App rejection reason :Guideline 5.1.1 - Legal - Privacy - Data Collection and Storage
Apple Support Message: We noticed that your app requires users to register or log in to access features that are not account-based. Next Steps To resolve this issue, please revise your app to let users freely access your app’s non account-based features. Reason why app need registration: The app is paid app but give free trail for month after that it asks the user to buy a subscription if the user wants to use the app further. I need user identifier (email asked on signup/login) to keep the track of user subscription. Besides, I also need user registration to save the article for future like if user bookmark the articles the record will be saved against his identifier (email) in the database. Any suggestion on how to approve my app?

App rejected due to incorrect purpose sting
Hello everyone, i'm having trouble to upload my app to Appstore, mainly because of the purpose string to enable camera and gallery access. My app is in Spanish, so my purpose string are this (translated to english):allow this application to use your camera?allow this application to see you photo gallery? The user is requested to use the camera and gallery in 2 different screens, one is a chat and the other is to upload a payment receipt. I can't specify a purpose string for one thing or the other without confusing the app user.Appstore tech guys keep rejecting it, so can you please tell me what shoud i use? i will do the translation no problem. This is the reported problem:Guideline 5.1.1 - Legal - Privacy - Data Collection and StorageWe further continued to notice that your app requests the user’s consent to access their camera and photos but does not clarify the use of the camera and photos in the applicable purpose string.Specifically, your camera and photos purpose strings do not provide specific e

Reply to How can I remove Air Travel selection from my app services?
When the app was submitted for the first time, apple has rejected the build with the following message:Per section 5.1.1 (ix) of the App Store Review Guidelines, apps that provide services or collect sensitive user information in highly-regulated fields, such as healthcare, should be submitted by a legal entity that provides these services, and not by an individual developer.Which refers to,(ix) Apps that provide services in highly-regulated fields (such as banking and financial services, healthcare, and air travel) or that require sensitive user information should be submitted by a legal entity that provides the services, and not by an individual developer.I remembered that I have selected the Air Travel previously, which is not the Category in the App Information section because I chose Lifestyle as the main category without choosing the secondary option.

com.apple.root.default-qos crash
Hi, I'm curious if anyone knows what I might look for in this crash report. I'm not seeing any functions in my application in any of the stacks so I'm stumped as to what might be happening. The action taking place is moving files from the internal hard drive to a an external USB3 2TB (SATA) drive on a default priority thread. Private Relay Emails Bouncing
Hi,Our company integrates third party sign ins (e.g. Facebook) so we have added support for Sign in with Apple as well. However, when testing emails sent from our registered domains (verified on developer.apple.com) the emails are bouncing with the error code 550 5.1.1 bad mailbox name. Our domain is verified and our emails are sent using SendGrid from those domains.Do you have a timeline on when 3rd party email services will be supported? If it's after the public release of iOS 13, can we get confirmation on whether or not the next version of our app must support Sign in with Apple to be approved? Thanks,Tony

Private email relay service is not working after updating the Developer certificates
Hello,After updating the developer certificates for my developer account, an email sent from our REGISTERED domain is not properly relayed to the private address. The email has been bounced back to our sender with a550 5.1.1 Relay not allowedOur speculation is, by updating the developer certificate will cause an direct impact on our associated domain, regarding the apple-developer-domain-association.txt.We need a clear answer for why our relay was not working, due to yearly updates for our certificate will always cause disruption for our service if this speculation is true and is unexpected from our end. Thanks in advance,y4m4p

Reply to App review with different authentication system
Your issue is guideline 5.1.1 (v):5.1.1 (v) Account Sign-In: If your app doesn’t include significant account-based features, let people use it without a log-in. Apps may not require users to enter personal information to function, except when directly relevant to the core functionality of the app or required by law.In the notes to App Review explain why the app needs an identification number with a generated password by a governmental entity (and) requires as well an email or phone confirmation to be able to login in the app.It might also help your chances of approval if the app opened and did something a little useful for the general public user without requiring the log in. If an authorized user then logged in the app would do much more.

You're right, I could not find a way to run this, whatever version of XCode I used. It is very unfortunate.Message is slightly different, but same problem:Module compiled with Swift 5.1 cannot be imported by the Swift 5.1.1 compiler: Swift_Playgrounds_Author_Template_for_Xcode_11.1/Template/SupportingContent/PlaygroundsFrameworks/iphonesimulator/PlaygroundSupport.framework/Modules/PlaygroundSupport.swiftmodule/x86_64-apple-ios-simulator.swiftmoduleProblem is PlaygroundSupport exec in PlaygroundSupport.frameworkThat's why we need urgently Swift birai API stability, promised a long time ago…See also:https://stackoverflow.com/questions/58654714/module-compiled-with-swift-5-1-cannot-be-imported-by-the-swift-5-1-2-compilerI fear the best option is to file a bug report.I finally found an XCode version that builds it: XCode 11.0 (specifically 11.0 GM2, build 11A420a). I could select the target LiveViewTest.app to launch in simulator.Readme states:The supporting content included with this template, including

Reply to Personal Data Permissions
> Does anyone know if this permission (a permission asking the user whether or not they consent to their personal data being collected) is required if we decide to store the data locally instead of uploading it to our servers? We don't want to scare users with a messag, especially since we're collecting data that is not really even that personal. You certainly need permission to 'transmit' personal data. You also need permission to 'collect' personal data according to 5.1.1 ii. If the message to the user indicates what data being collected is not really even that 'personal' it may not scare the user.
