What's the latest on this issue of Big Sur slowing down or creating havoc with iMac Pro's? I'm running a late 2019 iMac Pro, 10 core, 64 GB RAM, Radeon Pro Vega 64X 16 GB, 1tb, still running Mojave. The upgrade to Catalina caused crashing, slowness and wasted time, so I rolled it back to Mojave and have not had any issues. Should I stay with Mojave or perform the upgrade to Big Sur? Thanks

Can anybody tell me why I can't finish the updating to Big Sur 11.4? I started to update it over night and when I check it the following morning it didn't successfully update.
Hy everyone today i have check updates of big sur. And found that, update was available but am confused on the update version that, showing Big Sur update v10.16 beta 2 size near 9.55Gb. So, is there anyone who update it. I things that update is for mac OS catalina if we see the version. If you and anyone update let me know that, is that update related to Big Sur or Catalina. And what you see the change in that update.
The new Messages in macOS Big Sur is a Catalyst app from my understanding, but I can't seem to build my sticker pack for it when I tick the Mac option in Xcode 12. The documentation seems to suggest that Mac Catalyst 14.0+ should support it when I look at the platforms available... Does the Messages app in macOS Big Sur actually support iMessage sticker packs, or is it a little too good to be true? Note: I am accounting for the fact that we only have the first beta of the OS and that, if there are updates to the SDK that enable this, it will come in the future.
I am not able to install MacOS Big Sur as it says there is not enough space on my MacBook Air. I have the following questions : How important is to install MacOS Big Sur? I use my MacBook Air for Logic ProX and Final Cut Pro. Is it like I must switch to Big Sur ? Can I install Big Sur on an external Hard Disk ? If so, would it be like having 2 OS - one on the MacBook and another on external Hard Disk ? Thanks in Advance for any suggestions! Arun Vedula
Is it support to install older version of Xcode(version 9.2 and below) in macOS Big Sur(version 11.2.3), Please suggest me what all version of Xcode will support macOS Big Sur.
I installed the Big Sur Beta this afternoon on an iMac Pro. When I try to run Windows 10 or KDE Linux guest via Parallel's Desktop, I am unable to log in because not all keys are working. I thought it must have been a keyboard dust issue at first since it was so selective about keys, but those same keys work fine in Big Sur as a host. Most keys are working though. I have tried to solve this by allowing Parallel's Desktop in Privacy and re-installing Parallel's Desktop. Anyone else experiencing similar issues?
Hello! I saw a little too late that the project is supposed to be run under MacOS 12. Does anyone get it to work under Big Sur (11.4) ? Cheers, Patrick
Upgraded Mac Mini to Big Sur and after installation Finder is not working, tried to reinstall in safe mode but problem persists any ideas how to resolve this problem?
I update my Mac Pro to OS 11 Big Sur but my adobe reader doesn't work properly when I open the app, it stop suddenly, I don't know what should I do, thanks!!
After downloading Big Sur, my 2018 MacBook got stuck at (what looked like) 95% completion. A day later, nothing changed so I decided to reboot. Everything seemed to be going well until I attempted to log in. For some reason, I can’t make it past the login screen. A progress bar will appear below my user name only to get stuck at about 65% completion. I’ve tried every kind of reboot, reinstalling Big Sur in recovery, first aid on all my disks, and reinstalling again after repairing disks. Nothing seems to work. Is anyone else having this exact issue?
Hi, We've got a big problem with Big Sur. The problem is about MDM. So far we haven't got such issues with any other macOS versions. Seems that Big Sur doesn't send iTunesStoreAccountHash value in response for DeviceInformation MDM command. Exactly same command works fine for all other macOS versions. Verified on beta 5 & 6 (didn't check that for previous betas). It's crucial for MDM solutions to know if any iTunes user is logged in on device. Did someone observe same behavior? Are macOS developers aware of that? Thanks in advance!
