No symbols for paired Apple Watch
I've created a new project with Xcode 7.0 which includes a Watch Kit app. I've updated my iPhone to iOS 9, and my watch to watchOS 2.0. I'm able to install version of my app by running the main app's Scheme and debugging on the device. However, if I want to debug on the watch I need to run the [App Name] WatchKit scheme. I'm unable to select my phone+watch though because they are listed under Inelegible Devices with the parenthetical explanation: (No symbols for paired Apple Watch)Anyone know how to get Xcode to download these symbols?

iTunes Connect: Invalid Binary on submission
I'm trying to upload a new version of an app to iTunes Connect but everything I've tried so far has resulted in a Invalid Binary report by iTunes Connect. I have the Archive action set to Release and all schemes set to use the distribution certification and profile. Everything archives fine and the binary validates, but after uploading to iTunes Connect the binary moves into the Invalid Binary state and I get the following email:Invalid Signature - Code object is not signed at all. Make sure you have signed your application with a distribution certificate, not an ad hoc certificate or a development certificate. Verify that the code signing settings in Xcode are correct at the target level (which override any values at the project level). Additionally, make sure the bundle you are uploading was built using a Release target in Xcode, not a Simulator target. If you are certain your code signing settings are correct, choose Clean All in Xcode, delete the build directory in the Finder, and rebuild your re

On device watchOS debugging impossible
It doesn't seem to be possible for me to debug on device wtih my apple watch. I can run my develpment app normally, but Xcode just can't seem to attach to a debugging session.I've read the relase notes and have tried:1) deleting the app/apps from devices and trying again2) ensuring Show App on Watch is on for dev app3) restarting all of: watch, phone, xcode, mac.4) unpairing / pairing againNo dice. When I click Run on the [AppName] WatchKit App scheme, the status window says Running [AppName] WatchKit App on [Phone name]. It stays like that for about 45 seconds. Then it says Finished running [AppName] WatchKit App on [Phone name].It really seems like the Phone->Watch connection is just way too slow. When I launch Xcode, it takes about 2 minutes before it considers my Phone+Watch pair as eligible for this scheme. During this initial 2 minutes, if I look into Window->Devices I don't see my watch listed even though I can clearly see it is paired.I'm going to turn this into an official bug

NSDateFormatter replacing colons with dots
Hi allI just put iOS 9 on a device and downloaded my app from the app store. The affected code is swift code. When i use a dateformatter with format:yyyy-MM-dd'T'HH:mm:ss.SSSSSZZZIt translates to2015-05-30T10.52.00.00000+0200 instead of 2015-05-30T10:52:00.00000+0200Anyone else experiencing this?I am using a very specific format here, the colons are specified directly, its pretty crazy they would turn into dots...I have not download the new xcode yet so i haven't seen it in debug mode, but this is what is sent to my backend server from iOS 9.Thanks in advance

WCSession sendMessage returning errors (simulator)

Unable to run updated WatchKit app in Xcode 7's simulator
I've updated the app for watchOS 2 using the built in suggestion with Xcode 7 when you first build it. I've changed all the necessary code so there's no errors or warnings but I can't seem to run either the containing app or the watch app in the simulator; they never launch but they do copy over to the simulators. Is there a new scheme I should be using? I'm using the previous scheme for the main watch app which now automatically lets you choose between running the iPhone 6 simulator with either the 38mm or 42mm watch simulator.

Reply to Is it possible to run Xcode 7 UI Tests from command line?
Yes, with something like this ...xcodebuild test -scheme YourAppScheme -destination platform=iOS Simulator,OS=9.0,name=iPhone 6Replace your project's scheme name in for 'YourAppScheme'Used to be you had to export/share the scheme (go to manage schemes in Xcode) to get this to work. Not sure if that is still the case. Just a warning. You can play with the destination settings to pick different devices, etc.Cheers.

Reply to WCSession sendMessage returning errors (simulator)
Because you're calling the code to start the session in your view controller, you'll have to actually start your iPhone app in order to initiate session info from the iPhone. When you run the watch scheme, only the watch simulator launches the app. Your iPhone app is launched in the background of the iPhone simulator if your watch tries to access it. Also, my understanding is you have to call the same activateSession and delegate methods in the watchkit extension and the iPhone app. But I could be wrong on this part. I think maybe why you're seeing the error message is that your initiating the session on the iphone app, but running only the watch app. so the watch tries to look for a session that isn't there because your iPhone view controller wasn't launched to create the session yet.

Copying target on build success only
I did create a command line tool for my iOS project. I would like the binary to be copied to ~/bin folder, just after a successful compilation and linking. What I did so far is:cp ${TARGET_BUILD_DIR}/${PRODUCT_NAME} ~/bin/entered as a pre-action run script in XCode scheme. I am almost happy with that, only except that I unnecessarily need to run the toole to have it copied. I would prefer to enter the above command as a post-action build script, but only if compilation and linking have both been successful. Is there a way to put a condition into post-action build script?
