We are experiencing a crash in our application that only occurs on devices running iOS beta 26. It looks like a Beta problem. The crash appears to be caused by an excessive number of open File Descriptors. We identified this after noticing a series of crashes in different parts of the code each time the app was launched. Sometimes it would crash right at the beginning, when trying to load the Firebase plist file. That’s when we noticed a log message saying “too many open files,” and upon further investigation, we found that an excessive number of File Descriptors were open in our app, right after the didFinishLaunching method of the AppDelegate. We used the native Darwin library to log information about the FDs and collected the following: func logFDs() { var rlim = rlimit() if getrlimit(RLIMIT_NOFILE, &rlim) == 0 { print(FD LIMIT: soft: (rlim.rlim_cur), hard: (rlim.rlim_max)) } // Count open FDs before Firebase let openFDsBefore = countOpenFileDescriptors() print(Open

I Downloaded ios9 beta on my iPhone 6 + battery drains in lik 5hrs and charging takes longer than usual.anyone faced this?anyone know fix to this.?
For me, it crashes in a Swift Package as soon as I call URLSession(configuration: .ephemeral) (located in a static method, called from Task{} within another static method) with EXC_BREAKPOINT (code=1, subcode=0x257b8318c). It crashes only in the simulator (iOS 26 beta 1), on the device (iOS 26 beta 1) works. Tried on macOS 15.5 (24F74) and Xcode 26 beta 1. Running it from Xcode 16.4 (16F6) and on iOS 26 simulator also crashes. Running it from Xcode 16.4 (16F6) and on iOS 18.4 simulator does not crash. (FB17969913)

I'm having problems iwth iOS 10.3 beta 2-4 with sluggish and laggy phone response esp when battery is low. It seems to go away once the phone is charged. Also on iOS 10.2.1 I had problems with the battery gauge being off, those seem better in iOS 10.3 (the phone will correctly shut down at 1-3%, but still when restarted battery is 30% and quickly jumps to 60-70% with charge).
I set iOS 26 to install overnight, put my iPhone 16 Pro on the MagSafe charger, watched it charge just fine, and went to sleep. When I woke up the iPhone showed the “plug into power” dead battery screen. I took it off MagSafe and put it back on. A half hour later the phone was warm but still wouldn’t power on, just showed the battery screen with a little red in it. I took it off MagSafe and plugged it into my iPad charging brick with USB cable to give it more power, still it did not turn on. I tried holding all the buttons to try to force a restart but didn’t work. For anyone else encountering this, do this to enter DFU mode and restore it. I had to do it a few times before I got the timing right. Plug into your Mac and open Finder (or apparently a PC with Apple Devices or iTunes) Press and quickly release volume up Press and quickly release volume down Press and hold right side button When the battery disappears and screen goes black, hold volume down and continue
I find my iPad battery is better then the iPhone 6. My iPhone loose 50% in 4 hour.
This is likely a bug, so you should raise it here: https://feedbackassistant.apple.com/ and post the FB number here. In the meantime, have you put your phones into DFU mode? That should bypass any battery management issues that might be caused by iOS 26 beta, and allow you to restore.

Just wanted to check here to see if anyone else is running into the issue of CarPlay not working at all on iOS 26 Beta 1, even with the update on Friday. I plug my phone in (wired) and CarPlay never shows up. I've seen a Reddit thread where other folks are seeing the same thing.
Since updating to iOS 18.6 beta on my iPhone 13 ProMax, my battery usage has well over doubled. Also, my phone has become noticeably sluggish and unresponsive. For instance, after being charged to 100% my phone has dropped to 26% with only 1 hr 2m screen on time and 49m of screen off time. My phone gets noticeably warm to the touch, even through the case. Any ideas on the cause or any remedy?
I'm not sure at which beta it happened, but somewhere during the iOS 26 Public Beta releases, my iCloud Contacts have duplicated close to 100 times each. When I scroll to the bottom of the list to try and manage duplicates, it indicates I only have 2 duplicates. I should be sitting around 350 contacts and instead, I now have over 10k. Anyone else with this issue? I have filed Feedback in the app. I'm not certain if it was related to iOS 26 or iPadOS 26 as I have both, but noticed it first on my iPhone. I confirmed that the issue has affected my iCloud Contacts and therefore all of my Apple devices included older iOS and MacOS versions. Short of manually deleting all the duplicates, I'm at a loss as to how I can correct his.
After the last OS26 developer beta update the watch series 6 battery drains fast, in less than two hours life. I visited Apple Store , they said the battery was dead so I had to buy new watch series 10 The same issue happened in the new watch, the battery meter shows 50% after 1 hour Right now I’ve downgraded my update version to beta 11 until I can find a solution

Has anyone else had huge battery drain with this beta??? I can’t even get to lunch with my battery being at %40.....
I'm experience exterem battery drain in the beta 3, way worse than in beta 2 or beta 1. I'm talking going from 100% to 0% in a couple of hours without even using the watch very much. I tried restart etc. Is any one experiencing this? Wounder if it's some app I installed that might have problems.
