I am using mapkitJS to integrate a map on a website. I have set up the token etc and it WAS working. Now its suddenly stopped working and the error I get is{error:{message:vendorkey not specified,details:[]}}What is the vendorkey and do I specify it?Thanks in advance

I am frustrated using ios9 and serching for places and then having the google web app open and ask me if I want it to load? Apple Maps, should load!It's a real pain.I suggest a new option to reroute search results from the serch to Apple Maps.Thanks.

Why don’t you guys add a weather feature into your Apple Maps? It’s simple really, let’s say you take set up your maps and it’s set to the location you’re going too and you can check how the weather will be like during said trip. Allowing users to prepare accordingly. I think it’s a great idea that can be incorporated into Apple Maps and all I ask in return is 5% of all profits.

We are building a store locator and have an area to search for stores around your location. The user inputs their address/zip code and we utilize apple maps geocoding to convert to a latitude/longitute.What is the limit for the number of requests we can make? Is it per device or from our app?

Recently I have updated my mobile version to iOS 18, since the day maps are not working in Apple Car Play since the update. The car display shows the message directions are not available in your location. Before the update it was working perfectly fine.

I asked a question similar to this earlier, but I think this is probably the better question. I have a food-ordering app. When the user wants to pick up food, I'd like for Apple Maps to automatically display the location of the restaurant that the user is driving to. Calendar does something similar. If there is an event that is soon, the location in the calendar-event shows up in Apple Maps. I'd like to do the same thing. So, when the user makes an order, they'll need to drive to the location fairly quickly. So, I'd like to launch Apple Maps, see the location of the restaurant where I'm picking up food, and then get directions to it. Bonus points if this also works when I have CarPlay.

Hi, Our Apple Maps integration has been working normally for years, but starting today, newly created Maps tokens suddenly became unusable. Tokens created from the Apple Developer backend now return 401 Unauthorized everywhere we test them. We can reproduce this in: our own code Apple’s Try Maps Server API page MapKit JS So this does not appear to be limited to our app code. We also tested through a US network entry point to rule out a mainland China network issue, but the result was the same. At the moment, Maps tokens created in the backend seem to be unusable in all cases on our side. Has anyone else seen this today, or is there any known issue affecting Maps token creation or validation? Thanks.

Question: Does anyone have experience or documentation on how to get an App Clip to show on Apple Maps for a location? What I've tried: I have tried to associate my App Clip with an Apple Maps location. We are working with a physical restaurant that has an Apple Maps location, our full app is listed there but not the App Clip. I've gone through the steps of setting up the Advanced App Clip Experience and giving it the location we want it associated with, and have gone through Apple Business Connect and done all the setup there to get the full app to show with the location, but the app clip still does not show. I've contacted Apple Support and they gave me the criteria of The App Clip is hosted within the app and The app is associated to the same physical location. When asking for clarification with the first criteria they said they could help and closed the chat.

Hii all,First, I'm working on create maps navigation App using Apple Maps. This maps will show line for specific route. The problem is that possible to show Turn By Turn direction flags just for Turn Left or Turn Right etc so i can show the image for the direction. Because based on my code bellow, in the response i just found Instruction field that contain full instruction sentence like Turn right onto ABC Street. So i cannot get only direction for showing the image.If i see on google maps direction API, the results have field name Maneuver thats contains only Trun-left sentences. Yesterday i saw the presentation of the new ios9 app, where they talk about an application focus on transit maps in wich i have some information. I would like to know if i can colaboratte in the development of this applicantion. Thank you, Carina.

I noticed that when searching for restaurants in the Apple Maps app, some restaurants have an Order button. In one of the cases that I looked at, it launches Yelp. If I were to build an app for a specific restaurant, and that restaurant offered takeout ordering within the app, then I'd rather have Apple Maps launch my app, instead of Yelp. How would I do that? Having trouble finding the APIs for this. I still would like the Order button right there, as it's very useful. I'd just rather it launch my app (assuming it's installed on the user's device).

I just connected a new wireless apple extended keyboard to my macbook pro Mac OS 10.15 and it doesn't seem to recognize that it is an extended keyboard, so the key mappings are incorrect. I have searched keyboard preferences and even tried setting US Extended Keyboard but none of these fix the problem. I also brought up the virtual keyboard and don't see it reflect the extended keyboard (is this expected behavior?)
