There are a couple error messages that developers have seen when using the iOS Simulator. We can certainly do better to make these error messages less cryptic in future releases, but for now, hopefully this post will help you out. Note that this information (likely a more condensed form of it since I am quite verbose here) should appear in Xcode release notes.1) Unable to boot the iOS SimulatorThis error message will appear in iOS Simulator, and if hitting Build&Run from Xcode, you will likely get an (Domain = DTiPhoneSimulatorErrorDomain, Code = 2) error there as well. With iOS 7 and later, the simulator runtime gained its own bootstrap server (launchd_sim) rather than relying on the host's launchd. In Xcode 6.0 and 6.1, this error message is only displayed in the event that launchd_sim crashes upon launch before the simulator can checkin with it. The only known cause of this issue is from the installation of 3rd party software which alters the behavior of OS X in unsupported ways by setting DYLD_INSERT_

I hope Apple restores our rankings from the now defunct forums.I put a lot of work into getting those points.
I've seen this happen before when the App Store is bogged down a bit. (Gosh, I wonder why that could be happening today...) My solution would be to quit the App Store, restart, then go to the Purchases tab and see if you have OS X 10.11 Developer Beta at the top of your list. If so, you should be able to start the download.

Go to the Purchases tab in Mac App Store and see if you have OS X 10.11 Developer Beta at the top of your list. May be its already being downloaded. If not, start downloading. 🙂

Open the App Store app and check the Purchased tab. I've had this happen to me before, but it should still show up in the Purchased section for download.

Hi,I cannot find clear informations if it is possible to downgrade the watch if in any case I would need to?I just find the information Devices updated to watchOS beta may not be restored to earlier versions of watchOS... in the watchOS beta Software Installation Guide which is not a real yes or no :-pThanks ;-)
If Apple says, Devices updated to watchOS beta may not be restored to, then I imagine they mean just that. So now you won't be able to able to easily restore a previous version which is why you will only want to install it on a test device you are using for testing your app rather than your own watch as the beta could break at anytime during the beta period.

Best way would be a full restore to be honest. Always restore when going to a Major Beta as upgrade paths might provide some unexpected results.

It's pretty good/stable for a beta 1.Of course, you will notice some lag, some 3rd party apps not working. But not that much that you couldn't use your phone. In generall, I would say it's the snappiest of all the beta 1 versions I have ever tried.Tested on iPhone 5s with update (not restore)

Using an iPhone 6... Pretty stable here so far. Restore from iTunes was pretty quick. Overall I do *feel* like everything is a bit snappier, but perhaps it's just a placebo affect. Or having just restored from scratch sped things up a bit.

I did a restore to upgrade to 9.0 from 8.4 beta and my iPhone 5S entered a reboot cycle when it came time to restore apps. It has gotten too hot to hold. Unplugged from Mac, let cool, tried again a few times, same result. So now, I'm using the App store to reinstall my apps. Then I'll just use restore from the manual backup I made before upgrading to get the settings. The Mac is running 10.10.4.
