If we use webView.loadFileURL(indexURL, allowingReadAccessTo: readAccessURL) on an iPad it loads the data and navigation works. But if we place two hands on top of the screen and move a bit, all click events are not working anymore. It works again if we call loadFileURL again. We filled a bug report: FB19812304

I’m experiencing a crash in WKWebView on iOS 26 Developer Beta 5 and Beta 6 with the following exception: CALayer position contains NaN: [nan 65] The crash occurs when the following CSS properties are applied to content displayed in WKWebView: -webkit-user-select: none; -webkit-touch-callout: none; This issue happens consistently whenever these styles are set, leading to the crash inside WKWebView. Is this a known bug in the current iOS 26 betas, or is there a recommended workaround?

As discussed and acknowledged here, there is a known bug with the FamilyActivityPicker. When a user expands a category that contains enough tokens to exceed the 50mb memory limit, the FamilyActivityPicker crashes. This happens quite frequently for heavy Safari users. An apple engineer mentioned on this thread that WebDomains shown in the picker are present based on the last 30 days of usage data as surfaced by WebKit. Is there any way a user can clear these WebDomains? Either programatically through our app or any other process we can guide them to as a workaround while this issue is getting fixed?

Hello, I am experiencing an issue when trying to open the browser on my Apple Watch SE 2 running the latest version, watchOS 11.6. When I attempt to visit any website, the browser opens and displays the URL at the top as if it is loading, but the screen remains black and no content is displayed. The internet connection is available, and all other apps on the watch work normally. This issue occurs only with the browser. I would appreciate any guidance or solution to resolve this problem. In iOS 26 beta 3, it was possible to have a UIScrollEdgeElementContainerInteraction work with a WKWebView's scroll view. But it stopped working in beta 4, and is still broken in beta 5 today. Hi, we are trying to move an existing application to a Web based SPA architecture with majority of the screens written in JS opening in a webview and using native bridges for the Hardware components. Before proceeding ahead, we just wanted to be sure that these kinds of applications are generally approved by Apple or not. If not, what are the guidelines to be followed if one wants to create an SPA application for iOS. PS: The content that will be served in web view would be controlled and hosted within the organisation domain and whitelisted for the mobile app only.

I'm developing a cross-platform application using Tauri, which uses WebView technology as the GUI renderer. On macOS, it should be using WKWebView. Based on my tests, all applications developed with Tauri can only run at 60fps on macOS and cannot take advantage of ProMotion displays to achieve a 120fps refresh rate, whereas the same application can run at 120fps on other platforms. I have submitted this issue to Tauri on GitHub, and it appears that this cannot be resolved through external settings, but only by modifying the WKWebView code to support higher frame rates. Is there any possible solution to this?

When I build the app and navigate to a website that has an tag (https://www.w3schools.com/html/tryit.asp?filename=tryhtml5_audio_all). I still see the error when I play the audio. It plays nonetheless, but the error is there. I'm not at all interested in actually playing audio in the background/when the app is closed/suspended. I just want the error to go away! I've tried different iOS versions (14,15,16,17), but the problem persists. Anyone know what's happening?

I configure proxy for webview like DispatchQueue.main.async { self.webView.configuration.websiteDataStore.proxyConfigurations = [proxyConfiguration] } It is fine in iosiOS 17 however, it crashes in iOS 18.3. And the problem seems to be related to the left side of the equation. I tried to call print(self.webView.configuration.websiteDataStore.proxyConfigurations.count) in async block and got the same bad access error. But if stop at that line of code and call po self.webView.configuration.websiteDataStore.proxyConfigurations in debugger it returns 0 elements. Did anyone have the same problem? What may cause the exception?
