Reply to Concerns About Rule 4.3 Spam Restriction - Enlightenment Needed
>and also similar design >because as a great part of features will be shared between the apps, we will reuse great (or at least some) of the codeIf app review sniffs out seemingly templated apps in your case, I think your primary concern should be with 4.2.6, instead. 4.3 kicks in when you have more than a few apps...have you a number, yet?Perhaps the best approach is for each client to have their own dev account, and their own unique app. Only app review knows how they will react otherwise.

Reply to Sign in with apple not working
Hi Jinkal, I come across your question in other post in relation to the “4.3 spam - your app primarily features astrology, horoscopes, palm reading, fortune telling or zodiac reports. as such, it duplicates the content and functionality of many other similar apps currently available on the App Store” just wondering if your app has successfully surpass this issue in the end? I’m coming across the same issue. Any lights shed would be appreciated.

Reply to 4.3 Design Guidelines - Apple please reconsider how this is enforced.
Masatoshi,You said in one of your ealier posts thatI also removed ALL OF MY LAW APPS from sale, including the previous version app.I got 4.3 rejection AGAIN this morning.Yet, you were somehow able to get through the review process and get approved later. What exactly did you do differently next time around? Did you remove ALL your apps from sale and then went through the approval again?I got the following rejectionDesign 4.3Thank you for your resubmission. However upon further review we continue to find that your photo taking apps are very similar. We understand that these apps are not exactly the same. However, apps that provide the same or similar feature set is not appropriate for the App Store.I removed all of my photography apps except for one. Submitted that for review and I still got the same Design 4.3 rejection. So that did you do different in your case? Whatelse did you end up removing? I have no idea whatelse they want me to do? I have no photography app left after removing all. I

Reply to Bizarre situation involving 4.3 guideline and app that cannot be deleted
By way of an update, even though it would cause our customers to lose their purchase, I've followed Apple's implied advice and deleted the 'new' app and gone back to using the 'old' undeleteable app record (so there's only one app record, no chance of confusion). But my submission has been rejected yet again, citing the same 4.3 guideline. Since the app is not similar to any other app we have... what are they talking about??I'm really out of ideas.

Guideline 4.3 - DesignWe noticed that your app provides the same feature set as other apps you've submitted to the App Store; it simply varies in content or language.Next StepsTo resolve this issue, please combine apps with similar feature sets into a single container app. You may want to consider using the in-app purchase API to deliver the different content to your users.Best regards,App Store Reviewhi my apps rejected this issue are you help me

Reply to About guideline 4.3 Design - spam
Because 4.3 is as you note about spam*, not branding per se, first things first**...Did you appeal? If so, what did you say?How many times? How many rejections? What did each rejection say? Were you told to make changes to meta data and not re-submit another build? Were you told to resubmit? And, since this might be about you/your account, and not simply this app, this time. How many apps of this general type have you put in the store so far that are yours for your product? How many apps of this general type have you put in the store so far that are for clients w/their own accounts and their own products?** Note these are simply questions to learn more details about what’s transpired to this point, not suggestions on what you should do next.* • 4.3 Spam Don’t create multiple Bundle IDs of the same app. If your app has different versions for specific locations, sports teams, universities, etc., consider submitting a single app and provide the variations using in-app purchase. Also avoid piling on to

Reply to 4.3 guideline nightmare
Your issue is the exact scenario that actually makes sense. Are you going to create 100 animal hunting games? You should have one app and they choose the animal game within in, you are bloating the store. However, in our case, we actually have distinct customers, that want their own app. They do not want to share between competitors and other organizations. This should not be combined into one app, this 4.3 does not make sense for us and is cause by apps like yours which cause bloat in the app store.

Reply to Guideline 4.3(a) - Design - Spam
Guideline 4.3 is pretty explicit: Don’t create multiple Bundle IDs of the same app. If your app has different versions for specific locations, sports teams, universities, etc., consider submitting a single app and provide the variations using in-app purchase. That seem to be precisely your case. Another thought: I don't know if it is the cause, but there is a Babbel app to train for foreign languages. The name of your app appears pretty close to it.

Reply to 4.3 Design Guidelines - Apple please reconsider how this is enforced.
>Apple needs to soften up the 4.3 guidelinesBe careful what you wish for - keep in mind that every time that happens, bad actors (watch out for them to come here to complain & spam yet again) drive trucks thru the result. Some of your ire goes towards those posers, as well, where Apple is yet again forced to react to schemes where the only goal is to game the process and sadly help ruin the store for well behaved devs in the process.Good luck in any case.Ken

Reply to Repeated 4.3 Guideline Rejections After Compliance & Feature Updates
Welcome to the forum. My advice as you once experienced a rejection, is to add a comment to the reviewer, each time you submit a new version, explaining exactly what you tell here. App was once rejected under 4.3, but after adding unique features it was accepted . These included: ✅ Public tracking profiles ✅ Widgets for stats ✅ Background fetch for updates ✅ No login required That will help a new reviewer to perform an better informed review taking into account that you have corrected what caused a former rejection.

Reply to 4.3 Design Spam (Suggestion for Apple)
Thank you. We're in the same boat--dinged on 4.2.6 and 4.3.We make software for trucking companies. Large trucking companies have their own app developers, accounts and marketing teams. Small to mid-size companies don't, but want to be as competitive as the big guys or else they're toast. Our apps help those companies provide a level of service that their customers only expect from larger companies. The last thing they want is to be forced into some container app that screams we're not as good as the big guys!

Reply to Rejected - Guideline 4.2 - Minimal functionality
You've seen it and App Review has seen it, so we're left to our imagination what they witnessed that prompted your exact rejection, but I'd speculate that a tilt-puzzle is hardly original/unique these days. MazeTilt, HydroTilt, Tilt-to-Live, FallDown, Tilt Tilt Ladybug, Block tilt Escape, Gate Tilt, tilt The Box, Time Tilt Ball....on and on, the store seems well saturated, since at least 2010. Maybe they've just had enough...surprised they didn't just flag it w/4.3.
