“smb big sur”

Big Sur is having trouble loading. Once I enter my credentials, the screen just shifts to a colored Big Sur background and nothing else. I’ve left it on this screen and nothing progresses. Every once in a while I get a pop up of “your computer shut down because of problem.” It’ll ask me if I want reload the pages before shut down and I click “open”. Then, nothing happens except the pinwheel for a while. I eventually restart my computer after that. Same process over again. I am running a MacBook Air 2015.

Has anyone tried creating a widget with WidgetKit for macOS Big Sur? I mean a widget for a Mac app. WidgetKit simulator crashes when I try debugging my widget. Same happens when I try running a widget with a new project in Xcode (FB8126474).

I tried downloading the Big Sur Beta 8 from AppleSeed for IT and the Apple Developer portal but it keeps saying Update cannot be found and am unable to get the full installer only an upgrade in certain occasions.

Hi everyone, i've updated my Macbook Pro 2020 16inch i7 to Big Sur 11.1. Since that my SHFT+CMD+5 screenshots are buggy. I use the screenshot of an image section very often. Since the update the screenshot still works but the screen remains grayed out and only the screen section of the screenshot still has normal light colors, although the screenshot process has already been completed. This bug persists until you either restart or log off the user and log in again in macos. Anyone else noticed that? Greets, Peter

Hey, I have been running the Big Sur beta on my work MacBook which is a 15” and recently updated to the latest version of Big Sur. It worked great. Today I upgraded my personal computer a MacBook Pro 16 inch but it keeps crashing. I noticed there was an issue in an earlier beta version. Is this issue still happening? If so how have you fixed it?

Hello Using. MacMini 2019 model I upgraded to Big Sur and one monitor is blank. Had no problems with Catalina at all. So looks like a OS issue. Can anyone suggest a solution? or Have I got to revert to Catalina? KM

when i try to install big sur (it IS the newest beta btw) it says BIErrordomain error 2 when i try to pick a disk. please help or make a new beta

Hi all. IM need help with Big Sur Beta 4, because in betas 1 and 2 the drivers pack from third party like epass2003 Feitian Technology works nice and recognize until update for Beta 4. Is that possible copy or replace some files in system like /usr folder to recognize again this midia? If there a way, please im need help. Im not advanced user. Im think is Java problems and missing dylib files on Big Sur beta 4.

I've found something thing macOS Big Sur broke - the recovery after changing display sources. Let me explain... I have one big 4K monitor, connected to both my Mac (USB-C) and my PC (HDMI). I switch between the two sources on the monitor depending on what I'm doing. Each computer also has its own dedicated monitor (built-in for my Macbook, an old external for my PC). Prior to macOS Big Sur, if I switched to the PC input on the monitor, all the macOS windows would shift over to the built-in laptop display, and then shift back to their correct window once I switched back. They no longer do that. The application all stay on the laptop screen and the big screen is empty when I switch the source back on the monitor. I then have to move everything back to the big display. I guess that's better than the PC behavior where even if you switch the source on the display back to the Mac, Windows still thinks its connected and continues to extend the display (t

I see the ASCredentialIdentityStore class is also available on macOS Big Sur. But it doesn't seem to be used anywhere. Identities stored here on iOS appear on QuickType bar, on macOS I was kind of expecting them to appear has suggestions on the context menu for Password AutoFill. Is this planned for inclusion on Big Sur, or should I just ignore this API?

I have a Late 2015 iMac with 32 Gig of RAM. I am attempting to download macOS Big Sur Beta 5 and the Software Update stops at preparing macOS Big Sur Beta 5 (about 2/3). It has been stuck for about two hours. Is there anything that can be done to complete the download and install the beta?

Hi, I have a problem with my Big Sur - Data partition. I have 512GB Macbook Pro 2020 and recently I get notification that my disk is almost full. When I checked it in Disk Utility I noticed that my Big Sur Data APFS Volume have just 150GB. I also don't know why the name of Image Snapshot partition stayed as MacOS Catalina. Is there a way to change the size of my Big Sur - Data Volume or is it better to make a copy and reinstall everything from scratch ?
