SwiftUI List Accessibility VoiceOver
I have been working on a feature, where I have a List in SwiftUI with previous and next data loading, user can scroll up and down to load previous/next page data. Recently, I faced one accessibility issue while testing voice-over, when user lands on the listing screen and swipe across the screen from navigation and when focus comes on list it should highlight the first item visible. But when user swipes back: Should it load the previous data and announce the previous item or it should go back to the navigation items? If it loads the previous item, what if the user wants to go to the navigation to switch to other actions and vice-versa? Did anyone come across this kind of issue? What can be the standard expected behavior in this case if list has both previous and next page scroll? I different tried gestures https://support.apple.com/en-in/guide/iphone/iph3e2e2281/ios, but it isn't working

Making VoiceOver more concise on a SwiftUI Menu
A common UI idiom in Apple's first party iOS apps is a circle icon with three dots in the upper right of the screen. This serves as a pop-up menu of more options. Some examples include: Apple Music, Library tab Photos, Album view Reminders In all these cases, VoiceOver reads this element as "More, Button". In my SwiftUI app, I've implemented a visually identical button. Menu { // Button for Menu Item 1 // Button for Menu Item 2 // ... } label: { Image(systemName: "ellipsis.circle") .accessibilityHidden(true) } .accessibilityLabel("More") However, the VoiceOver output in my app is much more verbose. It speaks "More, Button, Pop Up Button, Double Tap To Activate The Picker". Any guidance on how to make this more concise in line with the apps mentioned above?

Best Way to Navigate to the Top Element Using VoiceOver
I’m currently focused on an element at the bottom of the screen. What is the proper way to quickly navigate to the top element? By default, there’s a four-finger single tap to move to the first element, but should I use the Rotor action instead to focus on the element I need? For example, in the Contacts app while adding a new contact, if I enter a value in a field at the bottom, there’s no quick way to directly save the contact. I have to manually navigate all the way to the top to tap the Done button, which feels a bit inconvenient. Is there a better way to handle this using VoiceOver?

IOS 26 Full Keyboard Access (navigation) and WKWebView
We use an embedded WKWebView for several screens in our app. Recently, we have been testing keyboard navigation via Full Keyboard Access in our apps. On IOS 18, everything works pretty much as expected. On IOS 26, it does not. On IOS 26, you can "tab" away from the webview and then never tab back to the webview for keyboard navigation. Is this a known issue? Are there workarounds for this issue that anyone is aware of?

Feature Request – Bionic Reading Accessibility Setting
I’d love to see Apple implement a Bionic Reading feature as a system-wide accessibility option. This type of reading aid highlights the first part of each word in bold to help guide the eyes and improve comprehension. It’s been shown to be especially helpful for people with ADHD, dyslexia, and other neurodivergent needs. Having a toggle in Settings > Accessibility would be life-changing. Ideally, it could be: • Enabled system-wide, or per-app • Allow customization of how much of the word is bolded • Available in Safari, Messages, Books, News, etc.

My Enrollment is being processed for long time
Hello, I’m reaching out regarding an issue with our organization’s Apple Developer Program enrollment. We’ve successfully created a developer account and our organization is verified through the D-U-N-S system. The D-U-N-S ID is correctly displayed in our Apple Developer account. However, the enrollment status still shows: “Your enrollment is being processed.” It’s been 3 months, and we haven’t received any further communication or updates. Has anyone experienced a similar delay? Is there anything else we should do to expedite the process? Any guidance or insight would be greatly appreciated. Thanks,

The camera preview screen cannot be previewed in full screen
I downloaded the official camera sample code(https://developer.apple.com/tutorials/sample-apps/capturingphotos-camerapreview )it's a .swiftpm package and created a SwiftUI project. I copied the official sample code into this new project, build it, and ran it on an iPhone 13 for testing. I found that there were black empty areas on the top and bottom of the application interface, which means that the application interface cannot be previewed in full screen. I have tried many methods but cannot preview in full screen. How can I modify the code?

Medication data insert from third party app
I want to insert the medication data which is available from ios 26 from my app to apple health kit. I have tried to get the permission to read and write data but app got crashed while I tried to request that permission. Does apple allow to insert the medication data to apple health kit likewise we are able to add other health and fitness data or not? let healthStore = HKHealthStore() @available(iOS 26.0, *) @objc func requestAuthorization(_ resolve: @escaping RCTPromiseResolveBlock, rejecter reject: @escaping RCTPromiseRejectBlock) { guard HKHealthStore.isHealthDataAvailable() else { print("not available ") return } let doseType = HKObjectType.medicationDoseEventType() let medType = HKObjectType.userAnnotatedMedicationType() healthStore.requestAuthorization(toShare: [doseType], read: [doseType]) { success, error in if let err = error { reject("auth_error", err.localizedDescription, err); return } self.healthStore.requestPerObjectReadAuthorization(for: medType, predicate: nil) { s, e in if let err2 = e { reject("per_obj_auth", err2.localizedDescription, err2); return } resolve(["ok": success && s]) } } }

What is the appropriate accessibility trait for selectable UITableViewCell?
I’m trying to understand the best practice for assigning accessibilityTraits to a UITableViewCell that users can select from a list of options. In Apple’s first-party apps like Settings, I’ve noticed an inconsistent approach—some cells use the Button trait, while others simply announce the label along with the Selected trait when applicable, without any additional role like Button or Adjustable. So my question is: What is the most appropriate accessibility trait to use for a selectable table view cell that updates a selection (like a settings option)? Is using .button the right approach, or should we rely solely on .selected? Is there any user experience guideline from Apple that recommends one over the other? Would love to hear how others handle this for clarity and consistency in VoiceOver behavior.

Siri misreads local currency in notifications (Bug reported, still unresolved)
I’m experiencing an issue where Siri incorrectly announces currency values in notifications. Instead of reading the local currency correctly, it always reads amounts as US dollars. Issue details: My iPhone is set to Region: Chile and Language: Spanish (Chile). In Chile, the currency symbol $ represents Chilean Pesos (CLP), not US dollars. A notification with the text: let content = UNMutableNotificationContent() content.body = "¡Has recibido un pago por $5.000!" is read aloud by Siri as: ”¡Has recibido un pago por 5.000 dólares!” (English: “You have received a payment of five thousand dollars!”) instead of the correct: ”¡Has recibido un pago por 5.000 pesos!” (English: “You have received a payment of five thousand pesos!”) Another developer already reported the same issue back in 2023, and it remains unresolved: https://developer.apple.com/forums/thread/723177 This incorrect behavior is not limited to iOS notifications; it also occurs in other Apple services: watchOS, iPadOS, and macOS (Siri misreads currency values in various system interactions). Siri’s currency conversion feature misinterprets $ as USD even when the device is set to a region where $ represents a different currency. Announce Notifications on AirPods also exhibits this issue, making it confusing when Siri announces transaction amounts incorrectly. Apple Intelligence interactions are also affected—for example, asking Siri to “read my latest emails” when one of them contains a monetary value results in Siri misreading the currency. I have submitted a bug report via Feedback Assistant, and the Feedback ID is FB16561348. This issue significantly impacts accessibility and localization for users in regions where the currency symbol $ is not associated with US dollars. Has anyone found a workaround, or is there any update from Apple on this?
