EAP-TLS Wi-Fi and VPN Certificate Authentication – Unexpected Keychain Prompts on macOS
Hello all, We are in the process of deploying EAP-TLS Wi-Fi authentication across our corporate environment for both Windows and macOS devices. All endpoints are managed via Workspace ONE. As part of our macOS configuration, we are pushing device certificates to the login keychain of managed MacBooks. For testing purposes, we have explicitly set the Access Control List (ACL) of the associated private key to allow all applications access. This includes: eapolclient, which handles the EAP-TLS handshake for Wi-Fi panGPS, which is responsible for establishing the GlobalProtect VPN connection (we are using certificate-based authentication with pre-logon enabled) Additionally, we have configured and deployed a Wi-Fi profile via Workspace ONE to prevent users from having to manually select their device certificate - basically the identity preference card in Keychain Access. Despite these settings, we are still encountering Keychain Access prompts when eapolclient attempts to access the private key. This happens even though the key is configured to allow all applications access. This behavior is unexpected, and we’re trying to understand why these prompts persist. Has anyone encountered similar behavior on macOS, or is there something we're missing in terms of permissions or keychain configuration that could be causing this? We would greatly appreciate any insight or guidance. Thank you, Kyo

Selling your first app
How long was it between putting your first app on the App Store (that had a paid component to it like IAPs) and getting your first sale? I'm working on an app at the moment that I plan on putting up for a small one time fee. I'm curious to know what people's different experiences were with this. What was your app and how did it go?

Disk Utility / diskutil Partition Freezes
Hello Apple Developer Community, I'm encountering a persistent issue while attempting to create a new partition on my Mac, and I'm hoping to get some assistance or insights from anyone who might have faced a similar problem. Issue Description: I'm trying to partition my internal drive. I initially used Disk Utility.app for this purpose. The partitioning process starts, but consistently freezes when it reaches approximately 10-20% completion. I've left it running overnight (for over 9 hours), but there was no progress, and the application remained unresponsive at that percentage. After several attempts with Disk Utility, I decided to try using the diskutil commands in Terminal to see if that would yield a different result. I used commands such as diskutil apfs resizeContainer and diskutil partitionDisk. Unfortunately, these commands also result in the same behavior: the process starts, reports progress up to about 10-20%, and then completely freezes without any further output or completion, requiring me to force-quit Terminal. Mac Model: Apple M4 Pro MacOS Version: Sequoia 15.6

NFC-Based Peer-to-Peer Payments in iOS
Dear Community, We are in the process of developing a mobile banking application and have a key requirement related to NFC-based peer-to-peer (P2P) transactions. Our goal is to enable secure and seamless money transfers between two devices using NFC. Business Requirement: The application will provide a feature where users can initiate money transfers via NFC. The sender starts an NFC payment session from their device. Simultaneously, the receiver starts an NFC session to accept the payment. The sender's device should be able to detect the receiver’s NFC tag and process the transaction securely. We would like to confirm whether iOS supports such a use case. Your guidance on the feasibility of this feature, along with any technical or policy-related considerations, would be highly valuable. Looking forward to your response.

iPadOS26 DFU Mode not showing in Finder
iPadOS 26 Dev Beta 1 - need to do a restore via DFU mode. I made sure iPad in normal mode shows up in Finder and I can see device details. When I boot into DFU mode (I have kept the ipad connected to mac), it does not show up in Finder. No matter what combination of plugging/unplugging cables, rebooting, again into DFU mode, it will not show up in Finder. Looking for steps to resolve this, or do I need to wait until beta 2 to resolve this?

Can't Access App Store Connect
Hi, I am a new user here, I have created my apple developer account and purchased an apple developer membership for a year. I have received my web order details and also the invoice few days ago but when I try to go to App Store Connect it won't let me in. I have contacted the apple developer support 3 days ago but I did not received any response yet. It's frustrating. I do not know much how to navigate on these apple products and devices so I am kind of lost here. Your help or advice, would be greatly appreciated. Btw, I believed I have already enrolled in this apple developer membership because every time I tried to click enrol it leads me to another purchase membership page which I have already paid, so I ended up clicking the withdraw membership instead of clicking the purchase tab. Thank you in advance to those who are able to address this concern.

WWDC26 beta cellular issues
So recently, last week, ive updated to the Dev Beta of ios 26. This began the very issue of my cellular data. I woke up to a warning symbol where my cellular bars should be, telling me there was something wrong with my antenna or carrier when in reality there was no problem with any of those problems and took up about 53% of my storage. This is absolutely insane and unacceptable.

macos system error
Under multiple display screens (left and right screens), when a commonly used app application clicks "Window" -> "Move to..." When it comes to this, the app cannot be completely moved to the other window but instead moves to the middle of the two Windows for display. Is this a bug of the system?

i0S26 issue with CarPlay
I just upgraded to iOS 26.0 Now when I use car play, the text messages do not show up, only the notification tone on my phone alarms. So now when I get texts while driving, I need to read my phone to read the text. I tried all the solutions within settings but this is a BIG DRAWBACK compared to the old iOS.

In rare VoIP calls, B can’t hear A, but A can hear B — audio input issue on iOS?
Hi everyone, We’re seeing a rare but frustrating issue in our iOS VoIP app and would appreciate any advice. What’s happening: In some VoIP calls between two users (let’s say A and B), B can’t hear A’s voice, but A can still hear B just fine. It doesn’t happen often, but once it does, the issue persists until the device is restarted. Users who experience this issue typically have other voice or conferencing apps installed and actively use them. They report that when our app runs into this problem, those other apps continue to work normally. ⸻ What we’ve ruled out: • AVAudioSession has microphone permission, and audio input works under normal conditions • Network conditions are stable • App-side logic seems solid — the issue occurs extremely rarely (e.g., 1 out of several thousand calls), making it unlikely to be caused by a consistent bug in our call flow ⸻ What we’ve tried to fix it (all ineffective): Restarting the call — no effect Force-quitting and relaunching the app — no effect Toggling Bluetooth: disconnecting and reconnecting audio route, or switching back to built-in mic — no effect Replugging wired headphones or switching to the default iPhone audio input — no effect ⸻ What actually works (so far): • Restarting the device — this is the only action that reliably fixes the issue ⸻ What we’re looking for help with: 1. Does this sound like an iOS-level AVAudioSession routing or audio stack issue? 2. Is there any way to recover from this state without rebooting the device — either through iOS system settings or programmatically? 3. Are there any known audio routing or input bugs in iOS that match this behavior? Thanks in advance — any suggestions or pointers would be greatly appreciated!

Multiple IPSW for same version
Hi Team, I just want to know the reasoning behind why there are two IPSW with same version and different build IDs. Example: https://ipsw.me/iPhone12,3 Version: 18.3 BuildIDs: 22D64 and 22D63 Also, in future, on what devices this kind of two buildIDs will be created?

iTunes Asks for an update that doesn't exist
I want to update my iPhone 15 Pro to iOS 26 from iOS 18.5. I downloaded ipsw firmware. But iTunes and Apple Devices App requires update version of app for update to iOS 26. But I use last version of iTunes / Apple Devices, which was realised 2 May, 2025. That mean Apple need to update their apps for adaptation it to iOS 26 update?

iPhone 13 Pro stuck in DFU/Recovery after failed flash.
Installed the iOS 26 Beta on my iPhone 13 Pro last night, hated it. I wasn't aware that there is a supported way of restoring back to iOS18.5, so I (foolishly) opted to flash the iOS18.5 ispw file onto my device using a 3rd party tool. Now, my device is stuck in a state between. Unable to flash, unable to use itunes to restore, randomly gives error codes during restoration attempts. Worries my device may be lost permanently! Please advise.

Making music….
Maybe a bit of a simplistic question, but…. Best ways to create music - programmatically - within an app? I have a few small, simple games that I would like to add some background music to. I’ve fiddled with AVAudio, SKAudio, and now AudioKit. I’m just not quite finding the holy grail of music generation. I don’t know if it’s more technique or tool. So I thought I’d hit up the pool of minds here for some suggestions…?

Developer Program Billing
Hi, I did get the renew invoice in email but there was an additional charge the same day / time for $6.19 from Apple , seems like it is related but cannot find any invoice in email or anything other than a charge line on the credit card. Does anyone have any idea what this additional charge might be? Still waiting to hear back from Apple.
