Unable to recreate a ONE_TIME_SNAPSHOT analytics report
Previously created a one time snapshot report that was later deleted. Trying to recreate it but keeping getting a 409. Been already a week since it was deleted. Error message { "errors" : [ { "id" : "b0d8d738-1744-463d-bdcf-a48fbfa5d715", "status" : "409", "code" : "STATE_ERROR", "title" : "The request cannot be fulfilled because of the state of another resource.", "detail" : "You already have such an entity" } ] } Reports request only returns the ONGOING reports link no ONE_TIME_SNAPSHOT . Wonder if it takes time although unlikely or might it be a cache or similar causing the problem.

ConsumptionRequest fields
As part of ConsumptionRequest fields there's a bit of unclarity. In my case I am only concerned with subscriptions, as they give some premium features in the app. The fields and the questions are the following: playTime: is this the time used in the app in total or just the time the app has been used while using the subscription? consumptionStatus: does this relate only to the user using the premium features he/she paid for? or the fact that the user had access to those features only? Thanks!

How to build reliable Analytics integration via API?
Hey there, I'm building a service that requires receiving accurate app downloads and sales/proceeds data along with the campaign name. From reading the documentation it looks to be fairly understandable, but in practice it is not that straightforward. For example, I received the first one-time-snapshot detailed report for the App Store Purchases, and it contains partial data for several days. Shouldn't that be a full report of everything in analytics for like last year or so? Should I expect it to be updated and extended in the coming days? For the ongoing detailed report, I have not received anything yet, but I'm afraid it might have partial data as well. I will report here as well.

Fetching app version release dates with App Store Connect API
What App Store Connect API endpoint(s) do I need to use to get the release dates of an app's various app versions? On App Store Connect itself, I can navigate to a given app and select "History", on the left side under General. See screenshot: In the screenshot, you can clearly see that version 1.9 became Ready for Distribution on Nov 12, 2024 at 3:28 AM, and that version 1.10 became Ready for Distribution on February 18, 2025 at 8:10 AM. However, I haven't been able to find to get any of these detailed status history via the App Store Connect API. Specifically I'm looking for release, or "go live", dates for the various versions of a given app. I'd have expected one of these API endpoints, or some combination thereof, to include this information in some way, but I'm just not finding it: GET https://api.appstoreconnect.apple.com/v1/apps/{id}/appStoreVersions GET https://api.appstoreconnect.apple.com/v1/appStoreVersions/{id} GET https://api.appstoreconnect.apple.com/v1/apps/{id}/builds GET https://api.appstoreconnect.apple.com/v1/apps/{id}/reviewSubmissions I've submitted FB16730940 and also via TSI.

App Store Connect API
As of June 9, 2025 we are no longer able to automate the creation of our offline provisioning profiles that we used to do on a weekly basis for testing of our internal products offline. I am not sure if the isOfflineProfile was an undocumented attribute that we were using, or if it was deprecated or if the removal of that capability was an oversight. The release notes for 4.0 of the API don't mention a deprecation. https://developer.apple.com/documentation/appstoreconnectapi/app-store-connect-api-4-0-release-notes When making the request to the v1/profiles endpoint to create the provisioning profile we now receive the following response: { "status": "409", "code": "ENTITY_ERROR.ATTRIBUTE.UNKNOWN", "title": "The provided entity includes an unknown attribute", "detail": "'isOfflineProfile' is not an attribute on the resource 'profiles'", "source": { "pointer": "/data/attributes/isOfflineProfile" } }

Build upload API not yet available?
Dear community, in order to modernize our build pipelines, I wanted to try out the new App Store Connect build upload API that was introduced in the WWDC video "Automate your development process with the App Store Connect API". However, when POSTing to https://api.appstoreconnect.apple.com/v1/buildUploads, I receive the following error message: { "errors": [ { "id": "9fb916ea-4d26-4712-8c55-d1d4b5320bf2", "status": "404", "code": "PATH_ERROR", "title": "The URL path is not valid", "detail": "The resource 'v1/buildUploads' does not exist" } ] } Is this API not yet available or am I doing something wrong? If it is not yet available, is there an ETA? Thanks in advance & best regards, Yannik

Replicating figures from App Store Connect using Analytics Reports via App Store Connect API
We have recently ingested data using the App Store Connect API for: App Store Discovery and Engagement App Store Downloads I'm unable to match figures from fairly basic reports and I can't understand where I'm going wrong. For example: Running figures from App Store Connect > Analytics > Metrics > Product Page Views, with no filters, for a given date (e.g. 1 July 2025) - I get a completely different figure (smaller, almost half the volume) than when I try to use the data from the App Store Discover and Engagement report for the same date. For reference, I am looking at the sum of counts when event = Page view and page type = Product page. It's a similar thing for First-Time Downloads. Am I missing something obvious?

Request Analytics Reports via POST Call
Hi everyone! When I attempt the Post Request using Postman, as shown in my attached curl, I receive the error "{ "errors": [ { "status": "405", "code": "METHOD_NOT_ALLOWED", "title": "The request method is not valid for the resource path.", "detail": "The request method used for this request is not valid for the resource path. Please consult the documentation." } ] }". I have constructed the JWT correctly as an admin with correct private Key and Unix Times and I am able to send regular GET requests without issue and I can view the dashboards in App Store Connect. The described POST request is being rejected, although it says so in the documentation: https://developer.apple.com/documentation/appstoreconnectapi/post-v1-analyticsreportrequests. Curl: curl --location 'https://api.appstoreconnect.apple.com/v1/analyticsReportRequests' --header 'Content-Type: application/json' --header 'Authorization: Bearer XXX' --data '{ "data": { "type": "analyticsReportRequests", "attributes": { "accessType": "ONGOING" }, "relationships": { "app": { "data": { "type": "apps", "id": "XXXXXXXXXX" } } } } }' (using ONE_TIME_SNAPSHOT makes no difference) Is this a documentation error ? I'd be happy to hear about a fix.

[iOS 26 presentOfferCodeRedeemSheet] Custom Offer Code fails with "The code entered is not valid"
Hello everyone, I'm having trouble testing custom offer codes for my auto-renewable subscription in the Sandbox environment. I am using the modern StoreKit 2 API to display the redemption sheet: try await StoreKit.AppStore.presentOfferCodeRedeemSheet(in: windowScene) When I enter a valid custom code that I created in App Store Connect, the system sheet immediately returns the following error: "Cannot Redeem Code. The code entered is not valid. [environment: sandbox]" To be clear, I am manually typing the custom code string itself into the redemption sheet's text field, not using a one-time code link or URL. I believe my configuration is correct, and I've already spent a significant amount of time troubleshooting. Here is a list of everything I have checked and tried so far: App Store Connect Configuration: The Offer Code is marked as "Active". The parent subscription product is approved and its status is "Ready for Sale". The offer's eligibility is set correctly The start and end dates for the offer are valid. Despite all these steps, the error persists. At this point, I suspect this might be a temporary issue with the Sandbox environment itself, but I want to make sure I haven't missed any crucial configuration steps. Has anyone else encountered this issue recently? Is there anything else I should be checking? Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thank you.

I'd like to report an issue with the "App Referrer" source segmentation in the App Store Connect Analytics API.
I'd like to report an issue with the "App Referrer" source segmentation in the App Store Connect Analytics API. Issue Summary When retrieving impression data via the App Store Connect Analytics API using groupBy=["sourceType", "sourceInfo"], the impressions attributed to specific referring apps (e.g., Facebook, Instagram) do not match the values displayed in the App Store Connect web dashboard. Details The total impressions in the API and dashboard are completely consistent, with the report category: App Store Discovery and Engagement Standard_Daily. The aggregated "App Referrer" (overall category) is also consistent. However, the detailed segmentation data in "App Referrer" is inconsistent, with the report category: App Store Discovery and Engagement Detailed_Daily. For example: The web dashboard shows significantly more impressions attributed to Facebook or Instagram. The API returns fewer impressions for the same referral source. Furthermore, the API does not return any "unknown"/"other" referral source entries, and displays no data for presentations where the exact referring app cannot be identified. Therefore, the sum of all sourceInfo entries returned by the API is lower than the app referral source value displayed in the web dashboard. We have confirmed: This is not due to time zone differences—the totals are exactly the same. We used the same date range, region, and platform settings as the dashboard. The difference only appears in the detailed app referral source breakdowns (e.g., "Facebook," "Instagram"). The API does not return missing presentations under any category. Questions for Apple: Does the App Store Connect web interface aggregate presentations from unidentified or privacy-restricted referring apps into known app names (e.g., Facebook or Instagram)? Is it normal for the Analytics API not to expose these presentations when the exact referring app cannot be identified? What official logic does the App Store Connect use to determine and display specific app referral sources (e.g., Facebook, Instagram)? When the API returns fewer referral records than the dashboard, how can developers accurately reproduce the same detailed app referral breakdown data in their reports? Are there any known limitations or privacy thresholds in the API that affect the disclosure of sourceInfo? Other Information Endpoint: Analytics API (Impressions grouped by sourceType and sourceInfo) Metric: Impressions Grouping Criteria: sourceType, sourceInfo We want to understand how App Store Connect allocates impressions to specific third-party apps (e.g., Facebook, Instagram) in the dashboard, and why the Analytics API returns lower numbers for these referral sources.

Are Assets Packs actually downloaded in the background?
Hello, I have a question about when are asset packs actually updated? For Essential Asset Packs, this only during the keys included in the pack? As in, only when the app is installed for firstInstallation. And only when there's an app update for subsequentUpdate? For On Demand Asset Packs, is this only when AssetPackManager.shared.checkForUpdates() is called? Also, are any asset packs ever actually updated in the background? For example, if an On Demand Asset Pack has an update pushed, can the device automatically fetch and download the pack overnight? Or is updating limited to only when the app is active?

Analytics Reports API stopped generating daily reports
I am planning to build a service that automatically pulls Apple reports and stores them in my database. I was able to successfully retrieve the APP_USAGE report from the Analytics API; however, while it initially generated daily reports for a couple of days, the daily report generation subsequently stopped. The weekly and monthly reports are generated normally. I also checked the readReportRequest response, and the StoppedDueToInactivity field is returned as false. And also, when I compared the monthly reports between the API and the web console, the data does not match. Does anyone have a solution to this issue, or is there a recommended or updated approach for handling this?

App Connect Reporter Error Code 212
Starting on 1/30/2026, we started getting an error when using Reporter to retrieve a Subscriber/Sales report from App Store Connect. Our script was working daily perfectly for a long time before this. It normally pulls the report from 1 day prior. We have been troubleshooting and cannot seem to find any issues on our end. Is this a universal issue for other users too?

App Store Connect API ProfileCreateRequest is missing template property
Hi, In the web portal of developer.apple.com when you create or edit a provisioning profile there is a possibility to set "Entitlements", which is I understand also called as "Template". Our project has such entitlements, like NSE Filtering or CarPlay. But in the ProfileCreateRequest https://developer.apple.com/documentation/appstoreconnectapi/profilecreaterequest there is no possibility to provide such parameter, this is why we are not able to automate our flow of provisioning profile update. Is there any workaround? Or maybe I need to fill a request to improve this API?

Mapping settled Partner Share to individual subscribers via API
We are integrating with the App Store Connect API to automate ingestion of monthly revenue data for our app (MUBI), and are trying to understand whether there is a report available via the API that provides settled financial data at the individual subscriber level. From our research so far: v1/financeReports with reportType=FINANCE_DETAIL (region Z1) gives us actual settled Partner Share and Extended Partner Share at Transaction Date granularity, but rows are aggregated by SKU + Country + Date, there is no subscriber or individual transaction identifier v1/salesReports with reportType=SUBSCRIBER gives us an anonymised Subscriber ID and Developer Proceeds per billing event, but Developer Proceeds is an estimate using rolling average exchange rates and does not reflect actual settled amounts or withholding tax deductions The App Store Server API (/inApps/v2/history/{transactionId}) provides price and currency per transaction per customer, but requires a transactionId per user, is not designed for bulk analytical pulls, and again does not expose settled Partner Share Is there a report or endpoint we have missed that provides settled Partner Share at the individual subscriber or transaction level? Or is the separation of financial settlement data from subscriber identifiers a deliberate platform decision, e.g. for privacy reasons? Any guidance or suggestions on the recommended approach for reconciling subscriber-level data with actual settled revenue would be much appreciated.

ONE_TIME_SNAPSHOT Analytics Report Returns 0 Instances for Both Standard and Detailed Reports (stoppedDueToInactivity: false)
I'm experiencing an issue with the App Store Connect Analytics Reports API where a ONE_TIME_SNAPSHOT report request consistently returns zero report instances (for both Standard and Detailed reports) even though the request itself appears to be valid and active. I want to emphasize: this is not a privacy threshold issue. The problem affects Standard reports, which should not be subject to the same thresholding restrictions as Detailed reports. Environment: API: App Store Connect API Endpoint chain: /v1/analyticsReportRequests → /v1/analyticsReportRequests/{id}/reports → /v1/analyticsReports/{id}/instances Authentication: JWT with Admin role, App Manager scope Reproducibility: 100% — tested across multiple report categories, both Standard and Detailed What I Did: Created a ONE_TIME_SNAPSHOT report request via POST /v1/analyticsReportRequests. The request was accepted and returned successfully: { "data": { "type": "analyticsReportRequests", "id": "4431f553-1091-481a-8312-a2de920df806", "attributes": { "accessType": "ONE_TIME_SNAPSHOT", "stoppedDueToInactivity": false } } } I then fetched the available reports under this request via GET /v1/analyticsReportRequests/4431f553-1091-481a-8312-a2de920df806/reports, which returned multiple report objects. For example: { "data": [ { "type": "analyticsReports", "id": "r15-4431f553-1091-481a-8312-a2de920df806", "attributes": { "name": "App Store Discovery and Engagement Detailed", "category": "APP_STORE_ENGAGEMENT" } } ] } When I try to fetch the actual report instances via GET /v1/analyticsReports/r15-4431f553-1091-481a-8312-a2de920df806/instances, I consistently get an empty response I also tried the Standard version of the same report — "App Store Discovery and Engagement Standard" — and the result is identical: zero instances returned. This rules out Apple's privacy thresholds as the cause, since Standard reports are not subject to the same minimum-user thresholding that Detailed reports are. What I Expected: At least one report instance with a processingDate and a downloadable URL, since the report request is active (stoppedDueToInactivity is false) and was created as a ONE_TIME_SNAPSHOT. Troubleshooting I've Already Done: Waited 24–48 hours after creating the report request before polling for instances, as the documentation suggests data may not be immediately available. Verified the app has active downloads and engagement data (the app is live on the App Store with steady traffic). Tried multiple report categories under the same request (not just APP_STORE_ENGAGEMENT) — all return 0 instances. Tested both Standard and Detailed report variants — both return empty instances, confirming this is not a privacy threshold issue. Created entirely new ONE_TIME_SNAPSHOT requests on different days — same result. Confirmed the JWT token has the correct role and permissions. Verified via GET /v1/analyticsReportRequests that the request status shows stoppedDueToInactivity: false, ruling out an expired or inactive request. Tested with both filtered and unfiltered instance queries (with and without filter[processingDate] and filter[granularity] parameters). Questions: Is there a known delay or prerequisite before ONE_TIME_SNAPSHOT instances become available beyond the ~24 hours mentioned in the docs? Could this be a backend issue where snapshot generation is silently failing without surfacing an error? Are there minimum data thresholds an app must meet before Standard report instances are generated? I've seen several other developers reporting identical symptoms in these forums, across both Standard and Detailed reports, and across both ONE_TIME_SNAPSHOT and ONGOING request types — with no resolution so far. Any insight from Apple engineers would be greatly appreciated. Happy to provide additional request/response logs if needed. Thanks in advance.

Empty "App Store Purchases Detailed" Analytics Report
Hey there, I'm building a service that requires receiving accurate sales/proceeds data along with the campaign name. From reading the documentation it looks to be fairly understandable, but in practice it is not. I have been testing this for almost a week, and I never got "Detailed Report" for "App Store Purchases Detailed" analytics report. The same report for "App Downloads Detailed" is arriving normally, but not to for the purchases. I tested for two different apps where I have around 200 daily installs and 30 purchases on each. I would love to get any thoughts on this from an Apple engineer!

Get ratings without reviews via API
I am looking for a way to get customer ratings without reviews via the App Store Connect API. The customerReviews resource seems to only return ratings which are accompanied by a review. Is there maybe another way I am missing?
