Dear Apple Review Team & Develpers! Could anyone clarify why Apple Reviewers, when rejecting the app under Guideline 4.3(a) - Design - Spam, do not provide any specific details? Each time my app is rejected, I receive a generic, automated response. In contrast, I provide detailed information and request clarification on the exact reasons for the rejection- specifically, what aspects of the app do not meet Apple's requirements. However, the responses I receive are always the same standard message without any useful details. Am I correct in understanding that the review process is entirely automated, with no human evaluation, resulting in repetitive, unhelpful replies? I would appreciate a more detailed response that can genuinely help me address the issue and ensure my app complies with Apple's guidelines. However, upon review, we received a 4.3 Spam rejection, citing similarities to other apps on the App Store. We scheduled a call with an Apple representative, who informed us that the issue was code-related—the same code had been used in other apps. Taking this feedback seriously, we spent a month modifying the code, but repeated rejections led us to a more drastic decision: we started over from scratch, avoiding templates, AI-generated code, and GitHub repositories. Our app is solely a Business to Business app. We have some client requirements for installing the test and production version of the app on the same device at the same time. What we would like to do is distribute the same app with different bundle ids. eg com.ourbundleid.appname com.ourbundleid.appname.test I know the guidelines specify to not do this under the 4.3 Spam section but this is a specific request from a number of our clients to have a duplicate version, given that its B2B is there a possibility for exemption for B2B apps? Hello team I submitted an app. It's a dating app. There are definitely some innovations and uniqueness in it, like it's inclusive to all genders, it's based on short video instead of a profile with 1 or 2 pictures. The user experience is definitely better than those 'swipe to like or pass' apps. But due to the 'guideline 4.3 Spam', it's rejected twice. However, our app is a legitimate business with a real user base actively requesting an app version. Been operational since 2020 and serves users in Australia, the US, Canada, and Brazil, with over 57,000 monthly active users (MAUs). This isn’t a reskinned template or a quick-fix dating app—it’s an extension of a platform that users already trust and rely on. Our unique features include: Disappearing Photos & Voice Notes – Messages auto-delete after being viewed for better privacy. Private Galleries with Revocable Access – Users can share and revoke access to private albums anytime. We explained these points in our App Review Notes, but Apple keeps rejecting the app with the same template response about duplicate content in a saturated category. Hey there, looking for advice. I am trying to figure out more details as to why my app is rejected. They say: 4.3 Spam (a)ASR & NR Don’t create multiple Bundle IDs of the same app. If your app has different versions for specific locations, sports teams, universities, etc., consider submitting a single app and provide the variations using in-app purchase. I know this is a unique app, I have spent several years developing it. When I got rejected the first time, I decided to spend time and re-design the interface such as removing my tab bar navigation structure and making it a hamburger re-designing the GUI to have a cleaner look etc -- even redesigning my login screen.
