Reply to One app, multiple brand
Hello, it would be considered as spamming. Check out section 4.3 in the review guidelines. 4.3 Spam Don’t create multiple Bundle IDs of the same app. If your app has different versions for specific locations, sports teams, universities, etc., consider submitting a single app and provide the variations using in-app purchase. Also avoid piling on to a category that is already saturated; the App Store has enough ****, burp, flashlight, and Kama Sutra apps already. Spamming the store may lead to your removal from the Developer Program.

Struggling With Guideline 4.3(b) Rejections – Would Love Dev Insight
Hey everyone, We recently submitted our new dating app, Rove Dating, and it’s been rejected under Guideline 4.3(b) — “Design: Spam.” I’d really appreciate your insights, especially from anyone who’s faced something similar or has experience getting nuanced apps approved in a saturated category. Before building Rove, we spoke to dozens of users of existing dating platforms. We consistently heard the same thing: people are deeply dissatisfied with current apps. They’re overwhelmed, burned out by swiping, and frustrated by endless choices and low-quality interactions. It became clear that the problem isn’t that there are “too many” dating apps — it’s that most aren’t adapting to how people actually want to date in 2025. We designed Rove to address those pain points head-on, with a totally different approach to matching, message limits, and emotional safety. We believe our app meaningfully improves the dating experience — but we’re having trouble getting that across in the review process. Below is the ex

1.0 Information Request and your app does not comply with Guideline 4.3
I have more then 150 stickers pack in AppStore. Last one was published week ago. Today I got 1.0 Information Request to last pack with next messageHello,We're writing to provide information about your app's review. We found that your app does not comply with Guideline 4.3 of the App Store Review Guidelines, because your app provides the same feature set as many of the other apps you've submitted to the App Store; it simply varies in content or language. You will need to combine apps with similar feature sets into a single container app, differentiating varied content within your app by categorizing elements into groups, using the in-app purchase API and location services to deliver content to users. Once you have done so, please reply to this message via Resolution Center indicating the app name and Apple ID of any container apps submitted under your Apple Developer Program account.Transferring and submitting this app, or other associated apps, under a new or existing Apple Developer Program account is

Guideline 4.3(a) Rejection After Creating New Developer Account Following 5.1.1 Review Guidance
Hello everyone, I'm looking for advice from developers who may have encountered a similar situation. I originally submitted an app called Bien, which provides financial services and handles sensitive user data. During review, Apple rejected the app under Guideline 5.1.1 and advised that the app must be published under a seller/company name that reflects the Bien brand. Following that guidance, we went through the process of creating a new Apple Developer account under the appropriate company identity and submitted the app again using the new account. However, the new submission has now been rejected under Guideline 4.3(a) (Spam) because the binary, metadata, and concept are similar to apps submitted under another developer account. The challenge is that the similarities exist because it is the same app, being resubmitted under the new account that Apple previously indicated should be used. We have: Submitted a formal appeal. Opened a support case with Apple. Provided the previous review communication

App rejected for Guideline 4.3(a) due to similar app on old account I cannot access
Hello, I am facing an issue with App Store Review Guideline 4.3(a) - Design - Spam. My app was rejected because it was found to be similar to another app previously uploaded on a different Apple Developer account. However, I have lost access to my old developer account and cannot remove or modify the previous submission. Currently, I am unable to: Log in to the old Apple Developer account Remove or update the app that is causing the conflict My new app is intended for internal testing only and is not yet published on the App Store. I have made efforts to modify the app, but the system still detects similarities with the old app. I would like to ask for advice or assistance on how to proceed in this situation, as I no longer have control over the previous account. Has anyone experienced a similar situation, and is there any way Apple can help resolve this? Thank you very much for your support.

Rejected for Spam 4.3 (A) Without Clear Reason – Previously Approved App Now Stuck in Review for Weeks! [App ID: 6744330283]
Hello Apple Developer Team and Community, I’m writing to raise a serious concern regarding my app (App ID: 6744330283) which is now being repeatedly rejected under Guideline 4.3 (A) – Spam, despite being previously approved and published for at least two earlier versions. We have had multiple rounds of communication with the App Review team in the past, carefully addressing every request and making adjustments accordingly. These previous versions were reviewed and approved without any reference to 4.3 issues. However, since a recent update, we’ve been receiving rejections citing Spam 4.3 (A) — without any specific explanation or detailed reasoning. Even more frustrating: Each review now takes over a week to process, making our release cycle extremely difficult to manage. It required dozens of phone calls and emails just to get the app reviewed at all. I even had a meeting with an App Review team member, where I was told: “The recent updates are considered Spam 4.3, while th

[HELP] My App Was Approved Then Rejected for 4.3 Spam – No Clear Reason Given (App ID: 6744330283)
Hi everyone, I’m reaching out because I’m really struggling to understand what’s happening with my app’s review status. My app was successfully approved and published with: Version 1.0 on May 12, 2025 Then updated to 1.1 on May 18, 2025 Everything was going smoothly — users were engaging, and within the last 20 days alone, in-app purchases totaled $2,100. However, when I submitted a new summer update (with fresh features and an in-app event), both: Version 1.2 and Version 2.1 ...were rejected under guideline 4.3(A) – Spam. This is incredibly confusing because: My app has a completely original design and functionality It provides distinctive value and content There is real user activity and sales I tried everything — submitted explanations, requested a manual review, even scheduled a Webex meeting with Apple. But the meeting was vague, and I still haven't received any concrete details on what exactly violates 4.3(A). Everything just refers back to not complying with Apple's guidelines without

Reply to 4.3 Design Spam (Suggestion for Apple)
>Does creating multiple developer accounts solve this problem? Two different things. One is apps that are made via a template or app generator(4.3 design), the other is a Developer Program account that belongs to the content owner.Simply moving to an owned account won't help if the app is still made using a template/generator (4.3 design), etc. When both are an issue w/review, both have to be dealt with separately, I think. > Each one want an individual AppThat's where owned accounts come in. You can still do your thing as a dev, regarless of who owns the account.

Reply to Why are normal version iterations consistently rejected
The version I submitted is 1.0.1, and the build is 105. I only added features and optimizations to the original version, so it is judged as 4.3. Did the review compare my 1.0 version as a duplicate value

Reply to 4.3 Design Guidelines - Apple please reconsider how this is enforced.
Those of us without an AppAnnie account couldn't see the link. Maybe the release dates are updates? He might be trying to consolidate apps and got a reprieve from the 4.3 requirements for updates
