iOS 26: iPhone will not power on stuck on battery screen
I set iOS 26 to install overnight, put my iPhone 16 Pro on the MagSafe charger, watched it charge just fine, and went to sleep. When I woke up the iPhone showed the “plug into power” dead battery screen. I took it off MagSafe and put it back on. A half hour later the phone was warm but still wouldn’t power on, just showed the battery screen with a little red in it. I took it off MagSafe and plugged it into my iPad charging brick with USB cable to give it more power, still it did not turn on. I tried holding all the buttons to try to force a restart but didn’t work. For anyone else encountering this, do this to enter DFU mode and restore it. I had to do it a few times before I got the timing right. Plug into your Mac and open Finder (or apparently a PC with Apple Devices or iTunes) Press and quickly release volume up Press and quickly release volume down Press and hold right side button When the battery disappears and screen goes black, hold volume down and continue

iPhone 13 Pro Max battery health drops 1% on each iOS 16 Beta update
I have recently updated to iOS 16 Beta on my iPhone 13 Pro Max. During the first 2 updates everything went smoothly. On the update that introduced battery percentage, my battery health dropped from 100% to 99% which was acceptable considering my iPhone is 8 months old. There was an iOS beta update yesterday which further dropped my battery percentage by 1% down to 98%. Is this normal behavior or is it an issue with iOS 16 beta? I find it a bit farfetched to drop 2% within 2 weeks of updates. Thanks a lot for any input on this.

Reply to Crash in URLSessionConfiguration init in Xcode 26.0 beta (17A5241e)
For me, it crashes in a Swift Package as soon as I call URLSession(configuration: .ephemeral) (located in a static method, called from Task{} within another static method) with EXC_BREAKPOINT (code=1, subcode=0x257b8318c). It crashes only in the simulator (iOS 26 beta 1), on the device (iOS 26 beta 1) works. Tried on macOS 15.5 (24F74) and Xcode 26 beta 1. Running it from Xcode 16.4 (16F6) and on iOS 26 simulator also crashes. Running it from Xcode 16.4 (16F6) and on iOS 18.4 simulator does not crash. (FB17969913)

CarPlay not working on iOS 26 beta
Just wanted to check here to see if anyone else is running into the issue of CarPlay not working at all on iOS 26 Beta 1, even with the update on Friday. I plug my phone in (wired) and CarPlay never shows up. I've seen a Reddit thread where other folks are seeing the same thing.

Reply to Ios 26 battery 0%
This is likely a bug, so you should raise it here: https://feedbackassistant.apple.com/ and post the FB number here. In the meantime, have you put your phones into DFU mode? That should bypass any battery management issues that might be caused by iOS 26 beta, and allow you to restore.

ios 10.3 beta sluggish lag and battery life
I'm having problems iwth iOS 10.3 beta 2-4 with sluggish and laggy phone response esp when battery is low. It seems to go away once the phone is charged. Also on iOS 10.2.1 I had problems with the battery gauge being off, those seem better in iOS 10.3 (the phone will correctly shut down at 1-3%, but still when restarted battery is 30% and quickly jumps to 60-70% with charge).

watchOS 26 cause Battery drain fast
After the last OS26 developer beta update the watch series 6 battery drains fast, in less than two hours life. I visited Apple Store , they said the battery was dead so I had to buy new watch series 10 The same issue happened in the new watch, the battery meter shows 50% after 1 hour Right now I’ve downgraded my update version to beta 11 until I can find a solution

After iPadOS 26 Beta and iOS 26 Beta, AVCaptureMetadataOutput no longer detects Face on some devices.
I'm creating an app that uses AVCaptureSession to pass camera input to AVCaptureMetadataOutput type set [metaout setMetadataObjectTypes:@[AVMetadataObjectTypeFace]] and scan Face. After updating to OS 26 Beta2 and iOS 26 Beta2, an issue has occurred where the delegate method of AVCaptureMetadataOutputObjectsDelegate is not called on some devices. The following devices are experiencing this issue. iPad (9th Gen) iPad air (4th Gen) iPhone 15 This issue has not occur on any other devices I have. I tried running the AVFoundation sample code on the Apple Developer site on the above device. The same problem still occurs. [https://developer.apple.com/documentation/avfoundation/capture_setup/avcambarcode_detecting_barcodes_and_faces] Are any additional settings required after OS 26 beta and iOS 26 beta? Or is there some problem on the OS side?

sheetPresentationController and iOS 26 Beta
I my App I use the sheetPresentationController to get a sheet that sits on top of the main view (a Map) and that can be slided up and down, similar to the Maps or FindMy Apps. This works great with iOS 18 and older. But under iOS 26 Beta I see issues, especially on the iPad. When the window is small (iPhone or compact size class on iPad), changing the height of the sheet works as expected, the sheet window is attached to the bottom of the screen and I can slide it up and down. But when the App window is wider (regular size class on the iPad), the sheet is shown at the left (as expected), but it is no longer attached to the bottom of the screen, there's a very large (but constant) gap between the bottom of the App window and the bottom of the sheet. I haven't found a way to minimize the gap, the sheet window seems to totally ignore the vertical position and size of the sourceView to which the sheet should be attached to (it still evaluates the horizontal position, so I can m

Menu's primaryAction:{} is broken on latest iOS 26 beta
The following shows minimal example to reproduce the issue: Menu { Button(Test){} } label: { Text(Menu) } primaryAction: { // Some action } primaryAction modifier will not be called when pressing the menu button/view on iOS 26 beta, long pressing it will open the menu. Was tested on latest iOS 26 beta 8
