Looking at my CloudKit Telemetry console I noticed a significant increase in 'Other' errors recently. These errors are impacting user experience and I really don't know how to better understand the issues that may be occurring due to the "other" category. If I query the logs for "other" errors, only 2 results show up for the week. There are 2500+ errors in the telemetry graph (see attached). Is anyone else experiencing this or does anyone have a suggestion on how I can better understand this issue? Thank you!

Are “Notification Service Extensions” officially supported on macOS? I’m developing an app for both iOS and macOS (not Catalyst). I’ve successfully setup a separate notification service extension for both the iOS and macOS targets. The iOS extension is modifying the CKSubscription push notification as expected. However the macOS notification service extension is not being launched at all no matter what I seem to try, matching deployment targets etc. I’m also asking because although Apple docs report that support for UNNotificationServiceExtension was added in macOS 10.14, the article at https://developer.apple.com/documentation/usernotifications/modifying_content_in_newly_delivered_notifications makes no mention of macOS, only iOS.

Hey there, I’m feeling pretty desperate at this point, as my most recent update to Xcode 16.1 and the new 18.1 simulators has basically made it impossible for me to work on my apps. The same app and same code run fine in the 18.0 simulators with the same iCloud account logged in. I’ve tried multiple simulators with the same results, even on different computers. I’ve also tried logging in repeatedly without any luck. The CloudKit database logs don’t show any errors or suspicious entries. Reinstalling the app on the simulator doesn't help either. Hello, I’m upgrading my app from Core Data to SwiftData. Due to my old setup the Core Data store has an explicitly name like „Something.sqlite“, because it was defined via NSPersistentContainer(name: "Something") before switching to SwiftData. Now my goal is to migrate the Core Data stack to SwiftData, while moving it to an App Group (for Widget support) as well as enable iCloud sync via CloudKit. Currently, I have an Unversioned Schema, and lightweight changes are automatically applied to the Models. However, I'm planning to transition to a VersionedSchema, and I have a few questions: Do I need to write all lightweight migrations in the Migration Plan? or is it automatically applied like the Unversioned Schema? What happens if I do not create a lightweight migration? and just directly do lightweight changes to the latest VersionedSchema (example: Add a new property)?

Hey all - Been building my app and all has been going well with successful builds through to test flight. However, I have just added CKSharing support into the app and therefore into the entitlements to allow collaboration within the app. As soon as I have added this, I can no longer build due to a signing certificate error stating my provisioning profile just not allow for CKSharing... "Provisioning profile "iOS Team Provisioning Profile: com.MyApp" doesn't include the com.apple.developer.cksharing entitlement." However, iCloud is enabled within my app profile, and all other cloudkit features have worked up until adding that specific entitlement. Any help or guidance to get passed this would be greatly appreciated.

I'm using SwiftData, and I'm using iCloud's CloudKit feature to back up my data. The problem here is that once you start backing up your data, you can't erase it completely. Even if the user adds 4 data and erases 4 again, I'm using about 2.5kb. I don't know how the user using the app will accept this. I'm trying to provide the user with the ability to erase data at once, what should I do??
