I upgraded to BigSur 11.1 on my 2013 late MacBook Pro and now cannot see a wifi device. All my other Apple devices can see this wifi device, including 3 iPhones and 2 other MacBook Pros that are not on BigSur. I can connect to my home wifi, 2 other wifi networks I frequent and 1 other wifi device. My question is does BigSur have wifi settings that I can change to allow my MacBook Pro to see this wifi device? Ron3McC
I have a MacBook Air 2018, after downloading BigSur, I am having connectivity issues with my Blackboard Collaborate. The video goes in and out, and the Audio crackles. In order for it to work, I have to close all my apps. Therefore, I am not able to run multiple apps at once anymore. Please tell me this issue will be addressed?
After updating and installing BigSur today, nothing is working. System preferences, trash, any icon really. I would like to restore to factory settings and start from scratch, but unable to launch system preferences. My Imac is rendered useless, would very much appreciate and help or to be steered in the right direction. Yasar
Is Mac OS BigSur compatible perfectly with eGPU, such as 5700XT? Right now, I am using 16in MBP pro with Catalina 10.15.7 and it works well. Bootcamp also works well with 5700XT. I am wondering if everything will be fine if I update to Mac OS BigSur.
Hi there, I have been testing out BigSur since the public beta was available. Could you please work on the following? Thanks. (a) Microsoft 365 Office Suite apps, iTunes and Samsung Smart Switch apps crash constantly; (b) Incompatible with F-Secure and Norton antivirus app; and (c) Macbook Pro fan switches on more often than before updating to BigSur. Thanks!
After installing the BigSur Public Beta on a separate partition of the internal drive of my 2017 iMac for a test drive, I seem to be unable to restore the system from a Time Machine backup on the external drive, reinstall the OS from Internet Recovery Mode OR erase and reformat the internal drive from Recovery Mode. I can provide more details if necessary but just wondering if anyone else is having problems.
Is it me, or has making an appointment in BigSur's Calendar heavily changed? Setting a time is a real bitch - and it was so easy and smooth! Could be that I missed something and that it's possible to keep things as they were. But if that's impossible, I'd like to go back to the old Calendar... (For the rest: BigSur rocks!)
