My app is showing as size of 2.4 GB on the app store. Its actually 290 mb after fully installed on a device. If any user downloads the app on LTE / cell signal it pops a message saying that the app size is 4.3 GB. App Name : GOHUNT / Research and Huning Maps

Hello, We have two chat applications that are based on the same source code but are owned by different individuals. These apps have distinct names, color themes, and user bases, although they share the same underlying source code. Both apps were uploaded to the App Store over three years ago. However, when we attempted to update one of the apps recently, it was rejected for violating Guideline 4.3(a) - Design - Spam. The rejection message stated: We noticed your app shares a similar binary, metadata, and/or concept as apps submitted to the App Store by other developers, with only minor differences. Submitting similar or repackaged apps is a form of spam that creates clutter and makes it difficult for users to discover new apps. We are seeking guidance on how to obtain approval for this update. Any suggestions or advice would be greatly appreciated. Thanks

Our application was already on the app store before, we did not change the app icon from the first time our application was approved to the app store in 2017.But recently when I submit application to app store, we received this reject message: Guideline 4.3 - Design We noticed that your app icon is still identical to the icons of other apps already submitted to the App Store. Apps that use the same icon make it difficult for users to find apps and are considered a form of spam. We need help. Thanks

We have published an app to show biblical information from a book God's Word written in the stars for all constellations and sub-constellations. This is not a star gazing app and we are not duplicating any content whatsoever. We are building the sky image, the constellation images by ourselves and the content is from the above mentioned book. We have published the app 2-3 times but every time we get rejected owing to following design guidelines: Guideline 4.3(a) - Design - Spam This app duplicates the content and functionality of other apps on the App Store, which is considered a form of spam. Guideline 5.2.1 - Legal - Intellectual Property Any help on this is much much appreciated.

I am building my 2nd React-Native app which is a very simple Notes app. The functionalities are to be able to add, edit & delete notes. And, on the home page where the user can change the orientation of the notes to be in 2 column like a grid or just a list. My app has been getting rejected for Minimal design guideline & I don't know what to do to make it more complex. My first iOS React-Native app was just a single-page Weather app, again that was pretty simple. So, my question is what do I do? OR is the trick that I just keep doing little changes and try to submit & see which one gets accepted??

I submitted the application for review, this morning I was surprised that the application was rejected, reason 4.3 Design: spam. the application was developed by me, with unique code and design. Regarding Guideline 4.3 - Design - Spam, your app primarily includes dating features that duplicate the content and functionality of similar apps in a saturated category'. Our app is a dating app for anime fans, we feature Tinder-like swiping but have many distinguishing features. I think the tester had a bad experience due to swiping without interaction on the seeded profiles -- so I resubmitted so they can experience a=our distinguishing features like our anime recommendation engine. Anyway, is there a way forward? I've filed an appeal, but I would hate to miss launching ahead of Valentine's Day.

In principle the reviewer is right, my app is mainly a drinking game app. I added another play mode after the first rejection but the app remains as a card game / drinking game app. Now I want to prevent the situation that I work many more hours on this app implementing additional features and getting rejected again and again. Does anybody of you have experience with those kinds of rejections? I mean there is enough of almost any kind of app in the App Store; often apps have just slight differences in design or functionality between each other and did get the approval. Hey community, Spent a good two years crafting a multi-protocols VPN app for iOS and Android. Exciting news – the Android version's live on Google Play. However, hit a roadblock with the iOS version; it got the rejection stamp, and we've been trying to sort it out for two weeks now. Sent over four inquiries and even asked for a phone call with the Reviewer, but no luck so far. The rejection reason is Design 4.3, and they're talking about a similar binary, metadata, and concept.
