Product.products(for:) returns one subscription group's products but not return the other
I'm stuck on this and genuinely don't know what's wrong. I have two auto-renewable subscription groups in one app. I pass all six product IDs to a single Product.products(for:) call. It succeeds, doesn't throw, and returns three products — all from group A. The three from group B just aren't in the array. No error, they're simply absent. All six show Approved in App Store Connect. [PlusStore] probe — storefront: USA [PlusStore] probe — OK ...plus.monthly (group A) [PlusStore] probe — OK ...plus.quarterly (group A) [PlusStore] probe — OK ...plus.yearly (group A) [PlusStore] probe — MISSING ...plus.founding.monthly (group B) [PlusStore] probe — MISSING ...plus.founding.quarterly (group B) [PlusStore] probe — MISSING ...plus.founding.yearly (group B) Retried three times with backoff, so it isn't cold-launch timing. I don't think it can be the Paid Applications Agreement, the sandbox account, a network failure, or a wrong bundle prefix, since group A comes back fine. I've checked the group B IDs characte

Reply to Accessing preferences in another app's sandbox - operation denied and NSAppDataUsageDescription never shows
Thanks, @DTS Engineer for your (as always) thoughtful comments. I agree that using Appex format would be ideal. I submitted FB24013514 (under macOS / ExtensionKit / Suggestion) which I hope was the right category choice. As for workarounds using legacyScreenSaver, I believe I have found one. While it is true that a .saver running in the legacyScreenSaver sandbox can not read or write data from ~/Library/Preferences/com.foobar.plist ...it appears that it can read data from /Library/Preferences/com.foobar.plist (the shared Preferences location) with this code: let val = CFPreferencesCopyValue(key as CFString, self.bundleID as CFString, kCFPreferencesAnyUser, kCFPreferencesAnyHost) So a possible workaround is for the installer to write data to this location, which the screen saver can then read. I'm not sure if this is a clever and legitimate workaround or a bad idea. It seems unlikely to me that Apple would decide to restrict read-only access to /Library/Preferences in the future, but I don't have a gr

StoreKit is not loading newly created subscriptions across multiple apps on my developer account
I am unable to load newly created auto-renewable subscriptions in the StoreKit sandbox environment. The issue occurs in multiple apps under my developer account and is reproducible both in the iOS Simulator and on a physical device. StoreKit consistently returns an empty product list without reporting an error. I have attempted to load the subscriptions in two ways: Directly using their product identifiers Using SwiftUI’s SubscriptionStoreView with the subscription group ID Neither method returns any products. Troubleshooting steps already completed Confirmed that the bundle identifiers and app versions match between Xcode and App Store Connect Confirmed that the subscription groups and subscriptions are in the Prepare for Submission state Added all required subscription metadata, including review screenshots Changed the bundle identifier in both Xcode and App Store Connect Created new subscription groups with new product identifiers Confirmed that the Paid Apps Agreement is active Confirmed that the

Newly created IAP products are unavailable in Sandbox, while old products still work
Hello, I’m experiencing what appears to be an app-specific Sandbox catalog propagation issue. Environment: Bundle ID: com.auroradrama.app App Store Connect App ID: 6786937298 StoreKit 2 Testing with a Sandbox Apple Account on a physical device An older product can still be fetched successfully: com.heroon.aurora.vip.year However, all newly created products return an empty result from Product.products(for:). Examples: com.auroradrama.pay.en.a.vip.week com.auroradrama.pay.en.a.coin.t1 com.auroradrama.test.coin001 The last product was created manually in the App Store Connect web interface, while the others were created through the App Store Connect API. Therefore, this does not appear to be specific to API-created products. I also tested the new prod

How to handle App Store Review for an enterprise MDM Agent app dependent on ManagedAppConfiguration (Guideline 2.1 & 5.5)?
Hi everyone, We are currently preparing to submit an enterprise MDM (Mobile Device Management) agent/client application to the App Store. We would like to seek advice or best practices from the community and Apple engineers on how to handle the App Review process for this type of application. https://postimg.cc/kBLFWB3t Our production workflow is as follows: The target device is enrolled into our MDM server. The server then deploys our agent app to the device, attaching its ManagedAppConfiguration payload during installation. The app is launched and successfully reads the configuration. If the app is launched standalone (without being deployed and configured by our MDM server), it naturally starts in an Unconfigured state and displays Application not configured. Please register your device or contact the administrator. Since App Reviewers do not enroll their test devices into our MDM server, they will only see the Unconfigured screen when launching the app during the review. Our questions are: How does the Ap

Approved non-consumable IAP still returns an empty product list in TestFlight and macOS sandbox after 24+ hours
I’m seeing an App Store Connect / StoreKit product-availability issue for a universal iOS + macOS app. Product ID: com.vincentchu.VideoAtlas.pro.lifetime The product is a one-time, non-consumable lifetime purchase. Current state: Both iOS and macOS apps are approved. The IAP status is Approved. I waited more than 24 hours after IAP approval before retesting. The IAP is configured for the universal app, is available in 175 storefronts, and has an effective price. Paid Applications agreement, tax, and banking are active; this account already has other paid apps. In-App Purchase capability is enabled for both targets. The product ID exactly matches the App Store Connect product ID. Production schemes have StoreKit Configuration: None. iOS is tested from TestFlight, so it uses StoreKit sandbox. macOS is tested from a development-signed build against sandbox, also with no local StoreKit configuration. The app uses StoreKit 2: let products = try await Product.products( for: [com.vincentchu.VideoAt

Sandbox errorCode 4040004 "App not found" — one app works, identical app doesn't
I have 2 iOS app products. One can fetch subscription product information normally, while the other fails with the error errorCode 4040004 'App not found' in Sandbox. The App Store Connect backend configuration should be fine, and the subscription code on the app side is the same codebase for both. I really can't find the root cause anymore — if anyone knows what's going on, please point me in the right direction. Also, I'm able to sync/download the StoreKit product configuration file from App Store Connect directly in Xcode, which should also confirm that my App Store Connect backend configuration is correct.

Accessing preferences in another app's sandbox - operation denied and NSAppDataUsageDescription never shows
macOS 27.0 beta 4 I have an installer app which needs to set a key/value inside a plist file during installation. This is for a screensaver that runs under the legacyScreensaver system, so the plist lives at: ~/Library/Containers/com.apple.ScreenSaver.Engine.legacyScreenSaver.x86-64/Data/Library/Preferences/com.foobar.plist Although I can see the plist file in the Finder, my installer app can't read or write it, and the NSAppDataUsageDescription string is not shown, nor does the OS ask the user for permission. Also, trying to do this via the Terminal app is also blocked (even using 'sudo'). I understand this is part of the new Golden Gate security system. In Golden Gate, is there a legitimate way to accomplish this so it works like it did in macOS 26 and earlier? I'd like my installer to request access, the NSAppDataUsageDescription string is shown, and the user can grant or deny permission.

One auto-renewable subscription always returned in invalidProductIdentifiers while its siblings in the same group resolve
We have three auto-renewable subscriptions in one subscription group. Two resolve normally; the third is always returned in invalidProductIdentifiers. Product A — annual, Approved-previously -> resolves Product B — monthly, Approved -> resolves Product C — monthly, Ready for Review -> NOT returned All three identifiers go out in the same Product.products(for:) / SKProductsRequest call, from the same binary, bundle ID, Sandbox Apple Account and storefront. No error is thrown, C is silently omitted. The only difference is that C has never been approved. Agreements are Active, StoreKit Configuration is None, the storefront is a region where C is enabled, and we have already tried availability changes, level changes, status changes, sandbox re-login and reinstalls over 24+ hours. Is a subscription that has never been approved expected to be unfetchable in the sandbox? The documentation suggests the opposite. And if approval is the prerequisite, is there a path that doesn't requ

TestFlight returned no subscription products until I added the group first
I ran into a strange issue while testing my subscriptions through TestFlight. RevenueCat returned the correct monthly and yearly product IDs, but StoreKit returned zero products. Pricing, availability, agreements, bundle ID, and product configuration were all correct. The problem was the order I added items to the App Review draft. I initially added the subscription products first and the subscription group afterward. What fixed it, Removed everything from the draft. Added the subscription group first. Added the monthly and yearly products afterward. The products then appeared in TestFlight sandbox and purchases worked. No new build or App Review approval was needed. Has anyone else experienced this? I couldn’t find this ordering requirement in Apple’s documentation.

Reply to Approved non-consumable IAP still returns an empty product list in TestFlight and macOS sandbox after 24+ hours
Maybe I should just open a ticket too. I have the apps approved and ready for release, but there's no way for me to tell whether the live app will work since sandbox/testflight isn't working. Local with storekit config works though.

For what it's worth you're not the only one having this issue and I've spent hours trying to debug it and ended up opening a case with Apple to find a solution. My app isn't yet live so I thought it might have been a sandbox/testflight issue.
