Reply to iPhone XS Max not charging
I'm in the same boat, iPhone Xs (not Max). Both it and my 1st-gen iPad Pro are on i/PadOS 13 beta 2, and both are no longer charging reliably.Additionally, my Apple Watch on watchOS 6 beta 2 isn't charging reliably either. My MacBook running Catalina beta 2 seems to be having issues too, but it's definitely not as pronounced as my iPhone and iPad, both of which struggle to get above 10% charge now. I've tried multiple chargers, outlets, and computers. For the iPhone, I've also tried with and without the smart battery case, over wired and wireless charging. No luck in any of it. The only reliable Apple devices I have right now are my desktop Macs and my Apple TV… I can't currently count on anything with a battery.

Reply to UIViewController not handling Apple Pencil Double Tap events
I have found a possible cause and a workaround to fix this problem. I found out that my pencilInteractionDidTap is not called if the view-controller that contains this interaction is presented via my own custom modalPresentationStyle. (Using my own Transitioning Controller) If I change the modalPresentationStyle to a standard (.fullscreen) when presenting the above controller, the interaction works fine. The problem could either be in my own transitioning code, or iOS. I have not investigated that part. Also, when I was experimenting by creating a fresh app from templates, I found out that I had to pair my Apple Pencil at-least once even if it was already paired. Not sure if the pencil needs to do re-initialization in order to send the interactions to the new app.

iPhone 7 warm to the touch during charging
Is anyone else experiencing their iPhone becoming warm to the touch during charging using iOS 11.0 Public Beta? My iPhone 7 never was warm to the touch using any previous iOS versions. I am also seeing an increase in batter usage despite all my attempts to turn off all the settings and features that are batter drainers.

Wireless charging broken in iOS 13 Beta 3
In iOS 13 Beta 1 and 2 wireless charging worked fine but it is broken in Beta 3:I'm using a (certified) Belkin Boost-Up Model F8J235 (for iPhone and Apple Watch). The watch charges fine even with WatchOS 6 Beta 3 but my iPhone XS Max does not. When I put the phone on the Belkin it looks like it starts to charge (flash symbol appears in battery icon on the iPhone) but like 10-20 seconds later the iPhone screen lights up and the flash symbol is gone. The Beloin LED changes from white to orange and no more charging does occur.Charging with cable works.Anyone else experiencing this? Is Apple not doing regression tests from one beta to the other? I don't like to see working things broken in a later beta (which should evolve into a more stable and not instable state.)

Reply to iOS 10 beta 3 heat issue
I thought I was imagining it! The house has been quite warm over the past few weeks (summer), but now when I charge my 6S+ in its official Apple-brand slip case, it cooks. If I forget to remove the lead when it is fully charged, it is still really hot several hours later. Funny thing is, that if I plug the phone in to charge while watching Netflix at full brightness, the phone gets quite warm, but nowhere near as warm as when it is charging with the screen off. I'm wondering if the battery is being overcharged and that's what is causing the extra heating?

Reply to Apple Pencil Pairing Issues
I have the exact same problem . The pencil not pairing and only showing 3% battery . its surprising to see that the issue was reported 3 years ago and since then nothing has been done . Clearly shows that apple only wants people to spend money and doesnt really value their customers feedback .

Reply to After Installing MacOS Big Sur latest beta update, My mac is showing battery service required warning in battery Icon.
Same issue. Class action may be in order. I wonder if ties to type of battery, but I know in my case with my MBA, I do not see an 'Battery Health' button. I was thinking possible I could unselect the option to ensure the battery could fully charge, only to realize that when I unplugged the computer shut off. For awhile it would just charge to 92% and get stuck. Essentially, it's not charging a completely good new Apple battery. Meh. This is not good at all. Come on Apple.

Reply to Need VAT when invoicing to Apple?
Technicall it's a Reverse Charge invoice in the EU. Apple has moved out of Luxembourg to Ireland so you won't need to pay any VAT.Just look up Reverse Charge and how your local tax authorities handle it (here in Germany you need to write a little statement that it's Reverse Charge and the VAT has already been paid by Apple). Doesn't matter if your registered for VAT or not. (Now you don't really need to send the invoice to Apple. I'm required to keep a copy of the invoice by my local tax authorities though so I print it out and put the print out into a folder. That's all.

iPhone Not Charging with iOS 14
I downloaded iOS 14 3 days ago. I noticed that the battery was running out quicker than usual. By the 2nd day, my iPhone X completely stopped charging. I had it plugged in for a whole night and it went from 5 to 8 percent. Is anyone else having issues with this? I just need to know if it’s an iOS 14 issue or if it’s just my phone.

Reply to ios 14 keyboard not appearing
This problem drove me crazy. Finally figured out that my new computer (Dell Inspiron) comes with an electronic pen that somehow connected to my iPhone's bluetooth. This pen (or any other external wireless keyboard) became my default keyboard so my phone's keyboard would not appear. If you have this problem, turn off your bluetooth and see if the problem goes away. If it does, EURIKA...you know where the problem is. Hope this is helpful.
