sendApplicationIconsWithInfo failed
Hello,I've written a watchapp. The companion app runs fine on my simulator as well as my iPhone. The watch app installs and runs fine on my simulator. My personal apple watch didn't arrived yet. Due to this I have no real device to test an install myself. However - I've transfered the app to itunes connect. As a result of the review process I got a feedback that the reviewer can't install the watchapp. He told me that he got the error log:[...]May 26 08:11:53 HiPhone companionappd[245] <Notice>: (Note ) WatchKit: installing application, identifier: com.mobiletogo.InfoCenter.watchkitappMay 26 08:11:53 HiPhone companionappd[245] <Notice>: (Note ) WatchKit: application (com.mobiletogo.InfoCenter.watchkitapp), install status: 1, message: installation pendingMay 26 08:11:53 HiPhone companionappd[245] <Notice>: (Error) WatchKit: __96-[SPCompanionAppInstaller sendInstallationDataWithPath:dataType:name:info:installer:completion:]_block_invoke193, fileHandle == nil for com.mobiletogo.InfoCent

Reply to Exhaustive catch inference
I’m not a compiler expert, but for statically dispatched functions/methods (and possibly dynamically dispatched internal methods), I imagine the compiler should be able to determine an unambiguous list of error types generated by all throw & try statements within the function body, and associate this as hidden type information. Similar to the explicit error type annotations that everyone seems to be foolishly requesting, but automatically generated by the compiler. There are a number of scenarios the compiler wouldn’t be able to infer (which is what I thought was meant by the compiler attempts to infer) such as public non-final object methods, function parameters on public functions/methods, and public protocols - in this case you would still require the `catch {}`I’m starting to think if this was ever part of the plan, the increased emphasis on protocols/protocol extensions killed it. There’s definitely a big gap left in terms of how possible error types get communicated to consumers.

Using the Accellerate Framework for Data Smoothing...?
Hello,Does anyone have any pointers to using the Accelerate Framework for Data Smoothing...? I am looking to smooth data based on inputs to the accelerometers. I currently do some basic filtering of incoming accelerometer data points and then pass the data to a function that then performs some calculations based on this. I then would like to do some further data smoothing on the processed data.I currently have a prototype that uses a Python library that performs a Savitzky-Golay filter on the resulting data. I then use the output from that in my App. My prototype calculates data nicely, however I want to do this in either Objective-C / Swift. I would also like to use the Accelerate Framework for performance reasons. So far I haven't seen any pointers to how I could use the Accelerate Framework for data smoothing, hence my question. If any one has any pointers or documentation, then please let me know. Thanks,JoelPS : Not sure which Space this belongs to. Please move if I got it wrong...

Reply to Not launching
This is a pain, but I have to do the following once the app stops loading:1. Exit Xcode.2. Remove the app from the iPhone.3. Turn off the watch and iPhone.4. Turn them back on.5. Run Xcode and wait for the watch and iPhone to appear paired.6. Run the app.Once it's working, I can usually use it for an hour or two if I keep the app running while editing code, stop the app, and after it says finished, I run the new version without any delay. I also have the passcode disabled on the watch and keep it on the charger when powered. It's a painfully slow process, but once it stops running properly, it only loads 5% of the time until I repeat this process.Sometimes I have to reboot the Mac too.

Reply to How to read virtual address space of another process using vmmap?
In which context are you trying to do this? The ability to examine the address space of other processes is getting increasingly restricted over time (for obvious security reasons). If you're creating a shrink wrap product that you intend to ship to end users, you'll need to consider the potential medium-term compatibility issues and write a bunch of complex code to escalate your privileges appropriately. OTOH if you're just hacking away at something locally, it's relatively easy to get this working.Share and Enjoy--Quinn The Eskimo!Apple Developer Relations, Developer Technical Support, Core OS/Hardware

Unable to make new Bluetooth connections
Using OS X 10.11 beta 1 on a Mac Pro 5,1.Existing bluetooth connection (i.e. a connection to an Apple Trackpad set up in Yosemite prior to update to OS X 10.11) is present and works, but I am unable to configure new connections. When trying to pair computer with an iPhone 5S the phone cannot 'see' the Mac Pro, nor can Mac Pro 'see' the iPhone 5S. However iPhone 5S has no problems connecting to other Bluetooth devices. The Bluetooth hardware is clearly working - the track pad is operating without problem - which suggests the issue is with the 'discoverable' process.Anyone else seen anything like this?
