FileVault 2 and fdesetupQuestion:When changing account passwords outside of the login window or System Preferences, it does not appear that the FileVault 2 pre-boot login screen gets updated with the new password information.Is there a way to force the OS to update the pre-boot login screen with the new password info?Use cases that may apply:A. Using the passwd command (running as root) to update the account passwordB. On my MacPro I have some few issues.Razer Synapse does not show any connection Razer device like my keyboard or my mouse.Chrome WebGL is falling back to software rendering which causes some websites to become very slowly and flickery when scrolling.Git-Tower is always crashing when opening a Git repository.Had 2 Kernel Paniks when my Mac is set to sleep - Power Nap is disabled already (hope that fixes the Issue now)LG TrueColor app for my 21:9 display says it couldnt find USB connection (I guess the same issue like with Razer Synapse)StarCraft2 shows a pesky issue with this cursor zoom effect when shaking the mouse cursor. Help with third party App developer
HelloI am new to all of this and apprecaite any help that I can get.I am having a third party developer make me a simple app for iOS and Android.The developer is saying that it is a Corona based iTunes app.In order for me to test this app he is saying that I need to purchase an Enterprise Developer Account and to send him the account details so he can deploy it and I can play on my devices. He says to make sure to create a CORONA based iTunes and gives me the following steps: login then click on developer account then packages then cocoa select corona and then click on platform select iphone and android then select languages lua objective C android SDK java platform then click on soft in that select supported files then click on yes buttion then click on packages select packagesDoes any of this make sense to anyone?I have tried to enroll in an Enterprise Developer Account but it only allows me to sign up for the Individual Developer account.The developer is saying that I ca

Free Provisioning failing
So, I downloaded Xcode 7 and installed it to be able to use free provisioning to test my app on an iPhone running iOS 8.3 before subscribing to the developer program. Connecting my iPhone, I see it in the toolbar and on the device list in Devices window.I also added my Apple ID in the Preferences' Accounts Tab and it shows Free under iOS and Mac next to my name. Nevertheless when hitting the play/build-and-run button Xcode at first starts building the app but before transferring, I guess, it stops and tells me it was Unable to find a team with the given Team ID '<My ID>' to which you belong. Please contact Apple Developer Program Support. https://developer.apple.com/support, any suggestions what to do?I removed and added my account several times, getting the same message all of the times.

Urgent: All my provisioning profiles suddenly expired and all apps stopped working
I signed in this morning to developer.apple.com to find that I need to sign some contract with the new terms of service. I couldn't even access most of the site before I signed it. So I did.After that I visited my provisioning profiles section https://developer.apple.com/account/ios/profile/profileList.action?type=production to find that all my provisioning profiles have become expired.Also my apps already on the appstore started crashing. They crash upon launching. Currently none of my users are able to use the app unless they redownload the app from the appstore. I don't know why it works if you redownload it, but I am guessing it has something to do with the provisioning profile issue since:1. this issue is not unique to one app2. I didn't even submit a new version. The apps were running perfectly fine until a few days ago.3. I tried renewing one of the provisioning profiles for a test app and rebuilt it, and the test app started working again.Right now I don't know what I am supposed to do. My us

Reply to New File/Folder Permissions?
Yes. It is new to el capitan. The idea is to enhance security by making some system files locked down (even from sudo commands). It remains to be seen how good this is as far as security is concerned - and how much of a nuisance it is as far as making it harder to modify your system to suit your own particular requirements. You might not be able to change stuff you were able to before.

Reply to iOS 9 Beta battery life
Reposting this with more info:When the beta came out yesterday, I did an upgrade and not a restore. Today I litterally watched the battery percentage drop 1 percent every two minutes while I only had the home screen active (background apps disabled, location services disabled, etc). I kept checking the Settings -> Battery page and it show Home Screen at 15% of the usage, which was completely wrong.Today I did a complete restore and now things are better. The Settings -> Battery screen not only showed Photo App as the top user (I have over 8 gigs of phots and videos), but it also showed it as Background Activity. I didn't see that before I did the complete restore. Now, Mail, Messages and Calendar also show that. I'm sure the battery will still drain faster than with a production version, but at least it seems like the reporting is working correctly and it allowed me to understand what was sucking the life out of my battery.---------------------------------------------------------As an update, I have an
