Is anyone else having trouble updating their Watch to Watch OS 2 beta? I'm currently stuck on the step where you need to actually update the Watch's software. When I go to the Apple Watch app on the iPhone, then General, then Software Update, it displays Checking for Update... and has been doing so for at least 30 minutes. I thought my corporate filter might be blocking the download, so I went on 4G, but it's still happening. I've tried restarting both the Watch and my iPhone, which is running iOS 9 beta, to no avail.I've followed all the steps in the installation guide up until this point, and I'm pretty stuck. Any thoughts would be greatly appreciated!

For the EXT-X-MEDIA-SEQUENCE tag, the specification states: The EXT-X-MEDIA-SEQUENCE tag indicates the Media Sequence Number of the first Media Segment that appears in a Playlist file. But for Iframe Only playlist that use the EXT-X-BYTERANGE tag and mark multiple Iframes in a single segment, how should the EXT-X-MEDIA-SEQUENCE tag be update? Should this be incremented based on the TS segment that the byte ranges describes or should it be updated to match the total number of EXT-X-EXTINF tags that have been encountered (i.e. The number of Iframes)?Example:Initial Iframe-Only playlist#EXTM3U #EXT-X-VERSION:4 #EXT-X-I-FRAMES-ONLY #EXT-X-TARGETDURATION:7 #EXT-X-MEDIA-SEQUENCE:0 #EXTINF:2.010 #EXT-X-BYTERANGE:8648@376 test/segment_0.ts #EXTINF:2.000 #EXT-X-BYTERANGE:16920@49256 test/segment_0.ts #EXTINF:2.000 #EXT-X-BYTERANGE:13724@150776 test/segment_0.ts #EXTINF:2.000 #EXT-X-BYTERANGE:8648@376 test/segment_1.ts #EXTINF:2.000 #EXT-X-BYTERANGE:12220@57904 test/segment_1.ts #EXTINF:2.010 #EXT-X-BYTERANGE:13348@1304
HiRead the App Store review guidelines, point 11. Purchasing and currenciesYou should use InApp purchases to purchase content, functionality, or services , such as a new game level, or to unblock a premium feature of your app. But you should not use InApp purchases to purchase physical goods or goods and services used outside of the App. For instance, to buy an uber ride or to make an hotel reservation. In such cases you can use another payment method such as paypal or Apple pay.

Dear all,I've installed sucessfully watchIS2b1 and iOS9b1 (iPhone 6+) and get both devices paird. After a while (5-7h) the Apple Watch shows the red disconnected Symbol (even when the Phone is about 30cm away) and I can't re-pair :-) them.Even when I reboot the Apple Watch they will pair again.Anybody knows about that? Is it a bug or just a setting-problem?best regardsSebastian
I am developing a keyboard extension. Even when it's allowed full access, there are still some cases it disappears and the default iPhone keyboard appears insted. I'm not talking about the password and phone number fields. The first case is the 'Search iPhone' field. There are some custom keyboards that appear there. However, my keyboard is not listed among the available keyboards for that field. The second case is a bit strange: if a device is not passcode protected, locking the screen with open keyboard and unlocking it does nothing, i.e. the keyboard still appears on the screen and everything is fine. However, if a device is passcode protected, after unlocking it, my keyboard is replaced with the system default. The interesting thing is that the same custom keyboards that can be used in the 'Search iPhone' field, remain active after unlocking a passcode protected device.I believe, there should be some setting or property in the plist file or something. I just cant find anything about it.The other thing that
There seems to be a lot of going on in the background after a fresh upgrade. Example: I had the Photos database filled with around 60.000 Photos and videos (optimized storage) and it took about half an hour before I could actually open the Photos app. Obviously cleaning up and deleting 100.000s of files in the background led to a very warm and slow device. It is now redownloading the thumbnails for all picture previews and it is responsive again.iOS only allows cleanup and extensive sync-operations (backups, Photos sync, etc.) while charging, so that may be an explanation for your experience with overheating while charging.

In a few games, I've noticed in-app purchases just makes a charge to my iTunes account but the games never actually give me the purchased credits. Anyone else experience this?
Well I am not too thrilled to pay Apple to provide my free software to the users of the Apple Safari browser.Apple will provide hosting and get a decent store for extensions, charging me for the same service that Mozilla, Google and Opera provide for free.

Just a note here: all of Apples watch apps are now native. So yes, there are native apps.

Same problem. Can't reply from Messages notifications anymore. Reading Messages notifications no longer marks them as read. Lastly, when I do go into the Messages app on the watch to respond, it tries to send everything as iMessage, regardless of contacts being SMS only. Fails to send every time. WatchOS 2 has made the messages app, one of the most useful features of the Apple Watch, virtually useless. I'd prefer not to erase all contents and settings for the third time (other times were just trying to get the watchOS 2 finish installing). Anyone know a different fix, or if it will actually fix it by erasing all contents and settings?

Hello,I have the following subscriptions plan to implement, but I am not sure if it's possible, or if I am developing the correct ideas. You can subscribe to multiple worlds in a game which are offered like this:1 world subscription - price15 worlds subscription - price210 worlds subscription - price 3unlimited worlds subscriptions - price 41. My client's request is to make them auto-renewable, which from what I've read there are some limitations to them. But my question is if it's possible for a user to buy subscriptions to 3 worlds (meaning subscribe one by one, paying price1 for each), if it's permitted? 2. What happens if the user afterwards buys the 5 worlds subscription. Is it correct to just add it up to the old three ones? I mean to have the old three ones and to also have the 5 bundle subscription? 3. Also how can I cancel the old subscriptions if the user buys at some point the unlimited subscription? Is this possible, or I should just let him know that he must cancel on his own the old subscriptions
Apple can always do what they want. They had native apps there before, or OW the watch wouldnt tell time, count steps and a host of other things. That part is mostly unchanged with the new OS, and there are likely zero outside apps yet that are native (unless Apple invited some firm for special cases).Apple may have added new native apps, but that list is short too as well I believe.
