Reply to My Game is Rejected (Has Unique Features and Art Style) - Guideline 4.3(a) - Design - Spam
My game was also rejected with a 4.3 rating without any reason. I spent a long time developing it and tried countless ways to appeal, but all of them were mechanically replied with a 4.3 rating without any reason. I watse lots of time on Apple. My game currently has thousands of DAUs per day on Google and a rating of 4.7. It's ridiculous that it can't even be listed on Apple. Independent developers should give up Apple. I feel discriminated against.

App Review rejected due to Guideline 4.3(a) - Design - Spam
Hello everyone, We’re facing an ongoing issue with our app being rejected under the 4.3(a) Spam guideline, and we’re hoping the community can offer some advice on how to resolve it. Our app is a free sports application that provides real-time score updates. It also features commentary from several top contributors and journalists. We offer exclusive features that are completely original—we don’t replicate or borrow any designs or functionalities from other apps on the App Store. Additionally, the app includes games that we have personally researched, designed, and developed from scratch without using any third-party libraries. We were flagged under 4.3(a) Spam after a very minor update, which primarily focused on fixing some interface-related bugs. Despite these minimal changes, our app was rejected under the Spam guideline. To address this, we have sent detailed information to Apple Review, including our development roadmap, screenshots of design versions, and even git logs to demonstrate t

Repeated Rejection Due to Guideline 4.3(a) – Need Help Understanding the Issue
Hello everyone, We’re currently facing an issue with getting our app, approved in the App Store. The app keeps getting rejected under Guideline 4.3(a) with the explanation that it appears too similar in concept, binary, or metadata to other apps on the App Store. We’ve responded to Apple multiple times explaining that: -Our app is built from scratch with unique design and code. -We do not use any templates or prebuilt frameworks. -The app offers real-time support and a working, stable VPN connection. -Notifications are limited to rare, essential updates. -Metadata (title, description, keywords, screenshots) were crafted individually. -We’ve also thoroughly reviewed the App Review Guidelines, the Human -Interface Guidelines, and the Apple Developer Program License Agreement, and we believe our app fully complies. However, we continue to receive the same general rejection response, without specific feedback on what exactly needs to be changed. We’ve requested clarification from the App Review team, but

Guideline 4.3- Spam- Can’t Get Resolved- Help!
Hello, we have been having huge problems with guideline 4.3- Spam. We submitted our App just fine and it has been rejected on the update. We have responded multiples time with no help.Their original response was:“We noticed that your app provides the same feature set as other apps submitted to the App Store; it simply varies in content or language, which is considered a form of spam” and ”When creating multiple apps where content is the only varying element, you should offer a single app to deliver differing content to customers. If you would like to offer this content for purchase, it would be appropriate to use the in-app purchase API”.We kindly explained to them our app has been created in-house with a team of over 15 developers. We did not use a template. We also attached our copyright for them. Not only this, but we only have 1 APP in our developer account. We have heard of developers being rejected with tons of APPS but we only have 1! We have double checked our description and keywords too and

App Review rejected due to Guideline 4.3(a) - Design - Spam
Hello, My app was recently rejected due to App Review Guideline 4.3(a), which states: Don’t create multiple Bundle IDs of the same app. If your app has different versions for specific locations, sports teams, universities, etc., consider submitting a single app and provide the variations using in-app purchase. The feedback provided was: We noticed your app shares a similar binary, metadata, and/or concept as apps submitted to the App Store by other developers, with only minor differences. Submitting similar or repackaged apps is a form of spam that creates clutter and makes it difficult for users to discover new apps. This has left me quite confused. I have only one app, Fly2enjoy, which I originally uploaded on Android and am looking to upload it also to iOS. I don't have any other active apps on the Apple App Store. The app was developed with the intention of being unique, and I have not repackaged or copied another app. Additionally, I only have one Bundle ID associated with my app. On Android, th

Bizarre situation involving 4.3 guideline and app that cannot be deleted
I've exhausted all avenues getting this resolved; so I'm posting this here mainly to document the absurdity of what happened, and as a warning to other developers. We built an app that was rejected because of its name. We happily renamed the app, creating a new app record because we also wanted to rename the SKU and Bundle ID, and you can't do this any other way.Big mistakeNow there are two factors combining to put us in an impossible situation. The little-known, bizarre limitation of iTunes Connect that An app that has never been approved can never be deletedThe improper enforcement of the 4.3 guideline such that Similar apps you have submitted in the past apparently includes apps that were rejected and are not on the App Store. So now, our New Name app is being rejected for being too similar to our Old Name app. And the Old Name app can't be deleted because it was never approved. To make matters worse, thanks to inconsistent enforcement, our New Name app actually was approved in its first version (1.0)

Seeking Clarity on App Rejection: Understanding Specific Issues with My Game Under Guideline 4.3(a)
Title: Seeking Clarity on App Rejection: Understanding Specific Issues with My Game Under Guideline 4.3(a) Message: Hello Apple Review Team, I recently received a rejection for my game Super Flappy Rocket under Guideline 4.3(a) regarding spam applications. I understand that flappy-style games might be a crowded category, but I've put significant effort into creating unique gameplay mechanics and visuals. I would appreciate more specific guidance on which aspects of my app triggered this rejection: Is it the core tap-to-navigate mechanic that's considered too similar to existing games? Are there specific visual elements or UI components that need differentiation? Would enhancing my existing unique features (gravity-flipping, spacecraft unlocking system, power-ups) be sufficient? Is the app's name Super Flappy Rocket part of the issue? I've developed this game from scratch without templates or purchased code, and I'm committed to making necessary changes to meet App Store guidelines. Any addit

App Rejected for Guideline 4.3(a) - Need Help Differentiating My App
Hi everyone, I recently submitted my app, X2, to the App Store, but it was rejected due to guideline 4.3(a) - Design - Spam. The rejection message stated that my app shares a similar binary, metadata, and/or concept as other apps I’ve already submitted, with only minor differences. They suggested I review my app concept and submit a unique app with distinct content and functionality. For context, I have another app, X1, which was accepted and is live on the App Store. X2 is meant to be a different version of the same app, targeting a unique audience. It has the same core features but includes a completely redesigned user interface, a new name, and a new logo. I overhauled all the screens in X2 to give it a fresh look, but it was still rejected. I’ve reached out to App Review via the Resolution Center, but their response was fairly generic, emphasizing the need for distinct content and functionality. I’m now turning to the community for advice. What specific changes can I make to X2 to ensure it’s uni

Rejected because of 4.3 (a) spam
Hello. I've been struggling to get through the app review. It's been 3 months of constantly improving and adding new features to the app and getting rejected. A week ago i got a call from apple review team, and they said that my app shares the similar binary with other apps. They don't tell the specififcs or details. My app is a vpn app that is written by me in flutter. The only native code i have is a library that i use to work with vpn. I changed the entirity of the library, but still can't get pass. Although, the only think left is the xray-core (https://github.com/XTLS/Xray-core) framework that implemented as .xcframework to use vless protocol. Does apple check .xcramework for similarity? i can't rewrite the framework, because it written in a go language.

Continous 4.3 (a) Spam rejection
I built an app which is a modern twist on a game called Reversi. My app is fundamentally different than the original game because it adds a different game dynamics (a point scoring version and a puzzle mode). Not to mention, it is free and ad-free for users. However, my app continues to get the same boiler plate rejection from Apple. I understand Apple wants to reduce the number of similar apps and also prevent spam, however it is disappointing they take no time to read my responses or provide more information on what the issue is. It's a disappointing experience as a developer, as all of the effort I've put into this app feels like a gamble with Apple as they don't take my submission seriously. Also, the app reviewers have not answered any of my questions through the mail. Unsure of how to continue. If Apple is going to reject an app merely on concept there should be a way to do that before someone spends the time finalising and polishing the game.

An already live app for 3+ years suddenly gets 'Design Spam, item 4.3' rejection !!!
Hi, We have an app live on the App Store since August 2020. We have made some 50+ updates on the app with minor & major changes throughout these 3+ years. A few months ago we submitted an update as usual with some minor changes and a new feature but got 'Design Spam, 4.3' rejection saying: We noticed your app shares a similar binary, metadata, and/or concept as apps submitted to the App Store by other developers, with only minor differences. 1st question, how does an app that has been doing the same things for 3+ years suddenly gets 'Design Spam' ???? Then we sent a message to App Review with some screenshots of our app's update history taken from App Store Connect console and a message stating the same question as above. We got a reply: Hello, Thank you for your reply. During our review, we found that this app duplicates the content and functionality and icon of other apps submitted to the App Store, which is considered a form of spam and is not appropriate for the App Store. Now they mentioned
