FamilyControls API access
I’m requesting access to the Family Controls API for an iOS app currently in development. I’ve submitted the request through the official form here: https://developer.apple.com/contact/request/family-controls-distribution However, after submitting, I receive no confirmation email or support ticket ID. The page only shows a “Thank you for requesting the API” message, and I’m left without a way to track or confirm the request. This entitlement is essential for my app’s functionality, and I need to move forward with development and testing. Can someone from the Apple team please confirm receipt of the request and provide guidance on the next steps or estimated timelines?

调用苹果授权登录,AKAuthenticationError Code=-7074
我尝试创建一个command line tool 应用,然后创建一个dylib,其核心功能是,调用苹果登录。我安装sign in with apple 的要求,先生成一个bundle ID 然后,在开发者后台注册,同时开启其 sign in whit apple 功能。

iPhone screen layers
I need to understand the different layers that are there in the iPhone X and later OLED screens as I am designing a hardware attachment. They seem to be projecting letters and images from a different layer than the subpixel layer. Is this proprietary information, or is there a resource that explores them?

Handling VoiceOver Focus When Screen Changes (Push, Present, and SplitViewController)
I have some doubts about how VoiceOver handles focus when the screen updates. When a new UIViewController is pushed onto a UINavigationController or presented modally, how does VoiceOver decide which element to focus on? Is there a way to control or customize this behavior? In a UISplitViewController, when an item is selected in the primary view controller, the focus should shift to the relevant content in the secondary view controller. How can we ensure that VoiceOver correctly moves focus to the right element in the secondary panel?

question about App Store Server Notifications
I have 2 subscriptions, monthly and year first:DID_CHANGE_RENEWAL_PREF + DOWNGRADE: Customer downgrades a subscription within the same subscription group; The current subscribe is year;if i change to month;when the subscribe year was expire,Automatic renewal will change to month second:DID_CHANGE_RENEWAL_PREF+UPGRADE: Customer upgrades a subscription within the same subscription group. The current subscribe is month;if i change to year;I need to pay for the annual subscription immediately;and The subscription immediately switches to the annual third:DID_CHANGE_RENEWAL_PREF subtype is None Customer reverts to the previous subscription, effectively canceling their downgrade. what this mean? This is Test Env,month is five minutes;year is one hour ①My current subscription is an annual, startTime:2024-10-02 15:04:58 ,expireTime:2024-10-02 16:04:58 ②first DOWNGRADE to month,at 2024-10-02 15:14:16 ②after 38 minutes,I change to the annual subscribe;at 2024-10-02 15:52:00 in the end,the Notification purchaseDate 2024-10-02 15:52:00;expiresDate 2024-10-02 16:52:00; So When I get NotificationType=DID_CHANGE_RENEWAL_PREF,NotificationSubType=None,Do I need to create a new subscription for the users? Is it the latest notice of purchaseDate and expiresDate, for a year? The appleNotification Payload as follows: JWSTransactionDecodedPayload( originalTransactionId='2000000731045285', transactionId='2000000731088945', webOrderLineItemId='2000000076096676', bundleId='app.xxxx', productId='com.xxxx.365', subscriptionGroupIdentifier='21514251', purchaseDate=1727855520000, 2024-10-02 15:52:00 originalPurchaseDate=1727852699000, 2024-10-02 15:04:59 expiresDate=1727859120000, 2024-10-02 16:52:00 quantity=1, type=<Type.AUTO_RENEWABLE_SUBSCRIPTION: 'Auto-Renewable Subscription'>, rawType='Auto-Renewable Subscription', appAccountToken='fa37b7a2-2b0b-43cb-8fda-a1fb21168efe', inAppOwnershipType=<InAppOwnershipType.PURCHASED: 'PURCHASED'>, rawInAppOwnershipType='PURCHASED', signedDate=1727855526632, 2024-10-02 15:52:06 revocationReason=None, rawRevocationReason=None, revocationDate=None, isUpgraded=None, offerType=None, rawOfferType=None, offerIdentifier=None, environment=<Environment.SANDBOX: 'Sandbox'>, rawEnvironment='Sandbox', storefront='CAN', storefrontId='143455', transactionReason=<TransactionReason.PURCHASE: 'PURCHASE'>, rawTransactionReason='PURCHASE', currency='CAD', price=14990, offerDiscountType=None, rawOfferDiscountType=None) JWSRenewalInfoDecodedPayload( expirationIntent=None, rawExpirationIntent=None, originalTransactionId='2000000731045285', autoRenewProductId='com.xxxx.365', productId='com.xxxx.365', autoRenewStatus=<AutoRenewStatus.ON: 1>, rawAutoRenewStatus=1, isInBillingRetryPeriod=None, priceIncreaseStatus=None, rawPriceIncreaseStatus=None, gracePeriodExpiresDate=None, offerType=None, rawOfferType=None, offerIdentifier=None, signedDate=1727855526632, 2024-10-02 15:52:06 environment=<Environment.SANDBOX: 'Sandbox'>, rawEnvironment='Sandbox', recentSubscriptionStartDate=1727852698000, 2024-10-02 15:04:58 renewalDate=1727859120000, 2024-10-02 16:52:00 currency='CAD', renewalPrice=14990, offerDiscountType=None, rawOfferDiscountType=None, eligibleWinBackOfferIds=None) Boost Unwatched post

Will iCloud service lose data access because users are in different regions?
My app uses CoreData based on iOS 13.0 combined with iCloud to store data. This function automatically manages the data collaboration between CoreData and iCloud. Some users have reported that after going abroad, their original data disappeared, and when they returned to China, the data could be displayed normally again. I'm located in Mainland China. I've learned that iCloud data in China is all stored in Guizhou-Cloud Big Data (the data center in Guizhou). Could this problem be caused by display abnormalities resulting from the switching of the iCloud data storage centers accessed in different regions?

Clarification on Entitlements, Privacy Manifest, and Info.plist for System-Wide Mouse Click Monitoring and Typing Simulation in macOS App
I am currently developing a macOS application that listens for system-wide mouse clicks to simulate typing with user-provided text. The app requires Accessibility permissions to function properly, and I want to ensure compliance with Apple’s latest privacy and security guidelines. The app listens to global mouse clicks. It simulates keyboard input with user-provided text I would like detailed guidance on the following aspects: What specific entitlements are required to allow system-wide mouse click monitoring and simulating user input ? App Sandbox enable or disable? what keys required to explain global mouse click monitoring and keyboard input simulation in the info.plist What will be the configuration of Privacy Manifest

Separate bluetooth keyboard and bluetooth scanner inputs
Hi, I have an iOS app where bluetooth scanner and bluetooth keyboard both should work simultaneously. I have used 'pressesBegan' method to fetch the characters which are coming from the bluetooth keyboard. This method is fetching all the bluetooth keyboard inputs correctly. But this method is also called when the characters are coming from the bluetooth scanner. In the 'pressesBegan' method, I have to separate the inputs which are coming from the bluetooth keyboard and are coming from bluetooth scanner. They both have some different use in the app. I have already tried with the fetching speed of the characters, but no luck in case of high speed typing. So characters fetching speed will not work in our case. Is there any way to separate the inputs based on some other factorials? Or any other info in the 'pressesBegan' method which can separate the input that it is coming from scanner or is coming from keyboard. Any suggestion regarding this will be helpful. Thanks in advance.

Apple Developer Program Purchase Not Saving Progress
I’m trying to enroll in the Apple Developer Program as an individual. I’ve gone through the steps on the website and started the purchase process. However, after a couple of days when I return to the site, it doesn’t remember my progress — I have to start the enrollment from scratch every time. Is this expected behavior? Am I missing a step to save my progress or complete the enrollment properly? Any help or guidance would be appreciated. Thank you!

How can we make elements which are grouped accessible for automation
I have a stackview which have 2 labels class TextView: UIView { @IBOutlet private weak var stackView: UIStackView! { didSet { stackView.isAccessibilityElement = true stackView.accessibilityLabel = label1.text + label2.text } } @IBOutlet private weak var label1: UILabel! { didSet { label1.accessibilityIdentifier = "label1" } } @IBOutlet private weak var: UILabel!{ didSet { label2.accessibilityIdentifier = "label2" } } } My goal here is to have a combines accessibility label for the stackview and yet able to access the accessibilityIdentifier of child elements for automation.

AirPlay connection to a large monitor
I created a desktop app for Mac using Xojo. The app has a controller in the main window and displays advertisements and notices on a connected external display. I'm currently connecting my iMac24 to a REGZA-55M550M via AirPlay, and displaying video from the iMac to the REGZA, but the connection occasionally drops out. Yesterday, the connection dropped about 3.5 hours after connecting. Of course, I have other apps running on the iMac, but I'm not using any operations that would put a strain on the network or memory. Does AirPlay connection to non-Apple products become unstable over long periods of time?

Disable Inappropriate Content Warnings in Writing Tools
I’ve noticed that the writing tools frequently display content warnings for certain topics, often more than seems necessary, and I would love to see a way to disable them in my app. Specifically, I have encountered many situations where mentioning LGBTQ topics triggers a content warning and temporarily blocks the user, while similar mentions of heterosexual topics do not. For example: Triggers Content Warning: “I’ve been listening to this song on repeat yesterday and today haha. It’s really nice that it’s about being homosexual ~u~” “I’ve been listening to this song on repeat yesterday and today haha. It’s really nice that it’s about being *** ~u~” Does Not Trigger Content Warning: “I’ve been listening to this song on repeat yesterday and today haha. It’s really nice that it’s about being heterosexual ~u~” “I’ve been listening to this song on repeat yesterday and today haha. It’s really nice that it’s about being straight ~u~” This inconsistency not only introduces unnecessary friction when discussing diverse topics but may also inadvertently suggest that LGBTQ topics are inappropriate or immoral. Such an implication could be harmful to many users, especially young adults, by reinforcing negative perceptions of LGBTQ issues. I believe it’s important for the AI writing tools to handle all topics equitably to promote inclusivity and diversity. And would love to be able to disable these warnings in my app. here’s a video showcasing the example prompts above: https://share.icloud.com/photos/0bdGPxy2xmGZT2ildAU4ThERQ

tvOS: GCController does not send button press events for "Button A" and "Button Center" when VoiceOver is On
When turning VoiceOver ON, GCController does not send button press events for "Button A" and "Button Center". This happens when using Siri 2nd generation remote (with dedicated arrow buttons on the circle around center button) and also when using iOS remote. I didn't test it on old Siri 1st generation with touchpad without arrow buttons. Example: gameController.microGamepad?.allButtons.forEach { button in button.valueChangedHandler = { [weak self] _, _, _ in self?.buttonHandler(gameController: gameController, button: button) } private func buttonHandler(gameController: GCController, button: GCControllerButtonInput) { print("BUTTON: Pressed \(button.description) isPressed=\(button.isPressed) isTouched=\(button.isTouched)") } #endif VoiceOver ON (incorrect behavior): BUTTON: Pressed Direction Pad Left (value: 0.030, pressed: 1) isPressed=true isTouched=true BUTTON: Pressed Direction Pad Down (value: 0.079, pressed: 1) isPressed=true isTouched=true BUTTON: Pressed Direction Pad Left (value: 0.000, pressed: 0) isPressed=false isTouched=false BUTTON: Pressed Direction Pad Down (value: 0.000, pressed: 0) isPressed=false isTouched=false VoiceOver OFF (correct behavior): BUTTON: Pressed Direction Pad Left (value: 0.137, pressed: 1) isPressed=true isTouched=true BUTTON: Pressed Direction Pad Up (value: 0.078, pressed: 1) isPressed=true isTouched=true BUTTON: Pressed Button A (value: 1.000, pressed: 1) isPressed=true isTouched=true BUTTON: Pressed Button Center (value: 1.000, pressed: 1) isPressed=true isTouched=true BUTTON: Pressed Button A (value: 0.000, pressed: 0) isPressed=false isTouched=false BUTTON: Pressed Button Center (value: 0.000, pressed: 0) isPressed=false isTouched=false BUTTON: Pressed Direction Pad Left (value: 0.000, pressed: 0) isPressed=false isTouched=false BUTTON: Pressed Direction Pad Up (value: 0.000, pressed: 0) isPressed=false isTouched=false I could use for detection Direction Pad Left/Right/Up/Down and detect position between -0.7 and +0.7 and handle it as center button press, because I use that on old Siri remote where I need to distinguish center button and arrows (for switching TV channels by Up/Down and Skip forward/back by Left/Right arrows), but for new Siri remote it would be unnecessary workaround. Does anybody know why the center/select button is not detected when VoiceOver is ON. Is there another way of detecting it using GCController? I don't want to use SwiftUI onTapGesture for this one particular case. Is it an unexpected bug in tvOS APIs or is there some specific reason why center button is not handled by GCController when VoiceOver is ON? Thanks.

App Store Policy for apps that allows users to unlock contact details of person who posted content.
We have an app under development which allows musicians to unlock contact details of people who posted about an upcoming event. The musician pays a fees to unlock this contact details. Both the musician & the post owner are registered users. We will reveal the same contact info that the post owner used for account signup verification. Questions: Is this allowed? (given that we obtain consent to share contact info to other people and clearly mention this in privacy policy) If yes, will we have to use App store in-app purchase to facilitate this transaction or are we free to use a payment processor such as Stripe.
