I want to use DatePicker to select dates from Before the Common Era (BCE) all the way to future dates. When I select a date in DatePicker and extract the DateComponents for dates prior to the adoption of the Gregorian Calendar, the month and day appear to be more consistent with the old Julian Calendar. This is not what I expected ... the documentation states that if Gregorian is specified as the calendar, a proleptic Gregorian Calendar will be assumed. This does NOT appear to be the case. The docs also state that ten days were removed from the Gregorian Calendar. I understand the differences between the old Julian Calendar and the Gregorian ... but for instance, when I select 3/10/1500 on the DatePicker and extract the DateComponents, the MONTH is shown as 2 and the day as 29. In a Julian Calendar that makes sense ... but in a proleptic Gregorian calendar, I should never be able to have a Feb 29, 1500: That is NOT a leap year in the Greg

If you use OS X Calendar with Exchange, please dupe this enhancement radar. Thanks!Summary:OS X Calendar does not allow an Exchange user to set their default calendar sharing permission.This functional gap in OS X Calendar is an important omission for a calendar application on Exchange. If a user needs to change their default calendar share in the organization (whether more restrictive or permissive), the user must instead move to Outlook Web Access, Outlook for Windows, or MacOutlook. At my organization of 300, a senior executive asked staff to change their default sharing permissions from “Free/Busy” to “Free/Busy, Title, Subject, and Location”. As a multiplatform organization, a number of staff use Macs, with Mail and Calendar. These folks are unable to accommodate the request with their preferred native tools. So far as I know, OS X Calendar has never offered this functionality on Exchange.

Calendar does not update with new meetings coming from Exchange. It shows all existing entries, but does not recognize/add new inviitations.-Horen

Phone on 9.0GM (13A340), Watch on WatchOS 2 GM (13S343). No calendars (iCloud or Exhcange) are syncing. New appointments freshly added don't sync to watch. Removing the calendars entirely from the iPhone and re-adding them back adds to the phone but still does not sync to watch. Watch restarted, Phone restarted - no change in behavior, no calendar data on the watch. Calendar settings in Watch App are Mirror my iPhoneWatch App >> General >> Reset >> Reset Sync Data does nothing.Re-paired Watch and setup as new: no fix.All other watch syncing (contacts, mail, etc.) seem to be working fine. Any ideas? Any others with similar behavior?

Hello all,Even though my mail is now working in exchange, and calendars/contacts/reminders are checked off, I do not see any of it in El Capitan. Anyone else seeing this?

I want to create a link with the event detail and send that link to user in text message after that user can save that event in the apple calendar by clicking that link.Is there any solution for this?

I regularly update my shared calendar on iOS 11. It syncs with my iPhone and iPad both running iOS 11 but my friends and families calendars on iPhones and iPads (which are all non-iOS 11) are not being updated. Any ideas of a work around?

I am unable to add events in calendar inside my app.In iOS 10.2.1, unable to see EKSourceTypeLocal in the EKEventStore sources whenever there are other calendars present in the iPhone such as Exchange,iCloud.So unable to add events in the calendar present in the app. It is working fine for iOS 10.1.1. I am able to see the local calendar and add events.Anyone facing the same issue and could suggest solution for it would be deeply appreciated.

I use the calendar on iOS to run my business activitys. What i think would be useful is priority colour markings to show if an event is urgent or not.

I have 2 apps that have been running in Sierra. Both require access to the calendar. Both work with no issue under Sierra. Now I have compiled both under Catalina. While the one still works, the other does not appear in the Settings/.../Calendar. I don't see any option to add my app to that list. Resource Access for Calendar is ticked. The only difference between those apps is that one is has a GUI while the one not working is made for the menu bar.What now?

Hi!I'm currently using watchOS2 and iOS9.0.2 on my iPhone 6S. Despite having multiple events on every week and having my calendar complication showing the correct next event start hour, when entering the Calendar app on my Watch, I'm always getting No events this week.This started to happen after DST has started here in Brazil. Can this be the root cause?I was also suffering for poor overall perfomance on my Simple watchface, when using the calendar complication. Removing it fixes the problem, but a resync solved it keeping the complication in place.

Ok, so I know how to change my geographical location so it displays Canadian holidays in the Calendar app. But, my question is, why do I not have the option to choose which specific holidays are displayed?I find it extremely frustrating having all the extra holidays that don't pertain to my geographical location cluttering up my Calendar view. It would be really nice to have an extra tab to select which province I reside, or the ability to turn on/off specific auto generated holidays, or the ability to edit the calendar holiday and delete it (and further events).

I've noticed that some events on my calendar will show up a custom app instead of a phone number, so when you tap it they will redirect you to the app and join the meeting. How can I achieve this? Do I need to register a custom scheme? or should I change something on the invite itself? I've upgraded to WatchOS 2 (13S5254w) and I'm unable to see my Gmail calendar events on my watch. I can still see my iCloud calendar events, but not any third-party calendar.On my iPhone 5 (iOS 9 beta), I can see all the events from my different calendars just fine.I have already added the UUID of both my iPhone and Watch to the developer devices list. And I have tried restarting both devices. I have also tried removing/adding the calendar glance, and customizing the calendar glance. But nothing seems solve my issue.
