EKSource calendarsForEntityType returns nil despite valid calendars
Since updating to Sonoma and using XCode 15.0.1 to adapt my app's code base to deal with new requirement for Full Access to calendars, I am simply unable to find ANY valid calendars of type EKEntityTypeEvent despite having about 8 different EKSources available (which I can see and access in the macOS Calendar app), and which do contain calendars I used to be able to read/write to before I updated to Catalina. But the call to EKSource's calendarsForEntityType function always returns nil. I have successfully obtained Full Access permission (which in any case is obviously so because otherwise I would not get access to all the EKSource items). I've also rebooted several times. I have Calendar selected under Resource Access items for the app's capabilities. Does anyone have any idea why, or a workaround? Looks like a potentially serious bug at this point.

Developing Card/CalDav Server. Error with IOS Calendar
Hi.I am currently developing a carddav / caldav server. i can already communicate with lots of clients on windows / windows phone / android. Now i tryed syncing with iOS. Addressbook syncing works fine but the calendar app behaves strange. It syncs all the calendars and appointments and shows them correctly. But once syncing is finished, the calendars and appointments disappear completely. Anybody has a hint?My testdevice is an IPad 2 with iOS 8.3 (12F69)Thanks

How retrieve attendees associated with a calendar item?
I am trying to retrieve emails from participants in a calendar event. The documentation (https://developer.apple.com/documentation/eventkit/ekcalendaritem/1507140-attendees) states that this information is provided as as an array of EKParticipant objects. But, in reality, I get an array of EKAttendee objet. This object is not documented. It contains the information I'm looking for (email) but I can't find any way to retrieve it. Have you ever faced this problem? How to retrieve the email of the participants?

Refresh Calendars - not available without iCloud!?!?
Very frustrating... This is not specifically related to the beta, this is in the general Sierra 10.12.3 release as well, but it is not fixed in the beta either...I upgraded several users to Sierra only to find out that they could no longer refresh their subscribed calendars (webcal://) using the Refresh Calendars under the View menu, as it was greyed out. After getting so frustrated and wiping everything out with a clean install of Sierra, I see this is the case even on a brand new install, so it has nothing to do with the fact they were upgraded. It seems Refresh Calendars is not available to select UNLESS you have iCloud Calendars turned ON. Well, we don't want that, we don't use that, and I don't want to create iCloud accounts for all the users in the first place. This functionality worked fine in El Capitan, why was it broken in Sierra? The only way to refresh them is to quit and restart the app!?!? {SIGH}I am reporitng it here, and maybe will do the same in the General f

Calendar integers in english and alphabets in arabic
we are migrating our app to support Arabic language support but the requirement is we want the calendar/date object to display as missed. That is all the numbers in english digits and rest all the words like days, months should be in Arabic. I tried few options but at the end its resulting everything is in Arabic or in English but not the mixed as expected. Attaching the expected behavior.

iOS 11.2.1 - Wifi Issues for Exchange / Calendars
iPhone 7 (RED)Model MPRT2LL/AiOS 11.2.1 (15C153)Verizon WirelessCarrier v31.1Office365 Exchange Email installed into built in iOS Email ClientThis iPhone has recently been only able to download emails when on cellular, rarely would it update on WiFi. No connection error, just wouldnt download new emails. So we deleted the email from the phone, and reinstalled. Email started working ok, but then all the contacts and calendars were missing for both iCloud & Exchange (only deleted the exchange, never touched the iCloud installed, and yes, all calendar and contact groups were selected). When coming in and out of Wifi - Contacts could rediily be seen appearing and disappearing.Overnight, phone was left on cellular only, and the contacts finally came back for both but the Exhange Calendar is still missing. These bugs were reported back on 11.0.1 and 11.1. Any reported issues / bugs / fixes for 11.2.1??

iOS 13.3: Calendar app deletes the invitation mail upon acceptance of invite inside Calendar app on an Outlook/ Exchange/ Office 365 account
Accepting a Calendar invitation received in an Outlook/ Exchange/ Office 365 account from inside the native Calendar app of iOS deletes the invitation email. However, the invitation mail does not get deleted when the invitation is accepted from inside the Microsoft iOS Outlook client (calendar portion of that app). The invitation mail should not get deleted even if the invite is accepted in native iOS Calendar app on an Outlook mail account at the recipient. This is required to keep the invitation mail as an evidence for future and not delete it.This feature was apparently implemented in initial versions of iOS 13, but surprisingly removed from the current version iOS 13.3. Anyone else?

Calendar Component Quarter always returns zero
I'm doing some summarising of dated data from Coredata using @SectionedFetchRequest and SwiftUI List with Section headers. Summary options are by week, month, quarter and year, with processing by Calendar Component. All works fine (with a bit of extra processing for the week period description) except for quarter, which always returns zero instead of 1 to 4. When I finally decided to look at the documentation https://developer.apple.com/documentation/foundation/calendar/component/quarter there's an Important note saying The quarter unit is largely unimplemented, and is not recommended for use.. So why have that enumeration if it's known not to work? OK, so I now get the month and then determine the quarter with a switch statement.......
