macOS Tahoe: Denying iCloud access leaves users permanently locked out – no UI recovery path (Regression from Sequoia)
Hi, I'm the developer of Mail Signature (MAS, bundle ID: de.metaflash.mail-signature), a Mac app that uses iCloud Drive to sync email signatures. On macOS Tahoe, when a user denies the iCloud access permission dialog on first launch, there is absolutely no way to reverse that decision through System Settings. Regression from Sequoia: On Sequoia, after denying iCloud access, the app correctly appears under System Settings → Privacy & Security → Files and Folders where the user can toggle access back on. On Tahoe, the app does not appear anywhere in Privacy & Security after denial – not under Files and Folders, not under Apple ID → iCloud, nowhere. Technical details: Affected TCC services: kTCCServiceUbiquity + kTCCServiceLiverpool tccutil reset Ubiquity alone is insufficient Only tccutil reset All triggers the dialog again This suggests both services need to be reset simultaneously Impact: Normal users are permanently locked out with zero recovery path. The only workaround is Terminal: tccutil reset Al

App rejected under 3.1.1: Reviewer mistook native iOS StoreKit prompt for a custom password field
Hello everyone, I'm facing a very frustrating situation with App Review for my indie app, CoffeePomodoro, and I'm hoping someone here or an Apple engineer can help shed some light on how to escalate and resolve this. My recent update (Version 1.3.1, Submission ID: 59763b52-7c14-4b27-a2cf-2799d2bafe35) was rejected under Guideline 3.1.1 - In-App Purchase. The rejection message states: We found that the app includes a feature to restore previously purchased In-App Purchase products by entering the user's Apple Account and password. However, In-App Purchases cannot be restored in this manner. The Reality: There is absolutely zero custom UI, form, or TextField in my app that asks for an Apple ID or password. When a user taps Restore Purchases, the app simply calls Purchases.shared.restorePurchases() via the RevenueCat SDK, which directly wraps Apple's native SKPaymentQueue.restoreCompletedTransactions(). The credential prompt the reviewer saw is the native iOS system-level authentication dialog that appears autom

ControlCenter blocks a MenuBarExtra item due to foreign trackedApplications entry
I am seeing a reproducible issue with macOS ControlCenter's per-app menu bar tracking state in a SwiftUI MenuBarExtra app. On launch the app creates its menu bar status item. ControlCenter then reads group.com.apple.controlcenter / trackedApplications, moves the app's status item host to the blocked list, sends NSStatusItemChangeVisibilityAction with visibility=0, and the app terminates because its only status item is removed. Two observations: Changing only the bundle identifier makes the menu bar item appear normally. In trackedApplications, the affected app has its own entry with isAllowed: true; a separate entry for another app has isAllowed: false, and that disallowed foreign entry's menuItemLocations contained an entry referencing the affected app. Removing only the affected app's reference from the other app's disallowed entry fixed the issue: the app launched normally, and ControlCenter no longer sent visibility=0. ControlCenter appears to associate one app's menu item identity with another app's disa

Seeking guidance: subscription products in "Developer Action Needed" after first rejection, attachment section no longer appears on new versions
Hey All, Having a terrible time trying to submit subscriptions to the App Store. Any help or guidance would be much appreciated. Setup Auto-renewable subscriptions (Monthly + Annual) and one non-consumable (Lifetime), all attached to first binary submission RevenueCat for IAP infrastructure What happened First submission (v2.26): all three IAPs attached cleanly to the binary submission via the In-App Purchases and Subscriptions section on the version page. Apple's review came back with feedback on the paywall display (Guideline 3.1.2c - auto-renewable subscription prices not visible). The reviewer's screenshot showed Lifetime rendering correctly with a price, but the two subscription rows blank. I was missing a localization setting, which I then fixed. The localization went into Waiting for Review, then back to Rejected again within hours - App Store Connect's UI explains this: items attached to a rejected app version submission cannot independently progress through review. I then cancelled the v2.26 submissi

In-App Purchases not attaching to app review submission / IAP section missing in App Store Connect
Hello, I am experiencing an App Store Connect issue where my In-App Purchases are not attaching to the app review submission. Current situation: The IAP products are fully configured. Status is currently Waiting for Review. Product IDs match the app code correctly. Sandbox testing works correctly. However, the app version page does not display the In-App Purchases and Subscriptions section at all. App Review repeatedly responds that they cannot locate the IAPs during review. It appears the IAP submission linkage between the binary and App Store Connect may be corrupted or missing. App: Phantom Spy I would appreciate any guidance or escalation assistance. Thank you.

watchOS-Only App First Submission — IAP Rejected Multiple Times, Works in TestFlight Sandbox but Not in Review
Hi everyone, I'm submitting my watchOS-only app and its In-App Purchase for the very first time (both app and IAP submitted simultaneously). After multiple rejections, I still can't resolve the issue and would appreciate any guidance. Environment: App type: watchOS-only (no iOS companion app) First submission of both the app and IAP IAP type: Non-Consumable, Product Apple ID: 6770497337 The problem: The reviewer (App Review) states that the IAP product information cannot be retrieved in the review environment. According to the reviewer, they are testing in the production environment, not the sandbox. However: In my TestFlight build, the app correctly retrieves the IAP product I have successfully completed the full purchase flow using a sandbox account All business agreements (including Paid Apps Agreement) are accepted and active in The Bundle ID and Product ID are correctly configured in both Xcode and App Store Connect Current IAP status in App Store Connect: Overall status: Developer Acti

App rejected repeatedly: Subscriptions fail to load in Review but work perfectly in TestFlight
To the Apple Review and Developer Support Teams, I am writing to request guidance and assistance regarding a persistent rejection my React Native application is facing under Guideline 2.1 - Performance (In-App Purchases). My app has been rejected multiple times with the following specific note: The In-App Purchase products in the app still exhibited one or more bugs which create a poor user experience. Specifically, the subscription screen failed to load any subscription plans. Review the details and resources below to troubleshoot this issue. The screenshot provided by the review team shows a completely black screen where our paywall options are intended to populate, indicating that the product array is returning completely empty during the review process. The Dilemma: We are completely unable to reproduce this behavior on our end. Everything functions flawlessly within our TestFlight builds across multiple physical test devices and various sandbox tester accounts. On TestFlight, the paywall renders

Reply to App Pricing Change
Thanks for the post. Please review this documentation that goes over all the price changes as well and renewable subscriptions. https://developer.apple.com/help/app-store-connect/manage-subscriptions/manage-pricing-for-auto-renewable-subscriptions/ If you are testing via TestFlight or the Sandbox environment without a local file, iOS aggressively caches. When you change a price in App Store Connect, it is not instantly instantaneous across all of Apple's servers. Wait a few hours for price changes to fully propagate to the Sandbox and Production environments. If you just made the change, you may simply need to wait a bit. Hope this helps. You should connect with the developer support if you have more questions about pricing but their documentation seems complete to me. Albert

iOS 26.4 — How to return from main app to host app after a keyboard-extension dictation round-trip, without private APIs?
I'm building a custom keyboard extension that offers voice dictation. Because keyboard extensions are constrained (memory cap ~30–48 MB, restricted audio session access), I delegate recording to my container app: User in a host app (e.g., Safari) taps the mic in my keyboard extension. The keyboard calls extensionContext.open(URL(myapp://dictation)) to launch the container app. The container app records audio via AVAudioEngine + SFSpeechRecognizer, writes the final transcript to the App Group, and signals completion via a Darwin notification. 4. The user is expected to be returned to the original host app (Safari) automatically so they can keep typing. The problem (step 4): On iOS 26.4 I can no longer identify which app was the host. Every previously-known path returns nil for the keyboard extension's host: parent.value(forKey: _hostBundleID) → returns the literal string parent.value(forKey: _hostApplicationBundleIdentifier) → returns NSNull xpc_connection_copy_bundle_id on the underlying XPC connection (via P
