Hi, my name is Carina and i'm a Design and Multimedia student. In the last year i´ve been developing a new transit map for Coimbra City, in Portugal. Yesterday i saw the presentation of the new ios9 app, where they talk about an application focus on transit maps in wich i have some information. I would like to know if i can colaboratte in the development of this applicantion. Thank you, Carina.

The WatchKit Programming Guide is out-of-date, as it still refers to the old architecture, talks about communitcating the iOS app via openParentApplication(_:reply:), and using App Groups to share data etc. Will this be updated soon to reflect all the changes in watchOS 2.0?

I've seen several stories posted in 2014 that Apple looked like they were going to allow developers to generate promo codes for in app purchases.http://www.macrumors.com/2014/05/15/developers-promo-codes-in-app-purchase/But I haven't seen any evidence of this. I have a free app with a subscription model using non-renewing subscriptions to access the data.I would love to be able to offer a free trial of a couple days like Android IAP allows so that users can see what is to offer, or barring this, a promo code to a subscription. From what I can tell, Apple does allow trials for auto-renewing newsstand apps, but ours doesn't fit that. And somehow EA got permission to give out IAP promo codes, but us smaller developers don't have that option.
Yes. Same behavior here for all the pre-release links. On hold with Apple Developer support. Will post any results shortly.

I don't believe Apple actually manages the map data. If you look at the current Maps on iOS 8, you'll see an 'i' icon, lower right...tap that to view the source companies, etc.

Good morning! While I am thrilled to see Apple open up access to many areas of WatchOS and WatchKit, I was wondering - Am I missing something? They announced access to the Digital Crown and Accelerometer, has anyone seen mention of access to the gyroscope in the device?Let me know if I am blind...
Hi there, definitely looks like there is a gyroscope from Apple's specs. Scroll down to Features:https://www.apple.com/watch/apple-watch-sport/silver-aluminum-case-green-sport-band/

It's a known issue (they've received several reports). Apple is working on a fix.

Hi ! Yep you're missing it 😉 native apps are always linked to an parent iOS app for now. what's native is that watchkit code is now executed on watch. so it's the same way that before, Apple does the Job.what you have to do is call Webservices via the watch kit app for exemple. instead of calling the parent app.

Got it!Copy your redemption code from the El Capitan download link.Open the App Store and make sure that you're signed in with your Developer Program Apple ID.On the Featured page, under Quick Links (on the right hand side of the page), click on Redeem.Insert your code and click Redeem. If it tells you that it's unavailable, just keep clicking (rapid fire style). This worked for me and OS X 10.11 is downloading now.

I was seeing the same problem. I was able to open the accounts tab in Messages and update the password there. It seems has if Apple has then pushed the new password system wide, as I am no longer getting the error message that my Mac couldn't connect to iCloud. Hope that works for everyone else too!

I have tried to test an iOS application I have been busy creating over the last few weeks on my iPhone. I used Xcode 7 and iOS 8.4 beta for this, since Apple advertised testing without a developer membership subscription on the information site about Xcode 7.As stated there, I downloaded Xcode 7 and simply logged in in the Xcode Preferences. Now, when I connect my iPhone it shows up in the devices list, but with (unavailable) behind its name, and when I try to start the app it tells me, the Developer Disk Image could not be found.I would really love to be able to try my app in real before subscribing, please help! 🙂
I did a resync and it worked for me:Go to the Apple Watch app on your iPhoneGeneralResetReset Sync DataWait for a few minutes and it should come back up.
