iOS 10 Beta 4 horrible battery life
When beta 1 came it battery life was horrible! It improved each time with beta 2 and 3, but the beta 4 is horrible! I can be charged 100% unplug phone and not even have the display on and it runs down about 15% in less than 5 minutes... almost dead in an hour.Anyone else having these issues or suggestions to fix it? I'm almost considering jumping over to the public beta to see if it is any better.

Reply to Using Pencil with iOS 10 beta 1
Same issue with iOS 10 Beta 4. The pencil worked fine under Beta 1 through 3. I tried rebooting, re-pairing, restoring iOS 10 beta 4 from iTunes, a new tip on the pencil. The pencil pairs, the battery level is displayed in notifications, but no recognition on the iPad pro 12.9. The Notes.app is also very slow, and crashes within 1-2 minutes, even after reloading Beta 4 via iTunes restore. I'm going to stop by an apple store to see if my pencil works with another ipad pro.

WatchOS beta 2 battery life
MY watch battery hasnt got any better from beta 1 to beta 2. It was doing fine today and I had about 70% left when I looked at it. Hour and a half Later and I look to see and it's at 15%!? What happened? I am using a very simple watch face without even one complication other then the date. Is there something I need to turn off or what?

Reply to Apple Pencil Pairing Issues
After one year i tried to use my pencil again and i have the same kind of problem. First i got messages there wa sonly 3% battery left. Charging didn't helped. I tried a reset of the ipad pro even a hard reset, nothing helped. I went to the apple store and they couldn't help, they don't know if there is a problem and the warranty was expended.(14 months, pffffff ) Back home i tried to charge the pencil true USB with the adaptor and after 15 tries of plugging it in and out of the ipad suddenly i got connected for 7 seconds, then disconnected again, and then connected again for a few seconds. Because of the short period of connection i could see that the battery of the pencil was at 100 % again but still it can't keep the connection. The icon of bluetooth at the top of the ipad is blinking all the time. After awhile the same problem of the beginning had came back and I get an Error that the Pencil took to long to pair. And again the same pairing pro

iPad and Apple Pencil Playground Submission
Your app playground must be built with and run on Swift Playgrounds 4.4 or later (requires iPadOS 16 or macOS 13.5, or later) or Xcode 15 on macOS 13.5, or later. You may incorporate the use of Apple Pencil. If I want to develop a playground for the iPad and Apple Pencil, am I limited to using Playgrounds on iPadOS to make it? Or could I also use Playgrounds on macOS and Xcode? If I use Xcode to make my iPad playground, should I select Xcode for Which software should we use to run your app playground? I assume so, as I used Xcode to make my app — but then it will be run in a simulator by the judges, which means they cannot use the Apple Pencil. I'm a little lost here. Any guidance is appreciated.

Beta 4 much better on battery life, responsiveness
wow the difference between betas 3 and 4 is like night and day on my watch. 3 was buggy, laggy and had terrible battery life. 4 is responsive, my wrist-raise now works, and after a few hours of wearing the watch it’s still at 100%. That wasn’t the case in previous betas. (Granted, I’ve not been doing anything other than glancing at the time, but still.) Curious as to others’ experience? I had to reset my watch and repaid it to get the beta to install, so maybe that had something to do with it?
