1st App - iOS App Rejection Due to 4.3 Design: Spam
Very first app, rejected for Spam? It seems this is quite common. This 4.3 spam reason, generally means the app is considered low quality or it's already saturated, right? There are only a handful of Free dinosaur sound apps, so I can't see the saturated reasoning. My app arguably looks better and has a better UI, the rest are pretty dated or are pretty basic. My app has a video for each dinosaur, with is unique to my app, compared to all the others. All sounds are original, the rest use royalty free sources. I'm really at a loss as to why it's considered spam, compared to what's already up there. Any tips on how to get my app approved? I'm not exactly sure how to make it better or more unique than the competition. Thanks

Appealing 4.3 Design-Spam
Hi, Our business has recently been dealing with getting our app rejected for 4.3 Design Spam. I've sent an appeal and sent a follow up as we weren't hearing back. For context, we've been getting this as our rejection w.o any specific reasons for us to address. We've been in the app store over 3 years and have been compliant throughout and to suddenly get this while trying to push new content, fixes, and updates to our new users has put a hindrance to our business. All our code and designs were build in house (and or used from open source sdks) and we have mechanics that are unique to our app. We want to continue to be compliant, but to just be left in the dark isn't exactly productive of both of our times. Thank You

4.3 Design-Spam
Im Enrik Sulaj , a new developer and i have a small problem . App store review team is automated by bots, and since i cant find an solution to my problem . One of my games got rejected many times for different reasons , i solved all 8 reasons my game got rejected . In the end i got a big surprise , 4.3 Design-Spam . Even that my app is unique , inovation idea in tap to earn coin games it got rejected . I think Apple want only the old creators and the best ones , and for the new creators they make the road really hard .I have another game that got rejected for the samereason even that is a new idea in car games , and guess what , the app review team is not helpful , they say the game is repackaged and duplicated . In fact i created the games with new assets , also i created assets and the assets are never used before .I m honest , as a new creator im starting to hate Apple , not as a company , but it has bad employes and bots that dont help you . Its the truth . Apple need to do something to fix this

App Review-4.3 spam
Our team has recently encountered a tricky issue: our game app was rejected during the App Store review process due to Guideline 4.3(a) - Design - Spam. We firmly believe this to be a miscarriage of judgment, as our game app is entirely self-developed and does not copy or imitate any other app. We've noted that the App Store review team may have considered our app to share similar binaries, metadata, and/or concepts with other apps on the App Store. However, we would like to emphasize that our team has invested a significant amount of time, effort, and creativity in developing this app. Despite our best efforts, our app was still rejected. We are sincerely seeking help and advice from the Apple Developer Forums community. Have any other developers encountered a similar situation, and if so, how did you resolve it?

App Rejection 4.3 Spam
Greetings, We have been rejected in the review of our App for a code non-compliance with 4.3 Design guidelines. Our App appears to be similar to others, and indeed it is similar in functionality and appearance. The others that are similar have been developed by us as well, these being customisations that are specifically targeted at the companies or accounts we deal with. The truth is that we have gone through several reviews of the other Apps before when we submitted them for publication at the time. We know that there are other development companies that customise Apps for different brands and in these cases there has been no reason for rejection by the Apple Store. We are beginning to think that there may be certain factors that are directly influencing the rejection of this App: The mockups or screenshots we are using are similar to those of another App we have published with the same functionalities. The backgrounds of the App have a gem of colours similar to that of the other App. And now we wo

Rejected Due to 4.3(a) Design - Spam
Hello everyone, I updated a new version to fix bugs and add more levels, but Apple rejected it citing spam design 4.3(a). Everything in the game is created by my team, and we did not copy or imitate any other product. We discovered that a studio has unpacked our game and stolen all our images, sounds, and many other files, even the file names match ours. Our game was released over a month before theirs, while they just released their first version a week ago. Despite being the original version, our game was rejected for spam. Currently, our game is generating $10k daily in IAP and we are spending a lot on ads. We are in urgent need of updating the game. I’m really frustrated that this issue has not been resolved yet. I have submitted all the information and evidence to the Apple Review Board, but I haven’t received any response so far.

Reply to Apple Practices Concerning Published Apps and Their Updates
Welcome to the forum. But the forum is not really intended for such warnings. It is to help solve issues. The fact is not that reviewer does not want you to update, it is that in the new review, he/she has evaluated your games as spam (for good reason or not, that's a question we cannot answer). Have you answered to the review explaining why you consider your apps are not spam ? You have certainly read the guidelines; it may help you understand the reason for rejection and better explain in your comments: 4.3 Spam (a) Don’t create multiple Bundle IDs of the same app. If your app has different versions for specific locations, sports teams, universities, etc., consider submitting a single app and provide the variations using in-app purchase. (b) Also avoid piling on to a category that is already saturated; the App Store has enough fart, burp, flashlight, fortune telling, dating, drinking games, and Kama Sutra apps, etc. already. We will reject these apps unless they provide a unique, high-quality exper

Rejected Due to 4.3(a) Design - Spam
Hi, I have a VPN app that was developed using Flutter, and all of the codebase was created on our own. We are not using any code templates or etc. However it constantly gets rejected due to this reason. My suspicion is that I was originally developing this app using another developer account, and we had submitted it to TestFlight before. If I remove this app from my older account, would it still be considered as a duplication of existing app?

Reply to Visual Novel Game Rejection due to Design 4.3 (a) Spam
To add to this case, and for better understanding of the issue, we've noticed that there's not been any activity on our servers during the second review of the game. The evaluation seems to have been taken without actually evaluating the in-game changes we've made. We did find server activity during the first review. The game had a dating simulation feature (think of profile swiping between fictional characters to unlock storylines), and we assumed that having a “dating resemblance was not in accordance to the 4.3 design guidelines (the one that explains developers should refrain from piling up on already saturated categories, such as dating). Hope this makes things a bit clearer. Thanks again for any insight or feedback on how to get things right.

Visual Novel Game Rejection due to Design 4.3 (a) Spam
Hello, My company is developing an interactive story game (or a visual novel with multiple ongoing and updated stories). We've added a few unique features to add value to our proposal, but we have been rejected due to Design 4.3 (0) Spam two times now. When trying to get more information from the message from the App Review team, we're only getting what we believe are automated responses Here's the message to our first submission: Guideline 4.3(a) - Design - Spam We noticed your app shares a similar binary, metadata, and/or concept as apps submitted to the App Store by other developers, with only minor differences. Submitting similar or repackaged apps is a form of spam that creates clutter and makes it difficult for users to discover new apps. Next Steps Since we do not accept spam apps on the App Store, we encourage you to review your app concept and submit a unique app with distinct content and functionality After the first rejection, we looked into the game and make substantial changes t

Reply to App Rejected
Welcome to the forum. If it is effectively rejected for 4.3(a): (a)ASR & NR Don’t create multiple Bundle IDs of the same app. If your app has different versions for specific locations, sports teams, universities, etc., consider submitting a single app and provide the variations using in-app purchase. Is it what you did ? there could be other reasons for spam (4.3(b)). what type of app is it ? There are some categories which are over crowded and new apps are rejected unless they are really original and high added value: (b) Also avoid piling on to a category that is already saturated; the App Store has enough fart, burp, flashlight, fortune telling, dating, drinking games, and Kama Sutra apps, etc. already. We will reject these apps unless they provide a unique, high-quality experience. Spamming the store may lead to your removal from the Apple Developer Program. so please tell more so that one can help you;

Guideline 4.3 - Design - Spam
Dear App Store Review Team, We have made the necessary changes to our app, addressing any elements that might have caused similarities with other apps, such as shared open-source components. However, our app is still being rejected under Guideline 4.3. We are unclear on the specific reason for this. Could you please clarify which app our app is being compared to? Is the similarity in the code or the design? If it's the design, could you provide further guidance on which parts are considered similar? With a limited number of UI styles available, we are unsure if it is essential to create a completely unique design to comply with Guideline 4.3. Our app distinguishes itself through its operations, such as having a 99% message delivery success rate and providing superior service. However, these differences may not be immediately visible within the app itself. We would greatly appreciate clearer feedback and more specific advice on how to address this issue. Additionally, we are curious why our a
