On an Intel Mac, in Photos show the information window, then click + to add a face circle. Enlarge the view, then drag to position the circle. The position and size of the circle are unstable, as is text typed into the Name field of the circle. Try to type a name in the name text field. Sometimes the text disappears, then later reappears. The reappearing text can be from various bits of text that previously were typed. In expanded view sometimes dragging the circle causes Photos to crash, more often the circle jumps to some position other than where it was dragged, or where it was before dragging. While dragging to move the entire circle can cause the circle to jump to unpredictable locations or crash, making the circle larger or smaller does not cause a crash, so long as the position is not changed. In some cases the new location to which the circle jumps can be outside the pane that contains the photo's image. This seems to resemble the bug enabling CVE-2024-11691: Out-of-bounds write in Apple GPU drivers via WebGL. That bug is said to involve WebGL operations on Apple silicon M series devices, and thus only affect Apple M series hardware. In contrast, the bug I am reporting occurs in Intel code on my MaPro7,1 with AMD gpu, and seems not present on my M1 MaBookPro. I have sent many automatically generated crash reports, and Feedbacks with extensive System Diagnostics etc reports. I have been sending such feedback a long time (years?) through several iterations of macOS. I tried to open a case with standard Apple support. I was told I could not because I am using beta software (macOS 115.2 Beta (24C5089c)), and that I should work through the developer program. So here I am. I think this bug should get more attention. Please advise me if there is a better way or place to post this.

I "upgraded" to 18.1 and then 18.2 and have been experiencing repeated mail errors on my phone. Numerous calls to Apple, restarting, removing, adding etc. Apple thought it is a gmail server issue but now I think it is an IOS issue. This is very very frustrating....any other simple solutions other than changing back to a 17 version?

I’ve not been able to save stickers ever since getting the iPhone 16. I can long click a picture and click “add sticker” but it only stays for a bout a second and disappears. Alternatively I can use the ”add sticker button” on the stickers widget and It will stay while the widget is open but does not remain ready for use. I bought a new 16 pro, tried to transfer by transfer on first startup from 15 pro max all data. I have 15 pro max on 18.2 beta. During the transfer process it requested an upgrade on the 16 pro to the beta. Now when I try to swipe up it doesn't open the code screen, as if I bring my finger to some part of the screen and the shutter immediately bounces back, for a split second I see the unlock screen with keyboard. (The screen and touchscreen were fine). The phone is getting very warm, charging. I never finished the transfer from the old iPhone. It turned out during the migration I got to the stage where it asked to upgrade to the beta version. I agreed, the phone updated and got this. Macbook can't see the new iPhone. In other words: When the app’s cellular data is enabled on the Watch: Apple Watch → (uses Watch’s cellular data to receive data) → App data updates on the Watch. When the app’s cellular data is disabled on the Watch: Apple Watch → (fails to receive data using Apple Watch’s cellular data) → (attempts to use iPhone’s cellular data to receive data) → App data updates on the Watch. However, starting with WatchOS 11: When an app’s cellular data is turned off on the Watch, it fails to receive data outright without attempting to use the iPhone’s cellular data as a fallback. This effectively means that cellular data usage for the Apple Watch and the iPhone can no longer be managed separately when the Watch is on a cellular plan. This behavior is causing significant issues for the app I’ve developed, as this separation of data management was critical for its functionality. It has led to major disruptions in sales. Is this a bug in WatchOS 11, or is this an intentional change? If it is intentional, I strongly believe users should be given an option to manage this behavior. Hi, i bought iphone 16 plus in mid of november and currently on ios 18.2 (beta 4). It was automatically upgraded in my phone. Now the problem i'm facing is the whatsapp notifications. the summarise notifications is not working for whatsapp only. when i receive the msg and my screen is on, i see 1-2-3 msgs on whatsapp icon but got the notifications after 10 seconds. moreover, when i'm texting someone and chat is open during texting i only see single tick on my msgs and when i close my chat then double tick appears. all other apps are working fine. only whatsapp creating this issue. i have reinstalled it, updated it did everything but problem remains same.

My post i the general forum was deleted because I am running on Sequoia beta. The issue seems to occur regardless of macOS version. MacBook Air (M1, 2020): Trackpad reacts to the slightest touch, either moving thw cursor or clickin. Obviously I have adjusted settings and it's still too sensitive. If I don't take my fingers completely away from the trackpad as I use it, I often find new windows opening, dialog boxes popping up, ads getting clicked on, etc. I have gone into trackpad preferences several times and adjusted everything I can find that ought to help and it doesn't. Disabling “touch to click” remedies the unintentional clicks, although I would like to keep that functionality of workin as intended. The other nuisances remain.

I'm working on setting app-site-association for my site. I've added the app-site-association file to public/.well-known/app-site-association and confirmed that my file made it to apple CDN. I've also checked it on branch.io. The problem is, when I head to my site I get a 404. I applied for an app to the store the other day, and It has been Rejcted due to the following reasons. ITMS-90433 Invalid Swift support - File libswiftCore.dylib does not have the correct code signature. Make sure you're using the correct signature, rebuild your app using the current public (GM) version of Xcode, and resubmit. Don't just change the code signature of libswiftCore.dylib. ーーー For the application side, Xcode 15.4 was used. but, only libswiftCore.dylib was build with Xcode 16. However, this is not a beta version. When implementing a build,"clean all" has been carried out. Is the cause due to an Xcode version mismatch? I want someone to tell me the reason.

I've been experiencing a bug when trying to open a file on a remote machine through File -> Open... -> Network -> Connect As... where the Name/Password dialog won't let me enter more than one character into its text fields. I'm able to get one more character in by toggling between the "Registered User" and "Guest" radio buttons, and it seems to fix itself entirely when I focus on another window before entering my credentials. Once it is "fixed", it doesn't happen again until the machine's restarted. I was able to reproduce this on 15.1 and 15.1.1, but not on 15.0.1 (I do not currently have access to a machine running 15.2). Here are some reproduction steps: (You will need a shared computer on LAN) Restart your machine (un-check reopen windows when logging back in) Open TextEdit From the Menu Bar, click “File > Open...” Select “Network” from the Open Dialog’s sidebar Select your shared computer on LAN and click “Connect As…” Try typing in the password field. This will only allow the first key press to produce a character in the text field.
