We are developing an MDM solution.
In addition to the cloud-based version, we are also developing an on-premises version of the MDM solution for organizations such as government agencies and other entities for whom using public cloud services is difficult.
In such cases, regarding the "MDM vendor CSR certificate" to be included in the on-premises package:
Would it be acceptable to use a certificate owned by our company (the MDM vendor)?
Or would it be necessary for the client organization to prepare a new certificate themselves?

Problem
I’m trying to implement Sign in with Apple in my application. However, when my app redirects to the Apple authorization page at:
https://appleid.apple.com/auth/authorize
I get an invalid_client error with no further explanation.
Settings
I followed this article closely:
[https://developer.okta.com/blog/2019/06/04/what-the-heck-is-sign-in-with-apple#generate-the-client-secret]
Steps I have completed:
Created an App ID and a Service ID on Apple Developer Portal.
Enabled “Sign in with Apple” for both the App ID and the Service ID.
Added my domain and callback URL to the Service ID configuration. (I'm using ngrok to proxy my localhost during development.)
Linked an existing private key with “Sign in with Apple” capability.
My identifiers:
Service ID is used as client_id
Team ID is taken from the top right of the Apple Developer dashboard
Key ID is from the private key associated with the App
Environment
My backend is built with Laravel, and I'm using the [SocialiteProvider/Apple][https://socialiteproviders.com/Apple/#installation-basic-usage] library to handle the OAuth flow.
I followed the recommended method to generate a client secret (JWT) for each request, using this blog post:
[https://bannister.me/blog/generating-a-client-secret-for-sign-in-with-apple-on-each-request]
My .env configuration looks like this:
APPLE_CLIENT_ID=com.service.paxton.stockApp
APPLE_TEAM_ID=25729642DK
APPLE_KEY_ID=JFP9Q53ZCY
APPLE_PRIVATE_KEY=storage/AppleDev-AuthKey_JFP9Q53ZCY.p8
JWT Generation
I also tested generating the JWT using the Ruby script from the Okta article:
[https://developer.okta.com/blog/2019/06/04/what-the-heck-is-sign-in-with-apple#generate-the-client-secret]
Here is the script I used:
require 'jwt'
key_file = './storage/AppleDev-AuthKey_JFP9Q53ZCY.p8'
team_id = '25729642DK'
client_id = 'com.service.paxton.stockObserve'
key_id = 'JFP9Q53ZCY'
ecdsa_key = OpenSSL::PKey::EC.new IO.read key_file
headers = {
'kid' => key_id
}
claims = {
'iss' => team_id,
'iat' => Time.now.to_i,
'exp' => Time.now.to_i + 86400*180,
'aud' => 'https://appleid.apple.com',
'sub' => client_id,
}
token = JWT.encode claims, ecdsa_key, 'ES256', headers
puts token
This JWT validates correctly. I’ve also used Apple’s public key to verify the signature, and it passed.
I verified the JWT header and payload format using this helpful article:
[https://fluffy.es/how-to-solve-invalid_client-error-in-sign-in-with-apple/]
Third-Party Testing
To eliminate mistakes in my setup, I even tried a third-party tool featured in this YouTube video:
[https://youtu.be/8v01TaX1EJA?si=0jOBGBVk0R0zbmdo]
Unfortunately, the result was the same — invalid_client.
Question
I’ve double-checked everything I can think of: keys, claims, domain whitelist, identifiers. I even verified the JWT independently.
If anyone (especially someone from Apple) can help identify the missing piece, I would be truly grateful.
I’ve been trying to pay for Apple Developer Program enrollment since decemeber 2024 so now in June 2025 - 6 months of no solutions
We have tried all everything, emailed every possible support on developer website, tried mutliple cards and accounts, withdraw enrolment, re-enroll nothing.
We even spoke to local Apple Head Office to try and get help to no avail.
Customer senior management support even could not help or escalate nothing –
But I don’t know what’s really going on or what to do next
PLEASE HELP US
We are from South Africa

Developer Program
Apple Developer Support stated that they don’t have any technical support for this and suggested posting in the Forums or Feedback Assistant app.
Hoping someone here may have encountered this before and maybe has a fix. On any of my devices (macOS, visionos, watchOS, iPadOS, tvOS, and iOS) Beta Update will not show Developer Beta as an option for my Apple Account/ID. The only option would be Public Beta.
As visionOS is only available for Developer Beta, this wouldn’t help with my workflow unfortunately.
My question is whether anyone here has seen that Developer Beta did not show up under Beta Update and what they had to do to get that fixed.
Why do I can not apply an Apple developer account successfully. I aways meet the error that says 'We are unable to process your request'.
Wow, you are unable to process my request, why? Are you such a coward? You won’t even let me become a developer.
I can't understand why you prevent me from becoming a developer, please give me explain as soon as possible.

It says "You'll receive an email soon" in my Apple Developer app under "Enrol" and it says Pending on my Apple Account on web. I don't understand why such as a small task is such a problematic thing for Apple. Need help understanding what's going on.

We applied for the Apple Developer Program on April 28, and our enrollment has been stuck in review since then — over three weeks now. We have already submitted all required documents, including:
Turkish National ID and Passport
Estonian e-Residency Card
Company registration documents from the Estonian e-Business Register
D-U-N-S number
VAT and Registry information
Detailed explanations as a sole founder and legal representative
Enrollment Case number is 102586593909
We even had a follow-up phone call with Apple Developer Support (Case ID: 102589592062) and were told the submitted documents should be sufficient. I also followed all upload instructions and confirmed that the files were delivered successfully.
Despite all this, we haven’t received any updates, timelines, or specific feedback on what’s missing — if anything at all.
✅ Meanwhile, we’ve completed similar business verification processes with Google, Meta, and Stripe within 48 hours.
We’re trying to launch our app under an officially registered business (Mobisense OÜ), and this delay is affecting our go-to-market timeline and business operations.
🔹 Has anyone else experienced this kind of delay recently?
🔹 Is there a reliable way to escalate or request an actual review update?
Apple, please review this case and help move the process forward.
Thank you.
I'm trying to make my own MDM server and I'm having trouble allowing nginx to proxy the connection. The web app I'm making can accept http requests so I require nginx. I'm using a certificate from letsencrypt.
Every time I try to enroll a phone it instantly rejects at nginx. I have tried multiple cipher options in nginx.
I found the following link and my cert supports all except the DHE ones but they say you only need 1.

What else can I do?

for over 2 months, I have peen trying to purchase apple developer account, I have submitted duns number, they also requested other verification details which I have submitted over 2 months, and I have tried chatting apple support and they keep telling me it under review for more than 2 months, currently they are not replying my chat
I'm trying to create an app that authenticates to Apple Music using MusicKit but whenever I try to build my profile through eas, I am getting this error:
Provisioning profile doesn't include the com.apple.developer.music-kit entitlement.
However, my provisioning profile does have MusicKit enabled.
Hello everyone,
I’m running into an issue when logging into my Apple Developer account on the official site. After entering my Apple ID and password, I immediately see:
too many verification codes sent
At this point I should receive a 6-digit 2FA code via SMS to my trusted phone number, but nothing ever arrives. I’ve waited 10–15 minutes and tried again, but I still get the same error and still no SMS.
I’ve double-checked that:
My trusted phone number is correct in my Apple ID settings.
My carrier isn’t blocking or rate-limiting SMS messages.
I can log in successfully via other Apple services (e.g. iCloud.com) and receive codes there without issue.
Steps to reproduce:
Go to developer.apple.com and click “Sign In.”
Enter Apple ID and password.
Submit credentials → immediately see “too many verification codes sent.”
No SMS arrives. Retrying doesn’t help.
Expected behavior:
Apple sends a new 6-digit 2FA SMS to my trusted number.
After entering it, I can complete the login flow.
Actual behavior:
I receive the “too many verification codes sent” message instantly.
I never get the SMS code, even after waiting or retrying.
Has anyone else experienced this on the standard Developer portal? Is there a way to clear the “too many verification codes sent” flag or otherwise force delivery of the 2FA SMS? Any advice would be greatly appreciated!
Thank you!
I have tried contacting Apple multiple times about a duplicate charge, but I still haven’t received a response. My bank has confirmed that Apple is responsible for processing the refund, yet I have no solution. This is unacceptable. I need an urgent response and my money back immediately. Has anyone else experienced this? Share your stories!

Dear Apple,
I had successfully renew my membership with bellow email
"Your Apple Developer Program membership has been renewed for another year and your membership details are below. We look forward to the innovative new apps you'll bring to Apple platforms."
A few days later, I got another email
After several attempts, we're unable to collect payment using the payment method you provided to renew your Apple Developer Program membership. Your access to the Apple Developer Program has been disabled.
At https://developer.apple.com/account, It displays a button with "Enroll today" instead of "Renew membership". Clicking it show below error
"Your Apple Account is already associated with the Account Holder of a membership."
I've tried getting support from https://developer.apple.com/contact/topic/SC1101/subtopic/30007/solution/select, but no reply after a few days.
PLEASE HELPPPPP, we need this urgently
Hello everyone.
When I try to start the enrollment in the program, I receive the following message: Your enrollment in the Apple Developer Program could not be completed at this time.
Does anyone know how to solve this problem?

Developer Program
Hi,
I need to temporarily add a developer to my Apple Developer account so they can manage Certificates, Identifiers & Profiles and make necessary changes. However, when I add them as a team member through Users and Access, Apple requires them to verify their Apple ID using two-factor authentication (2FA). The problem is that due to regional restrictions, they are unable to receive the verification code, which prevents them from accessing the account.
What I’ve Tried:
I added the developer as a team member under Users and Access in the Apple Developer portal.
They received the invitation email and accepted it.
When they try to log in, Apple prompts them for 2FA verification, but they cannot complete it due to the restrictions.
My Questions:
Is there a way to allow my developer to access Certificates, Identifiers & Profiles without requiring them to verify their Apple ID via 2FA?
Would creating a new Apple ID and adding it as a team member work as a workaround?
Are there any alternative solutions to grant access without sharing my personal Apple ID credentials?
I’d appreciate any advice or best practices on how to handle this. Thanks in advance.
