iOS App Refund Transactions
In the event that a user requests a refund for an iOS App you created and Apple grants this request, I am curious..... If the refund is granted before Apple makes the monthly deposit into your account, I assume that Apple will just subtract this transaction profit from your total earnings for the month and then deposit whatever the remaining balance is. But if a refund is granted for a purchase that was made prior to the monthly Apple deposit into your account but after Apple has made the deposit, will Apple withdraw the funds from your bank account or just make it up by not paying you for future downloads until they have recouped the refunded money? Many thanks in advance-Mark

iOS 9 beta 2 not showing up OTA or in iTunes
Hey everyone,I'm having diffuctly obtainig iOS 9 beta 2. It does not show up OTA, or in iTunes. I do see it when I log in to my account, and I can download it from there, but I would much prefer to simply install either via OTA, or iTunes. I'm (obvously) a registerd developer, and I pay my annul subscrtiption, and my iPhone's UDID has been registered. I have tried rebooting my iPhone with no success. Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thank you.

I havent been able to get this to work either. I already had Spotlight Suggestions turned on so I tried flicking the switch and no change.Just updated to 10.11 Beta 2 but I still cant get any natural queries to work. Also tried to do natural queries from the Guest account in case it was a user profile issue but still no luck.

Regarding the expiring of Apple Push Notification Service Certificate.
Regarding the expiring of Apple Push Notification Service Certificate. We have no option to renew the APNS certificate on developer account. Only “Revoke and “download”. When we clicked on revoke button that certificate is removed from the list.My questionwhen we revoke/expired the existing certificate , is there any chance to affect the the push notification on existing App Store app. After uploading new version with new certificates ,Is there any chance to work the push notification on previous version. ( suppose if the user not updating to new version)

Reply to Changing paid app to freemium (existing users)
It will work with one caveat. Depending on how the app was installed on a device there may or may not be a receipt. If there is no receipt in the expected location you must refresh the receipt. When you refresh the receipt the user will see a UIAlert telling them they must log into their iTunes Account. You might want to explain to the user what is happening so they won't be surprised by this requirement. However, since this will be the first time they are using the app on that device, they my not be that surprised.

Reply to Issues With El Capitan Beta 2 Straight Off The Bat
Ok, El Cap beta 2 installed clean and with none of the issues seen with doing the update that I saw above so thats a plus. However now when I log into the App Store and click on Purchases I see the 'This iTunes account is not set up to use Family Sharing' error, which is certainly is as it was the account I've been using all along. Tried logging out of icloud and restarting but still seeing that error for now. Other than that the slowness has disppeared and apps are working as expected

I saw a similar issue to this on beta 1 and reported a bug on it. Specifically I was able to setup my large GMAIL account and it pulled mail in but then stuck on Checking For Mail. This continued and if you looked at the activity window it would look like it was running an inventory on the GMAIL message list (number of total messages) and start to download but never completed even when left for over 24 hours. I still have the same issue on my beta 1 machine for El Capitan now but will be trying this in beta 2 shortly.

Reply to With bluetooth-central UIBackgroundModes enabled iPhone is not discovering BLE device in background. not
If you are having difficulties discovering your peripheral when your app is in the background or the iOS device is locked, there are a number of things to check:(not all of those will apply to your particular case, but these are good things to check for anyone having similar problems)- make sure in your code you are properly retaining your CoreBluetooth manager objects, and not inadvertently releasing them during the transition to background- if you are expecting your app to continue scanning for a peripheral for a long period after your app is backgrounded, do use CoreBlueooth preservation/restoration to allow iOS to continue scanning even after your app is removed from memory- make sure the advertising peripheral conforms with section 3.5 of Bluetooth Accessory Design Guidelines for Apple Products: https://developer.apple.com/hardwaredrivers/BluetoothDesignGuidelines.pdfIf you are getting the didDiscoverPeripheral callback as soon as you unlock the iOS device without launching your app, etc., numbe

Side button no longer muting iPhone 5s
After installing iOS 9 Beta 2 I can no longer mute my iPhone 5s.It appears that the side button is acting as a rotation lock and there is nothing in the settings to put it back to the old behavior and no way to completely mute the phone. Is anybody seeing this with Beta 2?

Try the Store menu item in the App Store. There is a sign out option there as well as the option to view your account.

Good - they're always especially keen to learn about App Store bugs.I can confirm though that my purchases have remained intact after updating to DP2.I hope that the issue with your account is speedily resolved.

30GB is pretty big, but would still have been workable under Yosemite. Have you checked network traffic while Mail is apparently freezing? It may be that non-UI processes are still in operation trying to sync the account and just need time...

Screen rotation doesn't work
I've noted on Beta 1 that the screen rotation on the home screen no longer works. Also, the screen will lock sometimes in an app and the only way to unlock the rotation is to kill the app and restart it. Anyone else?
