App ID: 6755429397 Platform: iOS Issue: We have not received any feedback, requests for information, or rejections in the Resolution Center. Our account is in good standing, and all agreements are up to date. This delay is now causing a significant business impact. We have a scheduled marketing campaign with a spend of over $5,000 that is currently being lost because the update is stalled. Questions for the Community/Apple Staff: Is anyone else experiencing similar multi-week delays for simple updates right now? Are there any known backend issues affecting the queue for February submissions? What is the recommended next step when both the Expedited Review and standard support channels remain silent for over two weeks? We value the App Review process and simply want to ensure our submission hasn't become "stuck" in a technical glitch. Any help or guidance would be greatly appreciated. Thank you.

Guideline 5.1.1 - Legal - Privacy - Data Collection and Storage
I have the issues in this particular guideline: Issue Description We noticed that the app requires users to register with personal information to purchase In-App Purchase products that are not account based. Apps cannot require user registration prior to allowing access to app content and features that are not associated specifically to the user. User registration that requires the sharing of personal information must be optional or tied to account-specific functionality. Next Steps To resolve this issue, please revise the app to not require users to register before purchasing In-App Purchase products that are not account based. You may explain to the user that registering will enable them to access the purchased content from any of their supported devices and provide them a way to register at any time, if they wish to later extend access to additional devices. Please note that although guideline 5.1.1 requires an app to make subscription content available to all the supported devices owned by a single user, it is not appropriate to force user registration to meet this requirement; such user registration must be optional. For this issue, I have revised my app accordingly many times, but it still get rejected even though I believe that I have revised my app accordingly. My app name is Wallpaperlogoart and my app ID

“Waiting for Review” taking weeks recently? Our build has been stuck since Feb 14
Hello everyone, I wanted to check whether other developers have recently experienced unusually long “Waiting for Review” times. Our current submission timeline looks like this: Timeline Feb 14, 2026 – Initial build submitted Feb 14 – Present – Status has remained “Waiting for Review” (never entered “In Review”) Feb 18–19 – Contacted App Review support Feb 24 – Received reply that the case was escalated / expedited Feb 26 – Mar 9 – Continued communication with support; each time they confirmed the app is still in the queue and that they contacted the review team Mar 12 – Still Waiting for Review So as of now, the build has been waiting for review for nearly four weeks without ever entering active review. I’m trying to understand whether this is an isolated case or if others are seeing similar delays recently. Questions: Has anyone else experienced multi-week “Waiting for Review” delays recently? If you had a similar situation, did you eventually receive any explanation from the review team? Any recent data points on review times would be really helpful. Thanks in advance for sharing your experiences.

App Store and TestFlight External Review Stuck in "Waiting for Review" since Feb 9 (5+ Weeks)
Hello everyone, I’m reaching out to see if others are experiencing an extreme delay with the App Store review process. My app has been stuck in the "Waiting for Review" status since February 9th, 2026. What’s concerning is that this isn't just affecting the production build for the App Store, but also a separate TestFlight External Testing submission for another project. Both have seen zero movement for over 5 weeks. Details of the situation: Submission Date: February 9, 2026. Status: Stuck at "Waiting for Review" (never transitioned to "In Review"). Communication: No messages in the Resolution Center, no metadata rejections, and no requests for additional info. Attempted Fixes: I have contacted Developer Support via the "Contact Us" form twice. I received a generic "we are looking into it" response 10 days ago, but no actual progress. Account Status: All agreements (Paid Applications, etc.) are active and signed. I’ve noticed a few other threads mentioned this specific February 9th date. It feels like submissions from that window might have been "ghosted" in the queue. Questions for the community/Apple: Is there a known technical issue with the review queue from early February? For those who were stuck, did "bumping" the version number (e.g., 1.0 to 1.1) actually clear the ghosted status, or did it just put you at the back of another long line? Are there any new 2026 compliance flags (like the new AI disclosure or Privacy Manifests) that could cause a "silent hang" instead of a rejection? Any advice from fellow developers or a nudge from an Apple representative would be greatly appreciated. App ID: 6759763683 (External Testing), 6758399041 (Production Update) Case ID: 102844123144,

App Update Pending for Two Weeks
Hi App Review Team, I would like to raise a concern regarding the review process for our app update (Version 2.0.0), which has now been pending for over two weeks. We completely understand the importance of the review process, but the extended delay is starting to impact our business. This update is not a major change—the app already exists on the App Store, and Version 2.0.0 mainly includes UI improvements. The core functionality remains the same as the currently approved version. Additionally, the app has been rejected multiple times with the status “Information Needed.” We have been promptly providing all the requested information each time, but the repeated cycle is significantly extending the overall review timeline. We kindly request guidance on how to move forward more efficiently, or if there is anything specific we can provide upfront to avoid further delays. If possible, we would also appreciate support in expediting the review. Any help or clarification would be greatly appreciated, as this delay is leading to business loss. Thank you.

App review stuck under “waiting for review” for over a month
Our app's status has been completely frozen for both App Store Distribution and TestFlight. No status changes are occurring, which is preventing us from releasing updates to conduct beta testing. Or upload the app to App Store.  App Details: App Name: Memento - where you’ve been Apple ID of the app:  6758897827 Issue since: February 8, 2026 Current stuck status:  "Waiting for Review" for both distribution and TestFlight  Steps already taken: submitted more then 3 tickets to Apple support (No response) App review expedite ticket . we addressed some issues that could have been causing the delay in distribution (bugs and fixes) and uploaded the app for review again. We made sure any app information were clear in the review draft ( our data usage, features of the app, our privacy policy, support URL ) Given the duration and business impact of this issue, I am requesting that this be escalated to the appropriate review team for investigation. any help would be greatly appreciated

Two apps stuck in "Waiting for Review" for weeks — no response from App Review
Hello, I am reaching out here because I have two iOS apps that have been stuck in "Waiting for Review" status with no communication from the App Review team. App 1: OKIRIZO (Apple ID: 6757417197) First submitted: January 10, 2026 Current submission: February 25, 2026 Status: Waiting for Review (19+ days on current submission, over 2 months since first submission) Multiple resubmissions due to the prolonged wait App 2: TidaKitchen (Apple ID: 6759185372) Current submission: approximately March 11, 2026 Status: Waiting for Review Both are version 1.0 initial submissions for the iOS App Store. There are no messages, no rejection notices, and no feedback in App Store Connect. I have also submitted expedited review requests but have received no response. I understand that review times can vary, but waiting over two months with zero communication is significantly impacting our business. These apps serve local businesses in Okinawa, Japan, and the delays are causing real operational problems for our clients. I have seen many similar reports from other developers in February-March 2026 on these forums. If anyone from the App Review team could investigate, or if fellow developers have found a resolution, I would greatly appreciate any guidance. Thank you for your time.

App in "Waiting for Review" for 32 days — two escalations with no resolution
Hello everyone, I'm reaching out to see if anyone has experienced a similar situation or has any advice. My app "Currot" has been in "Waiting for Review" across multiple submissions since February 8, 2026. Despite following all recommended steps, the review team has not responded. Timeline: Feb 8: Initial submission Feb 11 (04:50 AM): Moved to "In Review" Feb 11 (05:17 AM): Rejected (Guidelines 2.3.6, 5.1.1, 1.2, 5.1.1v) Feb 11 (08:10 PM): All four issues resolved, resubmitted same day with detailed screenshots in Resolution Center Feb 14: Follow-up message sent via Resolution Center — no response Feb 23: After 12 days of no movement, canceled and resubmitted with review notes explaining all resolved issues Mar 4: Developer Support (Case 102831733019) confirmed they notified the review team Mar 9: Follow-up email and phone call requesting escalation Mar 10: Developer Support confirmed they escalated again Mar 12 (today): Still "Waiting for Review" — 32 days since initial submission, 17 days since latest submission Actions taken: Expedited review request Resolution Center messages with screenshots Multiple Developer Support emails and phone calls Two escalations to the review team Account status: No warnings or unresolved items in App Store Connect All agreements active DSA compliance completed The app has been approved on Google Play with no issues I understand the review team is busy, and I appreciate the work they do. However, 32 days without any review — despite two escalations — is significantly beyond normal timelines. I would be grateful for any guidance on whether there is a specific blocker on my submission or if this is a known queue issue. Thank you for your time.

45 days of "Waiting for Review"... What to do now?
The first time that I submitted a review for my app was on February 3, 2026. It is now March 15, 2026. I am at a dead end. I have been told numerous times by Apple support to resubmit and to call back. I have a large waitlist of over 100 users that want access, and I'm only able to let my internal users test because my test flight has also not been approved. I have called Apple numerous times, being extremely respectful and explaining the situation. They then tell me to call back after 48 hours if it is not approved. I then call back and I get the exact same message. I've only had one Apple Support representative truly be honest with me and say wait a week or two because there's a backlog. I then proceeded to call back again, and was told to call back in 48 hours because they'd "expedited" it. I even had once a representative give me his personal information to send him a voicemail to his contact if it hadn't been completed. This then led to a dead end where he didn't respond, never responded to my voicemail, and simply never helped me again. That was a really weird experience because I thought I was going to get somewhere with that representative. This representative told me in particular to resubmit, which put me at the end of the "line" After being told by a different representative that that was bad information to give me. I don't know what to do at this point. I can't do any more development because I know that I've been told that resubmitting puts me at the end of the "line" And also, I'm now getting traction that I can't convert to people actually using the app. As you can see, I've attached my case history, and I'm at a complete loss for what my next move should be because there's clearly no movement, and my app is just simply not getting reviewed. What should I do now? I have attached the case history to show that support is aware of the situation but not helping anymore at this point. Any advice or if Apple sees this... what do I do?!

IAP "in review" prevents requested changes
My app has been rejected, as the IAP description contains the word "free." I am unable to edit the wording because the IAP is still "in review" state even though the submission has been rejected. How can I edit? There' no option to remove just the IAP.
