App keeps getting rejected (4.3 SPAM)
My app is completely unique, no other app has the main functionality of my app, and it was not bought template and coded from scratch. It uses Supabase for the backend, for context. I have no idea what to do, I just spoke with a review team member, and he kept saying the same thing, that he's seen similar apps, which when i clarified what the app did he just said that it could be a bought template which was used in fraud, and genuinely did not want to talk about the app so he basically cut the review shortly. I spent a month of my life on this app. I have no idea what to do. It does use Supercell images such as figures, but it follows all the Supercell Fan Content Policy guidelines.

My Game is Rejected (Has Unique Features and Art Style) - Guideline 4.3(a) - Design - Spam
Hi everyone, I recently received a rejection for my app submission on the App Store. The rejection reason was: We noticed your app shares a similar binary, metadata, and/or concept as apps submitted to the App Store by other developers, with only minor differences. Submitting similar or repackaged apps is a form of spam that creates clutter and makes it difficult for users to discover new apps. (Guideline 4.3(a) - Design - Spam) However, my game is quite different. It features a unique pixel art style and introduces fresh mechanics, such as cleaning tasks, accepting additional missions from NPCs, and even an idle clicker-style system where players can hire workers to gather in-game points. These elements differentiate it from other apps in the same category. My game's name is quite different as well: My Pixel Market Sim - AppID: 6742187384 Additionally, the code behind the game is completely my own, and I even sell a popular Unity Asset on the Unity Asset Store for this category. So, I can assure you

Resolving 2nd Repeated "Guideline 4.3(a) - Design - Spam" Rejection Within Six Months
We are reaching out for guidance after encountering 2nd repeated Guideline 4.3(a) - Design - Spam rejections for our WeNote app. Here’s a brief timeline of our journey: 2018: We launched the WeNote Android app on Google Play Store. 2019: We started promoting WeNote on YouTube and began development of the WeNote iOS app. Our progress was publicly visible on our Trello board and discussed on the Apple Developer forum. August 17, 2021: We filed an official complaint with Apple regarding a *** company infringing on our app logo, title, and description. The issue was resolved when *** agreed to update their app’s branding. 2022 Year: *** company is terminated from App Store. June 2022: WeNote for iOS was officially released on the Apple App Store. June 17, 2024: We received a rejection from the Apple Review team citing Guideline 4.3(a) - Design - Spam: “We noticed your app shares a similar binary, metadata, and/or concept as apps previously submitted by a terminated Apple Developer Program accoun

Reply to XCode 6 with deployment target iOS5 possible?
As far as I tested, when I set the Deployment Target down to 4.3 in the Info pane of the PROJECT setting, I can choose down to 4.3 in the General pane of the TARGETS. This may depend on other settings and I haven't checked all combinations, so please start checking with a simple new project.Anyway, I couldn't find any announcements regarding the deplpyment target from Apple, other than- You need to build your app with the 8.0 SDK or later.- Your app needs to suppert 64-bit.So, apps targeting iOS 5 should be approved for the App Store, if you can fulfill other requirements.Sorry, but the minimum targeted version of our recently released apps is iOS 6, so I may be missing something.

Reply to 4.3 guideline nightmare
Same here. We have done dozens of apps which serve a particular type of business. Needless to say we try to produce them in a way that it is cost efficient for those businesses. But each app has a totally different look and the content is always different (each one has different data and data sources).Yes Apple is reject saying these violate 4.3. We have been doing this for years, have 700 clients and service customers from small to the largest of their kind in the world. Apple review used to be great and smooth and fast. Now it's become one reject after another that makes no sense with this 4.3. reject being the latest reject fad.

Guideline 4.3(a) - Design - Spam - automatic rejection
I previously written here, and some advices were to appeal to rejection sending them message describing uniqueness of the app. Nothing is working. In short, i have a vpn app (of course by design shares some concept with other apps that are in the app store). But since the rejection i have completely changed the ui, added built in browser, p2p messenger so users could interact with each other without any interference. The app is completely free with no ads. I thought this is it, there's no way it would reject this time, but... i get a notification with rejection repeating the same old message. I'm extremely frustrated and don't know what to do. Tried changing the logo of the app, the name to Incognito - Messenger, VPN, app store screenshots. I've already appealed with screenshots describing unique features that other vpn apps don't have, but the message just repeats from app review team. Submission ID: 1a49ee0b-c4e2-4a36-8372-e4d3b9a8b13f Does anybody have an advice what i can do?

App Rejected Under Guideline 4.3(a) - “Spam” for Unofficial Telegram Client with Unique Features
Hi everyone, I’m currently working on a project based on the Telegram iOS open-source code. My goal is to build an unofficial Telegram client with Telegram’s permission (they have publicly allowed third-party clients under their open-source license). My app includes unique new features and UI improvements that are not present in the official Telegram app. Essentially, it’s Telegram plus additional features — built from the official source, but extended significantly. However, when I try to submit my app to the App Store, Apple rejects the build under Guideline 4.3(a) - Design - Spam with this message: “We still noticed your app shares a similar binary, metadata, and/or concept as apps submitted to the App Store by other developers, with only minor differences. Submitting similar or repackaged apps is a form of spam that creates clutter and makes it difficult for users to discover new apps.” I completely understand Apple’s intent to prevent low-effort clones or spam apps. However, in my case, this is
