App approved but EU distribution blocked due to DSA verification – is this normal?
Hello, I’m experiencing a situation with my app Waspp that I’m trying to understand. The app was approved by App Review on Feb 24, 2026 and is currently available on the App Store in the United States. However, distribution in the European Union (Belgium and France) is blocked due to the Digital Services Act (DSA) trader verification, which still shows “In Review” in App Store Connect. Some details: App Review completed: Feb 24 DSA compliance submitted: Feb 25 Status: Still “In Review” after more than two weeks Documents requested by Apple Support have already been uploaded via their secure link App availability shows “Cannot Sell” for Belgium and France The app is live and downloadable in the US Because of this, the launch of the app in the EU is currently blocked even though the app itself has been approved. My questions: Is it normal for the DSA trader verification to take this long? Has anyone experienced a similar delay with EU distribution? Is there anything else that can be done from the developer side to unblock the verification? Any feedback or similar experiences would be greatly appreciated. Thanks!

Delay in review
Hi everyone, I’m looking for some insight or advice on a persistent review delay. My app, has been stuck in the "Waiting for Review" status since Feb 9th. I thought it got glitched or whatsoever so I rejected and resubmitted a week ago March 2nd. and yet its still in waiting for review status. I applied for expedite review with case ID: 102825200414 I have already: Verified that all metadata is complete. Ensured there are no "Action Required" flags or "Metadata Rejected" notices. Checked that the "Availability" date is set to "As soon as it is approved." Confirmed the build runs perfectly in TestFlight.

**Apple Developer Program enrollment stuck for over a week — no response from support**
Hello, I've been trying to enroll in the Apple Developer Program for over a week now and I'm completely stuck. Despite multiple attempts and reaching out to Apple Support via both email and phone, I have received no resolution and no meaningful response. Here is a summary of my situation: I initiated enrollment and completed all required steps, including identity verification and payment. My enrollment was unexpectedly withdrawn without explanation. I attempted to re-enroll. The account remains in a pending/unresolved state with no approval or rejection. I have an app (already live on Google Play) ready for iOS submission that is being blocked by this issue. I have contacted Apple Support multiple times — via email and by phone — and have been advised to use the callback system at developer.apple.com/contact to reach the Membership & Enrollment team. Despite following this guidance, I still have no resolution after more than 7 days. Has anyone experienced a similar situation? Is there any way to escalate this or get visibility from the enrollment team? Any help is greatly appreciated.

MusicKit JS — Commercial B2B use case: SaaS managing song requests for venues
Hello everyone, I'm building Mixify (https://mixify.fr), a French SaaS platform for professional DJs and commercial venues (bars, lounges, event spaces). I'm looking for guidance on whether my use case is compliant with MusicKit JS policies. How it works: The Host (a venue owner or DJ) logs into the Mixify dashboard using their own Apple Music subscription. The Guests scan a QR code to access a web interface where they can browse the Apple Music catalog and suggest songs. The Host reviews suggestions, accepts or rejects them, and accepted songs are added to the playback queue. Playback is handled entirely by MusicKit JS in the host's authenticated browser session, connected to the venue's speakers. Key points: Mixify is a paid SaaS (starting at €49/month) — we charge for event management tools (dashboard, analytics, guest interaction), not for access to music content. Only the authenticated Apple Music subscriber hears/controls playback. Guests only browse and suggest — they never access playback. No content is downloaded, cached, or redistributed. We use the official MusicKit JS player exclusively. Venues are responsible for their own public performance licenses (SACEM in France). My questions: Does this B2B workflow — where a SaaS manages song request logistics but relies on MusicKit JS solely for playback by an authenticated subscriber — comply with the MusicKit guidelines? Are there any specific restrictions on using MusicKit JS in a commercial/venue environment that I should be aware of? Is there a recommended way to contact Apple Developer Relations directly for a formal compliance review of this use case? I've already submitted an inquiry via the Apple Developer contact form and email, but I'd appreciate any community insight or experience with similar integrations. Thank you!

In-App Payments
Does a payment that is processed within the app, that generates a QR-Code for the redeeming of a real-life-good (such as tickets, vouchers for drinks, etc.), fall under IN-APP-PAYMENT regulation, which would get a fee of 15-30% on top or can that payment be processed with an external mechanism such as Stripe?

Two apps, same name. How is that possible?
Hi everyone, I've exchanged several emails with support already and didn't receive meaningful answer. Everything sounds automated or the person responding is very ... not paying attention to my questions let's say. The problem I'm facing is I have released an app more than a year ago. Someone else released app with identical name few weeks after me. Developer support mentioned something about localisations and that apps with different localisations can have same name. To be honest, I don't understand that at all. Facts: both apps have identical name both apps are available only in english language according to the store listing both apps are available in same regions I wouldn't be bothered about it too much, but my "competition" is not really great and have received some bad reviews. The problem is obvious. Users are mixing my app with my competitor, writing bad feedback, asking questions about the other app and it generally is starting to be a problem now that my app is gaining more traction. It also isn't really great if you want to point someone to your app and you have to mention more details than a name so they can find MY app. So I have two questions. How the hell could someone release an app with identical name? Is there anything I can do about it? A way to fight it? I have no legal rights for the name obviously, but it isn't anything general and I did spend quite some time finding right name that wasn't already taken.

Account Holder locked out of developer.apple.com since January 18 - 9 support requests ignored
I am the Account Holder (Team ID: KCRXG75U7S). Since January 18, 2026, I cannot access developer.apple.com — it redirects to the "Need assistance" contact form. App Store Connect works fine. I have live apps on the App Store. On January 18, I received unexpected "Welcome to the Apple Developer Program" and "You're invited to join a development team" emails, even though I was already a member. After that, all access to the developer portal was lost. I have submitted 9+ support requests since February 11. Not a single one has received a response. Chat support disconnects. Phone support only creates new cases. Case IDs: 102835281938, 102824841068, 102819959750, 20000111583405, 20000111568823 Can any Apple engineer please look into this?

"Unable to Redeem" when downloading approved 1.0 app via promo code
My brand new 1.0 app is approved and pending developer release. As part of my release checks, I like to download the app store release using a promo code. On both iOS and macOS, redeeming a promo code for the respective builds gives the error you see in the screenshot: Unable to Redeem. This content is incompatible with the current software on this device. Update your device to the latest software version and try again. The app targets iOS 26.0, and my devices are running iOS 26.3, and it was built with Xcode 26.3. I'm relying on this feature for sending a build to pre-release media for reviews/articles, and am worried I'll embarrass myself. Other developers: Have you also had this issue? Do you know a work around for this issue? Apple: Please help! Is there anything I can do?

Apple Developer registration for customer company
We have tried numerous times to register a developer account for a company that is one of our clients. Each time, the application has been denied for a different reason. The last time, they said that the website ‘does not load,’ which is untrue. The website belongs to a government entity and is fully accessible from our country and from around the world, as verified by Google Analytics. We do not know what is happening, but we would like to know if anyone has experienced something similar and how they resolved it. Thank you. Translated with DeepL.com (free version)

Unlocking a demo mode without IAP
I am aware of the following in the App Review Guidelines; 3.1.1 If you want to unlock features or functionality within your app, (by way of example: subscriptions, in-game currencies, game levels, access to premium content, or unlocking a full version), you must use in-app purchase. Apps may not use their own mechanisms to unlock content or functionality, such as license keys, augmented reality markers, QR codes, cryptocurrencies and cryptocurrency wallets, etc. The app itself operates normally, but imposes limits after a limited time of use. Purchasing the full version removes these limits. This is a one-time IAP, not a subscription. My app is aimed at professionals within the entertainment industry, and will only ever be used within a theatre or other similar venue. I do not intend to provide any other paid route to the full version than via the App Store. However, what I would like to do is provide free use at certain events and to students in their educational venues (e.g. college theatres etc)- is it acceptable to use an external mechanism (e.g. a server based API) to temporarily remove the limitations whilst in that venue? Or, likewise, provide an extension to the free trial period for specific uses. Note this is not a purchase, as there is no payment. Therefore there is no revenue outside of the App Store (which surely is the point of the mandate to use IAP for this purpose) Also, it's not fully 'unlocking' the app (the user doesn't get the full version, they just aren't bound by the trial limit timer when within that venue or for a limited time) I'm aware that another route would be to put a different version of the app in the store that requires a username and password for use (for example) and then provide those credentials to log in - as there's lots of apps that follow that model, but it seems clunky to require the user to download a different app.

Can't get access
Hi, I purchased a development membership. On my dashboard it keeps saying "continue your purchase" and when I click my account information it says "PENDING". I received an invoice so I can prove I already paid the fee. I can't contact support because either "something is wrong with your phone number" or "this email address is not verified". I receive mails on this email address, I also log in with it. It's been 4 days since I purchased the membership but I can't do anything now. I hope someone here is able to help me out. Thanks so much for understanding.

Apple Developer Account Not Activated After 7 Days
Hello, I enrolled in the Apple Developer Program, and my payment has already been processed. However, it has now been over 7 days, and my account is still showing as pending/not activated. I have not received any additional instructions or requests for verification via email, and I’m unsure what is causing the delay. Could someone please clarify: Is this delay normal? Are there any additional steps required from my side? How long does activation typically take in this case? Any guidance would be appreciated. Thank you.

Users Unable to Rate App
Numerous people have told me that they tried to rate and review my app in App Store, but the ratings were not accepted. On their phones, the star immediately blanked out. In App Store Connect, I don't see their reviews. In the App Store, there are only a handful of reviews. The app has thousands of downloads and has been in the store for 2 weeks. The lack of ratings is hurting my App Store ranking. Is this a known problem? What steps can I take to investigate or resolve this?

Checksum of an ipa file
I am curious as to know if i calculate the checksum of an ipa file and upload the same to app store, and then after installing the app on my device, if i extract the ipa file and compare the checksum will it match? or will it vary from device to device, because of bitcode and app thinning slicing? Some banks have been showing ipa file checksums on their websites, and even inside their apps and showing messages like checksum matches! i was just curious as to know how would one go about validating this!? Or is this even possible, what about the checksum of the executable at runtime? Can we check this? will it match?

MusicKit JS — Commercial B2B use case: SaaS managing song requests for venues
Hello everyone, I'm building Mixify (https://mixify.fr), a French SaaS platform for professional DJs and commercial venues (bars, lounges, event spaces). I'm looking for guidance on whether my use case is compliant with MusicKit JS policies. How it works: The Host (a venue owner or DJ) logs into the Mixify dashboard using their own Apple Music subscription. The Host reviews suggestions, accepts or rejects them, and accepted songs are added to the playback queue. My questions: Does this B2B workflow — where a SaaS manages song request logistics but relies on MusicKit JS solely for playback by an authenticated subscriber — comply with the MusicKit guidelines? Wrote a new app but wanted it to be upgrade of oler app?
I thought that if I write a new app as an upgrade for an old app and have the same bundle identifier, when I uploaded it, it would automatically go to the original app. I was wrong! I have just loaded up a new app to the App Store. Can somebody tell me how to proceed so that the new app becomes an update to the previous app?
