I used spotlight search for almost everything I do through cmd+space. However ever since i updated my laptop to MacOS Sequoia 15.3.1, the spotlight search won't give me app results: for example i type "flux" and will get just web-based results, not the app. I tried going into the spotlight settings and only enabling applications to be searched for results and got nothing. I tried the same with the Notes app, i get the same result, i get some notes i wrote as result but not the actual app. It doesn't happen on all apps for example Brave or Spotify work.

There appears to be a bug or a hidden feature where after sending a message in Messages and you hover over or touch near the back button in the top left, voice memo activates and starts recording. This is an unexpected behavior and it has been an issue going back several iOS releases to the current release. This has happened on various phone models, so it isn't limited to a specific model. In addition, (and yes, this does add a second bug/issue) there is a hidden feature where touching in the top left of a message thread, above the back button, causes the focus of the message thread to jump back to some texts/messages from an earlier time. This is unexpected and seems like it should be addressed.

Somehow sync is not happening on my windows machine for both icloud photos and drive. I have reinstalled the app 4-5 times every time same issue.

Sometimes, when I close the lid using the MacOs version Sequoia 15.2, with the configuration to require a password for 5 seconds, the system does not ask for the password as expected. This happens sometimes even though nothing preventing the system from sleeping when you close and open the lid, but it still seems like a security concern. I have an old application. It worked at one time. Due to changes in the user environment, it is now possible to download applications from the AppStore. I built the app and sent it for review. And I received a report that my app crashed at startup. I tried to reproduce the fall for myself, but it didn't work out. Another developer tried to start a screen-sharing session with me on my M1 MacBook Air this morning (Sequoia 15.3). He reported however that another session was already under way on my machine. I looked in System Settings and found that the "Screen Sharing" setting was grayed out, with the notation that "This service is currently being controlled by the Remote Management service". Access to the service is disabled however, and I have no way of turning it off. It's possible that the person who tried to help me got this session started, and that it then got aborted in some irregular way, but he see no indication of that and says there is no connection between us as seen from his end. This makes me nervous security-wise. Is there some way I can turn this off and ensure that I am not being screen-shared against my will, as it were? TIA, Howard

I am a startup founder based in India. Recently the iOS developer we were working with left the company in some what acrimonious circumstances. Post his departure from the company, he has made it clear that he will try to cause damage to our iOS app to the extent that it starts to crash.
