Should `input-push-token` be added to all live-activity based payloads?
I'm struggling to understand what the impact of this flag is. Docs only say: For devices running iOS 18 and iPadOS 18 or later, you can add input-push-token: 1 to your payload to start a Live Activity and receive a new push token. After you receive a new push token, you can use it to send updates to a Live Activity. But things were working fine for iOS 17. Right? Does it somehow make the OS emit update tokens faster/more successfully? Should I include in all start, update, end events?

iPadOS System Data Bug – Storage Ballooning 30–90GB (iPad Pro M4, iPadOS 17–18.6.2)
📢 Complaint: Severe “System Data” ballooning bug on iPad Pro M4 (iPadOS 17 → 18.6.2). “System Data” (formerly “Other”) grows abnormally from ~3 GB → 70–90 GB in just months. Deleting files, exporting PDFs, uninstalling apps, or clearing trash does not free space. The only “fix” Apple Support suggests is erase & restore — which works temporarily but always comes back within 1–3 months. 🔎 Problem Summary • Growth: 3 GB → 40 GB (1 month) → 58 GB (2 months) → 70 GB+ (3 months). • After erase: drops temporarily, then climbs again. • Multiple resets done — issue always returns. • Confirmed across users (see YouTube: ajXyDCLoLOA, cnOGeI8X-Fc). • Apple Support Case IDs filed (master: 102671138516). • Feedback Assistant report: FB19812484. 📝 Steps to Reproduce (consistent) 1. GoodNotes – Export/merge PDFs, sync large files → System Data grows even after clearing trash. 2. DocScanner (Lufick) – Import + delete scans → cache remains. 3. Apple Scan to PDF / Files – Scan 24 images, merge, delete originals

UICollectionView list: leading swipe overshoots in expanded split view for .plain/.grouped; .insetGrouped OK (iPadOS 26 b5–b8) [FB19785883]
Hi all, Sharing a reproducible UIKit issue I’m seeing across multiple iPadOS 26 betas, with a tiny sample attached and a short video. Short video https://youtu.be/QekYNnHsfYk Tiny project https://github.com/yoasha/ListSwipeOvershootReproSwift Summary In a UISplitViewController (.doubleColumn), a UICollectionView using list layout shows a large leading-swipe overshoot when the split view is expanded (isCollapsed == false). The cell content translates roughly 3–4× the action width. Repros with appearance = .plain and .grouped Does not repro with .insetGrouped Independent of trailing provider (issue persists when trailing provider is nil) Collapsed split (compact width) behaves correctly Environment Devices: iPad Air (3rd gen), iPadOS 26.0 (23A5326a) → Repro Simulators: iPad Pro 11-inch (M4), iPadOS 26.0 beta 6 → Repro Also tested on device: iPadOS 26 beta 5, 6, 7, 8 Xcode: 26.0 beta 6 (17A5305f) Steps to reproduce Launch the sample; ensure the split is expanded (isCollapsed =

BLE connection issue with iPad A16 – Control Opcode 0xFF
We are testing BLE connectivity between a custom device (nRF52832, nRF5 SDK) and the latest iPad A16. Setup: Peripheral: nRF52832 running Nordic’s SoftDevice (nRF5 SDK v13) . Central: iPad A16 (Latest iPadOS 18.6.2). Issue: During the connection procedure, the iPad sends a Link Layer Control PDU with Opcode 0xFF. This is a vendor-specific LL control opcode. Our peripheral does not respond, since the Nordic SoftDevice does not implement handling for 0xFF. As a result, the link stability is affected (connection may drop / negotiation fails). Observations: With older iPads and iPhones (A14/A15 chips), no such control opcode is sent — connection and notifications work fine. Only the iPad A16 sends this vendor-specific opcode. Nordic’s SoftDevice responds to standard LL control opcodes, but ignores vendor-specific ones. Questions: Is this 0xFF LL control PDU expected behavior on A16 devices? Should peripherals ignore vendor-specific LL opcodes, or is a response required for stable connection? Are there kn

AVCaptureVideoPreviewLayer not working in iPadOS26 when using Windowed Apps mode
In the current beta of iPadOS 26.0 (23A5297m), the camera does not function properly when the following conditions are met: The device is set to Windowed Apps mode in the Settings app. Multiple application windows are present on one screen. Using AVCaptureVideoPreviewLayer. On the other hand, UIImagePicker works properly. Is this a specification of iPadOS 26 that cannot be avoided? Or is there an official solution or workaround available? Normally, the camera feed should appear within the square frame of the lower window in the attached image, but it does not.

PaperKit and PKDrawing in iPadOS 26 beta
I’ve been testing out PaperKit from beta 1 up until 3, then took a break and on my return at beta 7 I find that the .drawing property of the PaperMarkup data model has been removed, i.e. a PKDrawing can no longer be added / modified on PaperKit. Also, the shape recognition feature seems to have been removed. I see this as a tremendous drawback. I filed feedback already: FB19893338 Please bring it back.

TabView with NavigationStack issue on macOS Tahoe Beta 7
I have an app using TabView with multiple Tabs using tabViewStyle „sidebarAdaptable“. Each Tab does have its own NavigationStack. When I switch multiple times between the tabs and append a child view to one of my navigation stacks, it will stop working after a few tries with the following error „A NavigationLink is presenting a value of type “HomeStack” but there is no matching navigationDestination declaration visible from the location of the link. The link cannot be activated. Note: Links search for destinations in any surrounding NavigationStack, then within the same column of a NavigationSplitView.“ The same code is working fine on iOS, iPadOS but not working on macOS. When I remove tabViewStyle of sidebarAdaptable it’s also working on macOS. I shrinked it down to a minimal reproducible code sample. Any idea if that is a bug or I'm doing something wrong? struct ContentView: View { @State private var appState: AppState = .init() var body: some View { TabView(selection: $appState.rootTab) { Tab(Hom

Provisioning Profile Missing com.apple.developer.alarmkit Entitlement – No AlarmKit Capability in Developer Portal
Hello everyone, I’m working with AlarmKit (iOS/iPadOS 26) and encountering a critical blocker. On the simulator, after adding NSAlarmKitUsageDescription to Info.plist, AlarmKit functions as expected—no entitlement issues. However, when building to a physical device, Xcode fails with: “Provisioning profile … doesn’t include the com.apple.developer.alarmkit entitlement.” The core issue: there is no AlarmKit capability visible under App ID settings or provisioning profiles in the Developer Portal. Thus, this entitlement cannot be enabled or included in a profile. Steps taken so far: Reviewed WWDC25 AlarmKit session and documentation. Reviewed Apple Developer documentation on entitlements and provisioning. Verified there's no AlarmKit toggle or capability in the Developer Portal (Certificates, Identifiers & Profiles > Identifiers). Submitted multiple Feedback requests via Feedback Assistant, but received no technical resolution. Questions: Is there meant to be a separate AlarmKit entitlement (dist
