Hello, I am facing a recurring issue during the review process of my app, FlexicX, and I am struggling to understand the exact concerns raised by the App Store Review Team under Guideline 4.3. Each time I submit my app, I receive a response stating that it duplicates the content and functionality of other apps already on the App Store and is therefore considered a form of spam. However, no specific examples or comparisons are provided to help me understand which parts of my app are considered problematic or why. I submitted an appeal over a week ago but have not received any substantive response. Each time I contact support, I receive nearly identical replies, reiterating that the app duplicates functionality, but no clarification is given as to what exactly they believe is duplicated. This lack of detail is incredibly frustrating and makes it feel like the guidance is to simply “throw out the app and remake it,” which is neither realistic nor fair. FlexicX is a highly innovative game that has alread

I also just got my container app rejected for 4.3... They tell you to create a container app and then they reject it... So expect it to be rejected. I had to submit to the review board because I know they will not read my comment. Good Luck

Assuming you are a registered MFI developer then the spec for the QR code is documented in the HomeKit Accessory Protocol Specification - in version R15 of that spec it is in section 4.3. You can download the spec from the MFI website when you log in on your account.

Hello, it would be considered as spamming. Check out section 4.3 in the review guidelines. 4.3 Spam Don’t create multiple Bundle IDs of the same app. If your app has different versions for specific locations, sports teams, universities, etc., consider submitting a single app and provide the variations using in-app purchase. Also avoid piling on to a category that is already saturated; the App Store has enough ****, burp, flashlight, and Kama Sutra apps already. Spamming the store may lead to your removal from the Developer Program.

The version I submitted is 1.0.1, and the build is 105. I only added features and optimizations to the original version, so it is judged as 4.3. Did the review compare my 1.0 version as a duplicate value

After installing Beta 3 tonight found that Crashplan is borked. The UI is totally unresponsive and unusable. Suspect it has something to do with the Apps Java dependence. It seems to continue to run backups but nothing with the UI works. I've seen a few forums in which folks are saying it does work but I'm not sure that is really the case. I've submitted diagnostics logs, and information to Apple and Crashplan. Recommend those experiencing the same problems report through the proper support channels.
my Chinese Chess Game be rejected 2 times. the reason: We continued to notice that your app provides the same feature set as other apps submitted to the App Store; it simply varies in content or language, which is considered a form of spam. What I'm more curious about is where is the measurement standard for this sentence? According to this reply same feature set as other apps , should APPLE STORE have only one chess games, and the others are considered spam? but why there are so many Chess game there? do they have different features? based on that reply, I think, I am not a chess player. or I am not playing IOS chess game. my APP should be the strongest AI already. have Large End Game Database for play. have self define board for play With AI. any suggestion of make different features set?
Hi, I have a VPN app that was developed using Flutter, and all of the codebase was created on our own. We are not using any code templates or etc. However it constantly gets rejected due to this reason. My suspicion is that I was originally developing this app using another developer account, and we had submitted it to TestFlight before. If I remove this app from my older account, would it still be considered as a duplication of existing app?

Hello, please someone help me this outrageous i worked so hard on this game for many months and payed apple developer fee to get my app Rejected for being spam which is completely FALSE my app genre is endless runner which is very popular and have a lot of apps but my story is original my music is composed by a professional musician specifically for my game, the UI designed by ME, yes my control mechanics is the same as many apps—this is expected due to genre standards, not duplication. The presence of similar controls codes does not automatically make a game spam. If this logic applied broadly, many top games on the App Store would be at risk of the same guideline violation, Yes i did use some free to use commercially Unity assets (which is entirely permitted under Apple’s policy), i have customized and integrated them meaningfully into the game, so how is this spam?

Hello, My app was rejected because of App Review Guideline 4.3(a). The guideline says: Don’t create multiple Bundle IDs of the same app. If your app has different versions for specific locations, sports teams, universities, etc., consider submitting a single app and provide the variations using in-app purchase. The original answer is: We noticed your app shares a similar binary, metadata, and/or concept as apps submitted to the App Store by other developers, with only minor differences. Submitting similar or repackaged apps is a form of spam that creates clutter and makes it difficult for users to discover new apps. I am very confused. I just bought a Mac and iPhone and ported my Android app Travel Trivia from Weltraumerei to iOS. So I don't have other apps in the Apple App Store. I created my app all by myself and did not repacked another apps or similar procedure. I have only one bundle id. There is one app with a similar concept in the store which unfortunately has the name Travel Trivia. So I ren

We recently received feedback under Guideline 4.3(b) suggesting our app duplicates functionality found in other apps in this category. However, our app is fundamentally not a dating app. It is a conversation facilitator designed to foster meaningful connections for friendships, networking, and shared interests. While romantic connections may occur naturally, they are not the primary focus. Thus, we are seeking insights on this key question: How do developers effectively demonstrate feature differentiation to reviewers? We want to clearly show how our app’s functionality uniquely addresses user needs and provides value beyond existing solutions. Our Core Features: Our app introduces distinct features that differentiate it from traditional apps in this space: Paths: Psychology-based prompts embedded in chats encourage users to explore meaningful topics like values and aspirations. These prompts are dynamically triggered to keep conversations engaging and productive. Aura: A rewards system that incentiv

App Submission
Hello Apple Developer Community, I hope this message finds you well. My app submission was recently rejected under Guideline 4.3(a) due to the App Review Team's determination that my app shares similarities in binary, metadata, and concept with apps submitted by other developers, with only minor differences. The feedback I received stated: We still found that your app shares a similar binary, metadata, and concept as apps submitted to the App Store by other developers, with only minor differences. Since we do not accept spam apps on the App Store, we encourage you to review your app concept and submit a unique app with distinct content and functionality. I have already made significant efforts to differentiate my app by implementing unique features and functionality tailored to my audience. However, I’d like to better understand: What specific aspects of my app might be contributing to the similarity concerns? How can I further highlight the unique features and functionality of my app to meet Apple's
