App Group Not working as intended after updating to macOS 15 beta.
I have an app (currently not released on App Store) which runs on both iOS and macOS. The app has widgets for both iOS and macOS which uses user preference (set in app) into account while showing data. Before upgrading to macOS 15 (until Sonoma) widgets were working fine and app was launching correctly, but after upgrading to macOS 15 Sequoia, every time I launch the app it give popup saying '“Kontest” would like to access data from other apps. Keeping app data separate makes it easier to manage your privacy and security.' and also widgets do not get user preferences and throw the same type of error on Console application when using logging. My App group for both iOS and macOS is 'group.com.xxxxxx.yyyyy'. I am calling it as 'UserDefaults(suiteName: Constants.userDefaultsGroupID)!.bool(forKey: "shouldFetchAllEventsFromCalendar")'. Can anyone tell, what am I doing wrong here?

sshd-keygen-wrapper permissions problem
On macOS 26.1 (25B78) I can't give Full Disk Access to sshd-keygen-wrapper. Now my Jenkins jobs do not work because they do not have the permission to execute the necessary scripts. Until macOS 26.1 everything worked fine. I restarted the machine several times and tried to give access from Settings -> Privacy & Security -> Full Disk Access but it just does not work. I tried logging with ssh on the machine and executing a script but again nothing happened.

Sign In with Apple - invalid_client
Hi Apple Developer Support, We are implementing Sign in with Apple for our web application hosted on example.com. In the Service ID settings, we have configured the following: Service ID (client_id): com.example.service.local Web Domain: example.com Return URL: https://2db2-121-160-153-88.ngrok-free.app/login/oauth2/code/apple We also tested login via the following URL from our web application: https://appleid.apple.com/auth/authorize?response_mode=form_post&response_type=code&client_id=com.example.service.local&scope=name%20email&state=2f9gMY1rTe12-O7Wbnb7KWe504HQ0KWBSHTKHbg9ZEY=&redirect_uri=https://2db2-121-160-153-88.ngrok-free.app/login/oauth2/code/apple However, we’re receiving an invalid_client error after submission. Our questions: Is it valid to use an ngrok URL like https://2db2-121-160-153-88.ngrok-free.app/... as the Return URL for development and testing? Does the Web Domain need to match the ngrok domain, or is it enough to register the production domain (e.g., example.com)? Is there any propagation delay or approval process after updating the Return URL in the Service ID? Is the client_id strictly required to match the Service ID exactly? We would greatly appreciate any insights or best practices to help us resolve this issue. Thank you in advance!

App Attest not working in production - started today
Hi, For some reason all implemented (and working before) App Attest code has stopped working. iOS is unable to get attestation returning "Operations could not be completed. (com.apple.devicecheck.error error 4.) (serverUnavailable)" On https://developer.apple.com/system-status/ I can see green dot but I suspect that infrastructure is not OK. This is happening with multiple of our apps in multiple geographical regions. Can anyone confirm these problems or know whether it is strictly connected to App Attest service availability?

SecurityAgent taking focus for plugin in macOS 26.1
We have a custom SecurityAgentPlugin that is triggered by multiple authorizationdb entries. Some customers report that the SecurityAgent process takes window focus even though no UI or windows are displayed. Our plugin explicitly ignores the _securityAgent user and does not show any UI for that user. However, in macOS 26.1, it appears that the plugin still causes the SecurityAgent to take focus as soon as it is triggered. Is this a change in macOS 26.1 or a bug? Can we do anything to prevent "focus stealing"?

invalid_client
I'm trying to implement Apple Login using OAuth through the following URL: https://appleid.apple.com/auth/authorize I use the client_id parameter, which corresponds to the Service ID created under Identifiers in the Apple Developer portal. The problem is: an existing Service ID works fine, but when I create a new Service ID and try to use it, I get an invalid_client error as soon as the authorization window opens. I've double-checked everything, but I can't figure out what the issue is. Has anyone else experienced this or knows the cause? Any help would be greatly appreciated!

Understanding Sandbox Violations for system services
According to https://developer.apple.com/documentation/security/app_sandbox/discovering_and_diagnosing_app_sandbox_violations it is possible to view detailed violation reports for non-system services. Is it possible to do something similar for system services? I have encountered an issue where several (all?) of my Macbooks get into a sandbox violation situation (I assume). Below is in excerpt from logs focusing just on the sandbox violation. The errors are surrounded by XPC failures and errors. error 23:23:21.382263+0100 kernel Sandbox: Family(1316) deny(1) mach-lookup com.apple.contactsd.persistence error 23:23:24.385962+0100 kernel Sandbox: Family(1316) deny(1) mach-lookup com.apple.contactsd.persistence error 23:23:27.389910+0100 kernel Sandbox: Family(1316) deny(1) mach-lookup com.apple.contactsd.persistence error 23:23:36.408940+0100 kernel Sandbox: Family(1316) deny(1) mach-lookup com.apple.contactsd.persistence error 23:23:45.419593+0100 kernel Sandbox: Family(1316) deny(1) mach-lookup com.apple.contactsd.persistence error 23:23:54.432109+0100 kernel Sandbox: Family(1316) deny(1) mach-lookup com.apple.contactsd.persistence The above is just an except, and it seems that Family, imagent and searchpartyuseragent are trying to access com.apple.contactsd.persistance once per second or so and failing (there are also some attempts to reach com.apple.timed.xpc, but an insignificant amount in comparison to com.apple.contactsd.persistance). This in turn causes Diagnostics Reporter to start, and then end hastily almost every ten seconds. fault 23:23:05.903908+0100 Diagnostics Reporter Invalid launch. fault 23:23:16.038017+0100 Diagnostics Reporter Invalid launch. fault 23:23:26.136348+0100 Diagnostics Reporter Invalid launch. fault 23:23:36.274543+0100 Diagnostics Reporter Invalid launch. fault 23:23:46.414546+0100 Diagnostics Reporter Invalid launch. I have no idea how I did this, but I seemed to have messed up sandbox access rights to contacts for some system services?

Sign In With Apple - invalid_client
I am trying to implement Apple Login on the web. The language I am using is PHP. I have created the App ID, Service ID, and Key. In the Service ID, I clicked the Configure button for Sign In With Apple and entered the domain and return URL. However, when I click the login button, I only get an "invalid_client" error screen.

App Attest API – "DCErrorInvalidKey 3" after App or OS Update
Hi everyone, We are using the App Attest API to securely transition users to our new system. As part of this, we store the Key ID of the attestation key for each user to verify their identity later. However, we’ve noticed that some users are encountering the error “DCErrorInvalidKey 3” when calling generateAssertion. Importantly, the key was previously successfully attested, and generateAssertion has worked before for these users. Our questions: Could this error be caused by an app or iOS update? Is it problematic to link an attestation key's Key ID directly to a user, or are there scenarios where the key might change or become invalid? If there’s a way to mitigate this issue or recover affected users, what best practices would you recommend? Any help or shared experiences would be greatly appreciated! Thanks in advance.

Sign with apple
I have been working on integrate sign in with apple. I failed for a while. So I download the demo app from this link: https://developer.apple.com/documentation/authenticationservices/implementing-user-authentication-with-sign-in-with-apple And change the bundle id and add it to my paid apple developer account team. Then run it and test it on my all device. It always failed with showing sign up not completed and the log like below: Authorization failed: Error Domain=AKAuthenticationError Code=-7003 "(null)" UserInfo={AKClientBundleID=com.shuaichang.testsignin} LaunchServices: store (null) or url (null) was nil: Error Domain=NSOSStatusErrorDomain Code=-54 "process may not map database" UserInfo={NSDebugDescription=process may not map database, _LSLine=72, _LSFunction=_LSServer_GetServerStoreForConnectionWithCompletionHandler} Attempt to map database failed: permission was denied. This attempt will not be retried. Failed to initialize client context with error Error Domain=NSOSStatusErrorDomain Code=-54 "process may not map database" UserInfo={NSDebugDescription=process may not map database, _LSLine=72, _LSFunction=_LSServer_GetServerStoreForConnectionWithCompletionHandler} Failed to get application extension record: Error Domain=NSOSStatusErrorDomain Code=-54 "(null)" ASAuthorizationController credential request failed with error: Error Domain=com.apple.AuthenticationServices.AuthorizationError Code=1001 "(null)" authorizationController error: The operation couldn’t be completed. Apple Sign-In Not Returning First Name and Last Name Despite name Scope Requested
Hi Apple Developer Team, I am encountering an issue with the “Sign in with Apple” feature. While implementing this functionality in my dotnet application, I noticed that the user’s first name and last name are not being returned, even though I have explicitly requested the name scope. However, the email and other requested information are returned successfully. Here are the details of my implementation: 1. Scope Requested: name, email 2. Response Received: Email and other data are present, but fullName is missing or null. 3. Expected Behavior: I expected to receive the user’s first and last name as per the fullName scope. I have verified the implementation and ensured that the correct scopes are being passed in the request. Could you please help clarify the following? 1. Are there specific conditions under which Apple may not return the user’s fullName despite the scope being requested? 2. Is there a recommended approach or fallback mechanism to handle this scenario? 3. Could this behavior be related to a limitation or change in the API, or might it be an issue on my end? I also came to know that for initial sign in the user details will be displayed in the signin-apple payload as Form data but how do I fetch those form-data from the signin-apple request, please suggest I would greatly appreciate any guidance or solutions to resolve this issue. Thank you for your support!

ITMS-91061: Missing privacy manifest
I have these two pods: Frameworks/GTMSessionFetcher.framework/GTMSessionFetcher Frameworks/GoogleToolboxForMac.framework/GoogleToolboxForMac they are showing this error: ITMS-91061: Missing privacy manifest I've tried manually making privacy files, I've tried updating the SDK's too. I cant update them because firebase depends on GTM Session at a lower version and if I update, MLKit depends on toolbox (even though its deprecating) If I upgrade then the whole project explodes. What do I do. I need help. this is all I get and it doesn't help: https://developer.apple.com/support/third-party-SDK-requirements

Persistent Tokens for Keychain Unlock in Platform SSO
While working with Platform SSO on macOS, I’m trying to better understand how the system handles cases where a user’s local account password becomes unsynchronized with their Identity Provider (IdP) password—for example, when the device is offline during a password change. My assumption is that macOS may store some form of persistent token during the Platform SSO user registration process (such as a certificate or similar credential), and that this token could allow the system to unlock the user’s login keychain even if the local password no longer matches the IdP password. I’m hoping to get clarification on the following: Does macOS actually use a persistent token to unlock the login keychain when the local account password is out of sync with the IdP password? If so, how is that mechanism designed to work? If such a capability exists, is it something developers can leverage to enable a true passwordless authentication experience at the login window and lock screen (i.e., avoiding the need for a local password fallback)? I’m trying to confirm what macOS officially supports so I can understand whether passwordless login is achievable using the persistent-token approach. Thanks in advance for any clarification.

Clarification requested on Secure Enclave key usage across apps with shared keychain access group
During internal testing, we observed the following behavior and would appreciate clarification on whether it is expected and supported in production environments. When generating an elliptic-curve cryptographic key pair using "kSecAttrTokenIDSecureEnclave", and explicitly specifying a "kSecAttrAccessGroup", we found that cryptographic operations (specifically encryption and decryption) could be successfully performed using this key pair from two distinct applications. Both applications had the Keychain Sharing capability enabled and were signed with the same provisioning profile identity. Given the documented security properties of Secure Enclave, backed keys, namely that private key material is protected by hardware and access is strictly constrained by design, we would like to confirm whether the ability for multiple applications (sharing the same keychain access group and signing identity) to perform cryptographic operations with the same Secure Enclave–backed key is expected behavior on iOS. Specifically, we are seeking confirmation on: Whether this behavior is intentional and supported in production. Whether the Secure Enclave enforces access control primarily at the application-identifier (App ID) level rather than the individual app bundle level in this scenario. Whether there are any documented limitations or guarantees regarding cross-application usage of Secure Enclave keys when keychain sharing is configured. Any guidance or references to official documentation clarifying this behavior would be greatly appreciated.

XProtect makes app hang when running an AppleScript
I now had the second user with 26.2. complaining about a hang in my app. The hang occurs when the first AppleScript for Mail is run. The first user had to completely uninstall/reinstall the app and the everything worked again. Why does this happen? How can the problem be fixed?

Cannot configure Sign in with Apple – Save fails with 501 Not Implemented
Hello, I am unable to configure Sign in with Apple on my developer account. Whenever I try to: Enable/disable the Sign in with Apple capability in my App ID, or Configure a Service ID for web authentication, the portal does not save my changes. In the browser developer console, I consistently see this error: Request URL: https://developer.apple.com/services-account/v1/bundleIds/XXXXXXXX Request Method: PATCH Status Code: 501 Not Implemented This happens across all browsers (Safari, Chrome, Incognito) and even after clearing cache. It affects my entire account, not just one App ID. I have already tried: Creating a new Service ID → still fails. Creating a new App ID → still fails. Re-enabling the capability → save does not work. Different browsers and devices → same result. Has anyone else experienced this issue, and is there a known fix? Or is this something that Apple Developer Support needs to resolve at the account level?
