Hello, we have been having huge problems with guideline 4.3- Spam. We submitted our App just fine and it has been rejected on the update. We have responded multiples time with no help.Their original response was:“We noticed that your app provides the same feature set as other apps submitted to the App Store; it simply varies in content or language, which is considered a form of spam” and ”When creating multiple apps where content is the only varying element, you should offer a single app to deliver differing content to customers. If you would like to offer this content for purchase, it would be appropriate to use the in-app purchase API”.We kindly explained to them our app has been created in-house with a team of over 15 developers. We did not use a template. We also attached our copyright for them. Not only this, but we only have 1 APP in our developer account. We have heard of developers being rejected with tons of APPS but we only have 1! We have double checked our description and keywords too and

A 4.3 rejection basically means you do not have an app and should start over.See:https://developer.apple.com/design/human-interface-guidelines/Also pls. see:For Best Results - Read the Label

My English is very poor, so I used translation tools.Get down to business:The APP submitted for review has not been released successfully for more than four months, with a delay of 2 months, 4.3 rejected twice and 2 months. The newly submitted APP was originally intended to be the APP before the update of the updated version. However, due to the large UI adjustment, it was submitted as a new APP because t
Well it finally happened to me. I have been waiting for it. I got for rejected for spam, on a new Sudoku App. I have a Calcudoku App. A Nurikabe App. A Kakurasu App. All with the exact same interface. And I uploaded a Sudoku App, and got tagged for similar design Spam. There is ZERO way to combine the apps, unless I want to spend a few years.I can understand how the reviewer rejected it.But the 'spam design' is actually a GOOD thing. Having a similar design for completely different puzzle games add a familarity to the user. SO he / she only has to learn a new game and not a new interface.Obviously these reviewers are not programmers, and they just follow a checklist. Ironically, this is one of my best coded apps. I computer generated Sudoku Puzzles, not an easy thing to do. (They have TED talks on it)There is nothing I can do but appeal. There is no way to fix this. It is really quite depressing. I hope some of these these App reviewers are programmers, and my appeal is accepted.
Hi,We are developing a dating app and got rejected by the Appstore several times. So I decided to change our business model, marketing, and took out certain functions after having a phone call with apple.I deleted the old bundle, and created a new one.Now I got rejected again for 4.3 Spam issues. However, I deleted the old bundle BEFORE submitting the new one. The bundle is the only one I have in my developer account. All I wanted to have is a fresh start. I tried to clearify that but now Apple isn't responding since 7 days. We noticed that your app provides the same feature set as other apps submitted to the App Store; it simply varies in content or language, which is considered a form of spam. The next submission of this app may require a longer review time, and this app will not be eligible for an expedited review until this issue is resolved.Any idea how long I have to wait for an answer, or is that some kind of unlimited time ban?
hii submitted app yesterday to review, This morning I was surprised that the application was rejected, Reason 4.3 Design: Spam. And I've introduced an application programmed by myself, and a unique design. This message I receivedGuideline 4.3 - DesignWe noticed that your app provides the same feature set as other apps submitted to the App Store; it simply varies in content or language, which is considered a form of spam. The next submission of this app may require a longer review time, and this app will not be eligible for an expedited review until this issue is resolved.what should I do ?
The recent 'spam' objections are all directed to the same developer publishing similar versions of the same app for different 'stores' (i.e. multiple apps for different Barber Shops - one for in each town in California). While your app is the same it will hit the App Store from two different developer accounts so the App Store will not apply that recent concern to the two apps. But your app does have similar code so it still violates the 'spam' 4.3 guideline; but does it? Won't the versions be localized differently; one in Chinese the other in English? If so, go for it.

Yesterday I had 102 ratings for 4.6 star average and today it shows 45 for a 4.3 star average. I have not released a new versione or submitted a new one for review in the past 7 days. Why would more than 50% of my ratings suddenly disappear?I did reduce the price from 1.99 to .99 about 10 days ago. Does this affect it?This is incredibily frustrating since January and February will be my biggest months for sales and in the past 3 weeks competing apps have hit the app store.
I have an issue about 'Color Contrast Calculator' tool in Accessibility Inspector from Xcode. For same foreground color #067AB4 and background color #F5F5F5, the color contrast ratio calculated by 'Color Contrast Calculator' is 5.5: 1, but is 4.3:1 by other tools like 'Colour Contrast Analyser' or https://webaim.org/resources/contrastchecker/So with the same foreground and background color, why the color contrast ratio is difference with other tools?
So I've got a lot of apps that have been consolidated into a container app. Like many of you, I got the 4.3 messages. After some grimacing, I can see the silver lining - for devs, for users, for Apple. But I really wish iTunes Connect would add a forwarding option in our Removed from Sale apps that redirects to the container app. I added a bug-report (feature request) for this already, but I'm hoping more devs ask for this. Reasoning...1. There's gotta be millions of dead app store links already floating around the internet. Why have those links go to this message This app is no longer available in your country's store, when it can just jump to a live app? We can update our own websites, but some blogger that wrote about an app 3 years ago, isn't going to update their links. 2. Its also a dead end for actual App Store users going through their old Purchases. Doesn't need to be. Let us recapture those users. 3. Consolidation was / will be a big ask for many of us. And like I said, I can see the benefi
Any progress so far? I am in the same boat. My idea was also to publish these types of games, but of course making them different enough with existing apps. My second game got the 4.3 rejection. Both games are completely different in terms of ui design and gameplay, but use the same base code. Which I believe why is was rejected.

I have more then 100 stickers pack for iMessage in AppStore. Week ago all my stickers pack for iMessage was marked as spam . Now I can't publish new stickers or update old.____4.3 Design: SpamGuideline 4.3 - DesignYour app provides the same feature set as many of the other apps you've submitted to the App Store; it simply varies in content or language. Creating multiple Bundle IDs of the same app is not appropriate. To resolve this issue, please combine apps with similar feature sets into a single container app. You should differentiate varied content within your app by categorizing elements into groups, using the in-app purchase API, and location services to deliver content to users.Once you have done so, please reply to this message via Resolution Center indicating the app name and Apple ID of any container apps submitted under your Apple Developer Program account._______With the release of XCode 10 in 2016, functionality for creating sticker packs without using code was added to XCode as separate t
Today iMessage Sticker app got rejected as well with same reason: 4.3 Design: Spam. It doesn't have any design, it's a sticker app from default Xcode project. It has original content from original artist. These app reviews are getting weirder.
