Reply to Are these features possible to make in an iOS app?
Thanks for the post and good question that is good to explain the privacy policy. Apple enforces a strict security architecture called App Sandboxing, which isolates apps from each other and from the core operating system to protect user privacy. Because of this, Apple does not provide developers with the APIs (application programming interfaces) required to perform any of the tasks you mentioned. Third-party apps have absolutely zero read access to the iOS Messages app database. You cannot read, export, or save a user's SMS or iMessage history. In some cases allows apps to read text messages in only two highly restricted scenarios like an app can act as a spam filter. However, it can only see incoming messages from unknown numbers, and the system does not allow the app to save or export those messages. Just like SMS, the native Phone app's call history is completely locked down. A third-party app cannot read the incoming, outgoing, or missed call logs. Hope this helps. Albert Pascual

Individual to Organisation migration stuck — escalated in February, still no update
I started the process of migrating my developer account from Individual to Organisation back in December. I've signed all the required agreements and provided everything that was asked of me. The account is now stuck mid-migration and I can't do anything with it in the meantime. On 20th February I was told my request had been escalated to a senior advisor. That was three weeks ago. I've heard nothing since. I'm paying for a developer membership that I currently can't use. I can't ship, I can't manage my account, I can't do anything, I'm just waiting on a process that seems to have stalled completely with no visibility on when or if it'll move. I'm not posting here to vent. I'm posting because I don't know what else to do. The escalation path I was given has gone quiet, and there's no way for me to chase it or get a status update. Is there anyone at Apple who can look into this, or at least confirm the request is still active? A case number, a timeline, anything. I just need to know

Reply to Question: How to support landscape-only on iPad app after 'Support for all orientations will soon be required' warning
Hello Developers, This warning is triggered on iPadOS 26 with the deprecation of the UIRequiresFullScreen key. Apps are strongly encouraged to support dynamic resizing as the compatibility mode will be removed in future releases. For a detailed guide, please see Technical Note TN3192: Migrating your iPad app from the deprecated UIRequiresFullScreen key. For how to temporarily lock your app's screen orientation, please see the section Request scene orientation lock. Let me know if you'd like to know more, Richard Yeh  Developer Technical Support

Apple Developer Program – Payment Already Made but Still Prompted to Pay
Hello, I recently paid for the Apple Developer Program membership, but I am still being prompted to complete payment as if my subscription has not been processed. I have already been charged, and the payment appears to have gone through on my end. However, my account still shows an unpaid or inactive status, and I continue to receive payment prompts. Could you please investigate this issue and confirm that my membership is active? If there is a duplicate charge or a processing error, I would appreciate your assistance in resolving it. Thank you for your help.

App stuck "In Review" for 20+ days – Is there a queue delay in March 2026?
My app has been stuck in the In Review state for over 20 days now (submitted in mid-February). It is now March, and I have had zero movement. What I’ve checked: Resolution Center: Empty. No pending questions or requests. Account Status: Active and in good standing. This delay is severely impacting our launch timeline. Is anyone else experiencing a similar Black Hole right now, or is it just me? If you managed to get yours unstuck, what did you do? Any advice from Apple staff or fellow devs would be greatly appreciated.

Questions About App Attestation Rate Limiting and AppID-Level Quotas
I’m looking for clarification on how rate limiting works for the App Attest service, especially in production environments. According to the entitlement documentation (https://developer.apple.com/documentation/BundleResources/Entitlements/com.apple.developer.devicecheck.appattest-environment), iOS ignores the environment setting once an app is distributed through TestFlight, the App Store, or Enterprise distribution, and always contacts the production App Attest endpoint. With that context, I have two questions: Rate‑Limiting Thresholds How exactly does rate limiting work for App Attest? Is there a defined threshold beyond which attestation requests begin to fail? The Preparing to Use the App Attest Service documentation (https://developer.apple.com/documentation/devicecheck/preparing-to-use-the-app-attest-service) recommends ramping up no more than 10 million users per day per app, but I’m trying to understand what practical limits or failure conditions developers should expect. Help App Review Delay - Apps stuck (+30 days)
I am writing regarding a significant delay in the review process for my apps: Day Check: Day Counter, FastTask, Cookie Fortune, and LexiCrash. My submission for Day Check (v1.0) has been 'Pending Review' since February 9th. I provided the requested information in the Resolution Center over a month ago, but I have received no follow-up, and the red alert remains active. This is now causing a bottleneck for my entire developer account. Could you please verify if my response was received or if further action is required on my part to move these apps forward? References: Day Check: 6758218778 LexiCrash: 6758558703 FastTask: 6759599830 Cookie Fortune: 6758163442 Most concerningly, even simple updates for my existing apps, such as Cookie Fortune, have been completely ignored and have not been reviewed or accepted for over a month

thanks everyone for your responses! i didn’t realized that someone else who also has access to the developer account had uploaded screenshots in the iPad section that had alpha channel issues. my whole gaze was on iPhone screenshots; those were the ones i uploaded myself. apparently the failed iPad screenshots upload deterred the submission the whole time. apple could do better w pointing specifically where an error is coming from btw :(

Reply to Appeal Submitted Over 30 Days Ago – No Response Yet (Pending Termination Notice)
Hi, I went through a very similar situation in February 2026 and was eventually able to get my account reinstated, so I wanted to share my experience in case it helps. To answer your questions first: In my case, it took 10 days total for my account to be reinstated, but the App Review Board responded just 3 days after I submitted a second appeal that correctly identified the actual root cause. Based on that, waiting more than 30 days does feel unusually long. It’s possible that your current appeal may not be addressing the specific issue Apple is concerned about. Regarding your case, metadata problems typically result in a standard App Rejection, not an account-level action — so I personally find it unlikely that subtitle keywords alone would trigger a Pending Termination Notice. Here is the timeline of what happened to me: Feb 11: I submitted an update for my published app (“App A”). Feb 14: I received Pending Termination Notices for all my apps. The notice was a generic template,

Reply to Where are the forums heading to ?
Yeah, or some bot accounts asking about ASO. Perhaps complaints about review length or developer account issues should be syphoned off into a separate section? Maybe Apple could add a section above in the new post screen that says if they have an issue with their account to click here and go to some other place where actual Apple staff will have to respond? As a developer I don't really care about review length or someone else being unable to find a button in their Developer Account settings. I've helped people and never gotten a response from them, so I tend not to bother helping now. I've used these forums a lot in the past, and I enjoy them, but they have definitely recently gone downhill. Right now they're just good enough. Apple should step in and make them better.
