Reply to macOS 10.14 BETA 6 Breaks HP Printers
It is not just HP printers but also Epson Stylus Pro photo printers and my Dymo 450 labelmaker. Didn't anyone at Apple try printing anything before they authorised release. Does not send the greatest signals about the robustness of their testing procedures. Sent a bug report to Apple yesterday morning but still to receive a response.

iPad Air 2 won't charge
Since loading IOS 11 Beta 2 (15A5304i) I am unable to charge my iPad Air 2. It displays the This accessory may not be supported message. I have tried a couple of different lightening chargers to no avail. A hard reboot did not work either.

Reply to Apple Pencil Pairing Issues
Same exact thing for me. My wife bought this pencil brand new with her ipad. Used it MAYBE 6 or 7 times initially, and set it aside. She couldn't find it for a year. It somehow found itself in an old purse under the bed. So this went unused for a year. Same thing happens to me.....connects, then disconnects, states 3% life. Plug it in to charger, charge it, plug it in to ipad, and it again states 3%, connects, disconnects. Does the same thing wit her newer ipad, and my 2016 ipad pro. I took it to the retailer that we bought it from, and I was 14 days beyond the 1-year mark. Really disappointing to spend $99 on an ipencil that doesn't work after a year. By the way, this was the third one we have paid for. I had 2 for my ipad. I left one on an airplane, and bought a replacement, which I used religiously, daily for 2 years, until my dog chewed it up. This one, (my wife's), used only a few times, and then after a year, it doesn't work????? VERY DISAPPOINTED IN APPLE

TouchCanvas bug = source of Pencil pressure bug in 3rd party apps
Hopefully this is the right location. I couldn't find a section specifically about the Pencil, or touch input in general.Basically all of the 3rd party apps are seeing a pressure error where the start of a line has a constant placeholder pressure value (moderately large value, 0.33). The corrections fail to apply correct pressure data.Apparently this is the result of a bug in the TouchCanvas example app, which is more or less the documentation for the new Pencil-focused touch improvements. A misplaced NOT operator is causing corrections to be applied to points that don't need them, and corrections that are needed to be skipped. You'll find this bit of code in Line.swift in the LinePoint::updateWithTouch function for expectedProperty in touchProperties { guard !estimatedPropertiesExpectingUpdates.contains(expectedProperty) else { continue }What this is trying to do is bail on any updated touch event data if this point wasn't originally flagged as update pending for that parameter. Only points

Reply to UIViewController not handling Apple Pencil Double Tap events
I have found a possible cause and a workaround to fix this problem. I found out that my pencilInteractionDidTap is not called if the view-controller that contains this interaction is presented via my own custom modalPresentationStyle. (Using my own Transitioning Controller) If I change the modalPresentationStyle to a standard (.fullscreen) when presenting the above controller, the interaction works fine. The problem could either be in my own transitioning code, or iOS. I have not investigated that part. Also, when I was experimenting by creating a fresh app from templates, I found out that I had to pair my Apple Pencil at-least once even if it was already paired. Not sure if the pencil needs to do re-initialization in order to send the interactions to the new app.

Reply to Apple Pencil and iOS 11 issues
Reverted to iOS 10.3.3 and was still having the same issues, so I contacted Apple support and because it's just out of warranty, I need to pay 80% of the price of a new Pencil to get it replaced :( Seems like extortion to me, but I guess I'm SOL.

Reply to Apple pencil don't work on iPad pro with iOS 9.2.1 beta 2
I just updated my iPad Pro late last week and pencil no longer connecting or registering as a discoverable device on iPad. Spoke with Apple Care and they are not sure of the exact problem, recommending to restore to earlier version of ios. Will be restoring in the AM. Hope that works.

Reply to Two important feature suggestions that will benefit artists and Apple Pencil users worldwide
Hi Liguokai The best way to share feature suggestions with Apple is using Feedback Assistant. I suggest submitting two separate feature requests: one for customizing the pencil drawing offset, and one for the option to map game controller buttons to keyboard shortcuts.
