Could not launch “App” (Xcode26.0 + iPhone6(iOS12))
Problem Details : Could not launch “App” Reproduction Route : Install Xcode26.0 > Connect to iPhone6(iOS12) > Run app We tried this solution but didn't work. To make Xcode 26 recognize and run apps on an iOS 12 physical device, you can manually add the missing device support files by going to /Applications/Xcode.app/Contents/Developer/Platforms/iPhoneOS.platform/DeviceSupport/ on your Mac, where you’ll see folders like 17.0 or 18.0; download the matching iOS 12 folder (for example, 12.4) from the community-maintained repository.

Reply to PSVR2 controller button quirks
Hi Justin, thanks for your response. A few comments: I am going to assume you have followed the first step in this article to declare your application's support for the Spatial Gamepad controller profile. Yes in ALVR. My sample application “TrackingAccessories” that I linked did not (it only included accessory tracking), but I just added it, it had no effect on the behaviour I’ve observed. The forceInput property on GCButtonElement is (at this time) only used for the Logitech Muse stylus, and will always return nil for all PSVR2 buttons. Good to know; in ALVR we have supported force input on the trigger through GCPhysicalInputProfile since the 26.0 Beta 1, and we’ll keep doing that for now since it works. This is not intentional. But please use GCControllerLiveInput to access PSVR2 input state. Cool, I’ll wait for feedback responses on any more information you may need from me (and/or the ALVR maintainers) to pin down the missing touch events. ALVR is important to the Vision Pro com

Chances of App Rejection for B2B Rug Cleaning App (with or without IAP)
Hi everyone, I am developing a mobile application designed for rug cleaning businesses. The app allows businesses to register, subscribe, and use various tools to manage their daily operations — such as job tracking, rug status updates, and team coordination. Essentially, our platform provides a SaaS solution specifically for professional rug cleaning companies, not for general consumers. I have a couple of questions: Since the app is meant only for registered businesses, and users must have a valid business account to access the core features — what are the chances of the app being rejected during App Store review? If I integrate Apple In-App Purchase (IAP) for subscription instead of using an external payment method (like Stripe), would that reduce the chances of rejection, or could there still be issues since it’s a B2B app? Any guidance or real experiences with similar business-use apps would be greatly appreciated. Thank you, Dinesh

iOS Speech Error on Mobile Simulator (Error fetching voices)
I'm writing a simple app for iOS and I'd like to be able to do some text to speech in it. I have a basic audio manager class with a speak function: import Foundation import AVFoundation class AudioManager { static let shared = AudioManager() var audioPlayer: AVAudioPlayer? var isPlaying: Bool { return audioPlayer?.isPlaying ?? false } var playbackPosition: TimeInterval = 0 func playSound(named name: String) { guard let url = Bundle.main.url(forResource: name, withExtension: mp3) else { print(Sound file not found) return } do { if audioPlayer == nil || !isPlaying { audioPlayer = try AVAudioPlayer(contentsOf: url) audioPlayer?.currentTime = playbackPosition audioPlayer?.prepareToPlay() audioPlayer?.play() } else { print(Sound is already playing) } } catch { print(Error playing sound: (error.localizedDescription)) } } func stopSound() { if let player = audioPlayer { playbackPosition = player.currentTime player.stop() } } func speak(text: String) { let synthesizer = AVSpeechSynthesizer() let utterance =

Xcode 26 won't connect to new M5 iPad
I took delivery of a new 11 inch M5 iPad Pro yesterday, and have been unable to get it to connect to Xcode so I can build to it. The iPad is running iPadOS version 26.0.1, and I am using Xcode Version 26.0.1 as well. My MacBook Pro is running MacOS 26.0 I enabled developer mode. When I connected the cable I was asked (twice) to trust the computer, and said yes. I get errors saying: The developer disk image could not be mounted on this device.; Error mounting image: 0xe800010f (kAMDMobileImageMounterPersonalizedBundleMissingVariantError I've tried disconnecting and reconnecting the cable, quitting and relaunching Xcode, and rebooting both the iPad and the Mac. I've also tried Clear Trusted Computers in the developer menu. That triggers the same sequence of having to trust the computer again when I connect it (the dialog appears twice.) Then I go back to the error message above in the devices and simulators screen. I've also tried the command sudo installer -pkg /App

Reply to Apple Pay fractional amounts for RSD
Hi @by_ptr, You wrote: Currency: RSD (Serbian Dinar) Amount: 3.45 RSD (two decimals) Result: Apple Pay cancels the payment automatically when the amount includes decimals, without even displaying the paymentsheet. Apple Pay aligns to Unicode CLDR and does not follow the ISO 4217 standard. Ensure your transaction amounts follow the CLDR minor units to resolve this issue in your Apple Pay sessions. Reply to Should UserSendCBD work on UAS interfaces?
I tried making a codeless dext which matches to my IOUSBHostInterface. It has a plist that looks like this: CFBundleIdentifierKernel = com.apple.kpi.iokit // not sure if this is required IOClass = AppleUSBHostMergeProperties // uses IOProviderMergeProperties IOMatchCategory = $(PRODUCT_BUNDLE_IDENTIFIER) // makes its matching unique IOProviderClass = IOUSBHostInterface // what I want to match against IOUserClass = force_alt0 // not sure I need this, because we don't need a user-space process at all // required properties for matching to a IOUSBHostInterface, // see https://developer.apple.com/library/archive/qa/qa1076/_index.html idProduct = x // my product's usb product ID, as a Number idVendor = y // my product's usb vendor ID, as a Number bInterfaceNumber = 0 bConfigurationValue = 1 IOProviderMergeProperties = { bInterfaceProtocol = 80 // 0x50 sentinelProperty = I am just a string } I can see in the IORegistry that my sentinelProperty is applied to the interface, but bInterfaceProtocol is
